“Josette has been wonderful with our two dogs! We have an anxious girl who is typically nervous around new people but she took to Josette right away and is now very excited when she comes because she knows she is going to go on an adventure with her and have a blast. Josette is also great with our senior guy, and she’s able to tire them both out even though they have different exercise needs. Josette also totally spoiled them with plenty of treats (pre-approved by us) and by switching up the activities she took them on so every day was new and exciting. She also sent plenty of update photos, which we appreciate. We’re very pleased with how quickly our dogs became comfortable with her and we fully trust her with our fur babies. He spent over an hour getting to know us and our Karma prior to the booking and immediately made us feel at ease with his knowledge and extensive experience taking care of animals. We were concerned about finding a dog sitter who felt comfortable administering daily insulin injections, particularly as Karma had recently grown less tolerant of needles, but Patrick had prior experience and ultimately no issue giving the shots as instructed over the care period. He spent so much quality time with Karma - tons of cuddles and walks! - and sent wonderful photos and updates on her day with frequency. Patrick made our first experience with Rover incredibly easy. About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments since I was a kid. With over 2 decades of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for senior pets, puppies/kittens, pregnant animals (even helping deliver the babies!), and everything in between. Friends, family, and neighbors have always relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love on their pets like they’re my own. I also have experience with administering medications (I am a medical student), leash training, and providing lots of mental stimulation and affection. Your fur baby is in safe, loving hands with me! I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility during the week and weekends to care for your pet. I’m available for house sitting, walks, and check-ins as needed. I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve, no rushed visits here! I have two gentle, senior, well-socialized dogs at home, but I do not presently offer boarding. I care for your pets in the comfort of their own environment, following your routine closely to reduce stress. I prioritize calm, respectful interactions and can crate your dog if needed. I’m here to ensure your pets feel safe, secure, and loved while you’re away.
