I’ve got friends and neighbors who rely on me to visit, feed, play and stay for overnights or vacations with their pets. Would love to help others with their pet needs! About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours while you’re away! I am very flexible during the summer, school holiday breaks & weekends, but I also continue Rover services during the school week as well. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I'm extremely patient with any dog. I always make sure they fell comfortable around me before I do anything! I am a strong walker! I also know how to make the most out of any time spent with a dog! Pet care is my number one priority for an animal I take care of! I will always make sure that the animal is the top priority when we go anywhere. I always put the dogs safety before my own. I will watch for other dogs and loose animals when we go on walks. When sitting in the past I let the parent know of the times I let the dog out or do anything with the animal. I will send many cute pictures for updates of what is going on!

About: I am a mom of 2 college-aged kids. I work from home and have time and love to share. I have owned my own pets since graduating from college. My family has been blessed with multiple dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens. We no longer live on a farm but live in a very animal-friendly subdivision with abundant sidewalks for dog walking. My daughter and I are animal lovers and have fostered 4 puppies and numerous adult dogs waiting for transportation to their furever homes. We also volunteer seasonally with the Humane Society of Cozumel and assist with spay/neuter recovery. We welcome the energy that 4-legged visitors bring to our home. We have an adopted, aging chihuahua mix who is not very active. I would love to talk to you and meet your babies before either of us makes a commitment. Of course, it has to be a good fit. Your confidence and trust in a pet-sitter is crucial. I believe I can be the one to love and care for your baby like you do. I live in the Sw suburbs and have a large fenced backyard that backs up to a wooded area. We have lots of great sidewalks for taking long walks with little traffic. I work from home online Monday through Friday. My schedule is flexible and I enjoy the company that dogs provide. I can provide plenty of outside time and playtime during the day. I have a large fenced in backyard. I also provide walks in my neighborhood or yours. The activity level is dependent on your pets needs. I always feed dogs separately.

About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born, and my family has always had at least two dogs in our family at all times! I have also always been a trusted source when it comes to watching family, friends, and neighbors' animals! For example, I have watched puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, fish, and even guinea pigs. Two of my own dogs are Leader Dogs for the blind moms, so I have experience with all different kinds of situations and ages when it comes to dogs. I also have experience with elder dogs as I have had 4 dogs pass from old age and have experience with health problems in dogs as well. I currently do not have a job so I am available any day at any time. I do have a prior commitment from July 23rd-27th and I leave for college at the end of August. I have a ton of experience when it comes to safety and caring for pets. My dogs go outside with a leash on, especially during walks. If there is a fence for the pets to use I will keep my eyes on them at all times, because no one ever knows what can happen. I have experience with putting pets into a crate or cage if necessary.

About: Since I was 9 years old, I have been responsible for taking care of my own pets as well as those of my neighbors. This includes dog walking and pet sitting. I’m in college and available on Sundays, Mondays through Wednesday. Other days will vary, but I’m always happy to walk and pet sit according to your pet's specific needs.
