4. Lynn M.
About: We had several family pets, growing up: When I was very little, we had a mixed breed dog named Spot (original, no?), and later on, a lovely and sweet golden retriever, Bonnie. We also took in a stray black cat and named him Samson. As an adult, I have had seven cats and have adored them all. each of them with a different personality, some of the cutest and most loving cats ever. My BFF companions! All animals, wild and domesricated, are innocent and precious creatures and deserve our best. --------------------------------------- INFO FOR FIRST-TIME CLIENTS: Before I go on with my bio, I humbly ask that any prospective new clients kindly understand that, in everyone's best interests, including your precious furbabies, I am not able to confirm new client booking requests with, N.B.: less than 48 hours' notice, and not without a "meet and greet" visit first, so that I can get to know you and your pet/pets, beforehand; understand your/their needs and my duties. and we can come to a mutual decision that I would be a good fit for you and your pet/pets Also. I do apologize, but I am not able to care for clients' pets in my own home. However, with repeat clients, I can often arrange to be available on shorter notice, just depending on different variables. ( I do hope those basics are not off-putting or offensive. I try to be--and am--very flexible, hard-working, make every effort to go the extra mile. I am as easy-going and accommodative as possible, but it is important to explain these things upfront.) Thank you all so much, regardless, for reading thus far, and for your interest in having me as a sitter. --------------------------------------- ANYWAY...to continue with my personal history with animals:: In my mid-twenties, I decided to begin adopting cats, and not dogs, because when I first got pets, I was working, and so I was gone all day long and practically every evening and at church on Sundays... or else traveling on weekends to visit friends , or for a week or two at a time vacation or on business. I am now retired, and have more free time. I love retrievers and think Frenchies are so cute. And just about all cats. But I have a special place in my heart for ALL pets, most of whom want little more beyond the basics than simply to give snd receive love, especially my precious Orangesicle, an orange tabby, aka "ginger" cat. Since I am not not tied down with a regular 3rd-party job, I can stay in somebody's house with their beloved pets and take special care of them. They are like therapy to me. I would love to serve you and make a difference in your life... while at the same time, making a big difference in own life, as I am somewhat isolated right now and would love to get out and enjoy a change of scenery in somebody else's domicile and their beloved pets. Please contact the references whose emails I indicated, as they can also testify how much I love animals and my cats and how much I love people as well. I am retired and my time is fairly flexible, depending on what might be my existing scheduie over the duration of a booking request. Often I can rearrange my schedule to accommodate your needs. (For extended stays (5 or more days), I would want to negotiate with you for higher rates.) I take care of my cat every day and scoop out his litter box twice a day and feed him twice a day plus give him treats as he deserves them and really as he wants them , as long as it's not too much for his good health. I take a lot of time to hold him and love on him and play with him and he loves boxes and mice and feather toys on a rod. He is my pride and joy and my best bud and he follows me everywhere and greets me at the door ...and we sleep together, and he sleeps next to my pillow and sometimes on my pillow and puts his head next to my head and his body next to mine. We are intimate friends and I will take care of him and his needs and his health needs including surgeries, for as long as he can live , without undue suffering. My first cat was Simon. Later followed Garfunkel (not "Garfield"), Chopin, Edna, Van Gogh, and Picasso. I do not care for pets in my home but I'm happy to care for any kind of pet even besides a dog or cat, whatever it might be. For dogs, I am not available for walks that are longer than a couple of blocks. I prefer less heavy dogs. Thank you so much and I look forward to any and all clients who are interested in my services.

5. Brooklynn D.

“Brooklynn did such a fantastic job with my pups. She updated me frequently and made me feel at ease knowing my dogs were in good hands. Will absolutely be using her again”

6. Callie W.
“Callie is phenomenal with animals. She is reliable, trustworthy, and always on time. My dog, Skittles, is relatively high maintenance due to her anxiety. She is a rescue with a troubled past and sometimes has difficulties accepting new people into her life. Callie was so patient with her, and she never gave up on working to make sure my dog was comfortable. Now, it's unbelievable how excited Skittles gets whenever she sees Callie! Callie is very responsive, and she's helped to make sure my house looks better than when I left it when she comes over. I never have to worry if Skittles has food or water with Callie. She is a wonderful young woman, and any pet and pet owners would be lucky to have her!”

10. Trinita M.

“Trinita was fabulous with Cooper! She spent lots of time with him during the day, was always there bright and early to let him out, and sent several photos and videos throughout the day. She was very patient with Cooper as it took him a little time to warm up to his new friend, and she cared for him like one of her own. She is an excellent communicator, trustworthy, and loving towards our pup. Would definitely use again and would recommend!”

18. McKenzie A.
About: My love for animals manifested in the third grade and ever since the love was never lost. I recently worked at the Birmingham Zoo in which I worked with a plethora of exotic animals mainly being giraffes and lorikeets. I currently have a position at a Pet Daycare and Boarding facility where I work full time! On my days off I figured this is something I’d really enjoy! I am currently full time but any days I’m not scheduled I would love to take on any jobs and provide the best care I can. Since I work at a dog daycare and boarding facility I have a good amount of knowledge on how to read their behavior and what’s good and bad for dogs. I also have a good bit of training on getting them in and out of crates, and properly applying harnesses. I will also ensure anything of toxicity is always out of their reach.

19. Sutton S.
“Sutton handled my two dogs so well and gave them so much love. I felt comfortable being 1000 miles away and knew they were going to be ok. He house sit and dog sit for us and definitely will again! If you’re reading this then trust me and send him a request!”

20. Victoria R.
About: I started caring for dogs in undergrad and instantly fell in love! I sat for the same dog lovers consistently for long time frames . I work from home MWF and in person on Tuesday and Thursday. Depending on the location, I can walk the dog during the day on MWF and I’m free most weekends. They will never be left unattended, and I promise to follow your instructions for your pet. Plus, I’ll shower them with extra love all the time!
