About: I have taken a wide variety of dogs from a Chihuahua to a German shepherd. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, give medications and play with their dogs. I have also stayed overnight servers different times. This has given a wide variety of experience with different cares and types of dogs. I am currently looking for part time summer jobs. I am fairly flexible and could work a variety of days and hours. I am able to pick up jobs at a short notice. I have a two weeks I would not be able to work but am free the rest of the summer. I am not currently in an apartment that would not suite dogs. I am comfortable and have experience with pet care in the home. I would be able to stay or night or visit throughout the day. I can walk, play and crate dogs if needed.

About: Hi! I have had 2 family dogs and I currently own 2 cats. I have worked at a dog kennel and done a couple internships at vets. I can work with any type of animal of any age. I plan to have a full time job but can check in on your babies as needed. I am also willing to stay overnight if necessary. I can drive to client’s homes. I can feed, medicate, walk, scoop litter boxes, and anything else needed. I prefer to go to client’s homes rather than take them home.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats! I have a car so I can drive as much as needed and I am responsible AND dependable. I am very flexible with time and days, multiple times a day if needed! Please just let me know what your pet needs and what you usually do! I want to keep your pets comfort table and safe. I will keep a close watch on them and make them feel loved and cared for!

About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours this summer! I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts, I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

I grew up with 3 dogs and a cat, so I am well versed in the fur baby community! I currently have a full time job Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday so I am looking to pick up some pet care work on Tuesdays and the weekends! “Healther - is very good and dependable.”

About: I’ve taken care of my aunt’s dog since I was little and then briefly lived with one until he passed. I was in charge of walking and feeding them and both dogs absolutely adored me. Now as I’ve grown up, my favorite animals are still dogs but I unfortunately don’t have any and I have the cutest little kitties. Hoping to get my serotonin boost from hanging out with your pups instead! I’m currently studying so I’m available for onboarding any day you need me to! I’m free to watch over them and make sure their needs are met since I am home all day typically. My yard isn’t fenced fully but it is mostly and your fur baby will have all the space to run around. I will be home all day to keep them company and make sure they’re happy.

About: Growing up I’ve always had a love for animals. We had a range of different pets, you ask and I probably had one! I have worked a few years in a grooming salon. Friends and family have made me the go to person to pet sit for them when it’s needed. I enjoy it every single time and can’t pass up the opportunity. I have three dogs and one cat of my own. “Be the person your dog thinks you are.” Pet care is my focus on a full-time career. Whatever needs you may want we can work something out to accommodate those needs. Available during the week anytime and occasional weekends, as pet care is my full time job! Every pet and client is different. You tell me your needs and wants and they will be implemented. Lots of love and belly rubs will be given to your fur baby. We will become best friends!

About: I've had a lifelong love for dogs and currently have two Irish Setters in the family, so I understand the energy, patience, and attention dogs of all ages need. I’m passionate about helping pet owners who may not have the time in their busy schedules to give their dogs the exercise and companionship they deserve. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior dog needing a gentler pace, I provide caring, reliable support tailored to each dog's needs. I'm a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington, and I'm home for the summer in southwest Fort Wayne with extra time on my hands. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine right now — I have a flexible schedule and plenty of energy to dedicate to walking, playing with, and caring for dogs. I care for pets by visiting them in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I make sure to follow any specific routines or instructions provided, whether that’s for feeding, playtime, or potty breaks. For dog walking, I prioritize safe, enjoyable walks tailored to each dog's energy level and needs, giving them the exercise, attention, and companionship they deserve.

“Amara is a wonderful and very reliable dog sitter and dog walker. She was always on time, connected with our dog quickly, filled out the report card and was always available if we had additional questions. We can highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to watch your dog.”

About: With over 10 years of animal care experience working as a veterinary technician and a boarding facility attendant I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience administering medication, flea/heartworm prevention as well as feeding/watering, taking them for walks and spending time with them in general. I’m seeking a part-time opportunity that combines my passion and experience in caring for animals. I’d be delighted to check in on your pets and, for dogs, provide enriching walks or visits to the dog park to keep them happy and active. While I’m unable to host dogs or cats in my home due to living in an apartment with my four beloved cats, I’m happy to care for small animals at my residence. For drop-in visits or dog walking, I’ll follow all provided instructions and stick to your pet’s routine to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. As a proud cat parent to four spoiled felines, I understand the importance of treating every pet with the utmost care and love.
