About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours while you’re away! I am very flexible during the summer, school holiday breaks & weekends, but I also continue Rover services during the school week as well. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I have had a dog since I was 8 years old and I grew up around many animals, such as cats and birds. I love to play with dogs and make them less anxious while their owners are away. I am a college student, so I am pretty busy, so I could not stay all day, every day, but I am happy to make it work any way I possibly can! About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 8. I love all animals but especially dogs. I’m an RN but in my free time I love being outdoors and going for walks. I work part time. So I have plenty of free time to spend with your beloved pets. I love going for walks and being active outdoor I have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks. I have the sweetest lab to keep your fur baby company with playing or napping.

About: I love animals, I grow up on a ranch for most of my childhood. I've been around and taken care of all kinds of animals throughout the years; dogs, cats chickens, goats, pigs, ducks, and turkeys. I've had a number of dogs that are all different breads; my chihuahua Daisy that I had since she was a pup until she was 9 years old. My three beautiful mixed Black Labs/ Chows Bob, Rita, and Uno. Bob and Rita came to us together and unbeknownst to us Rita was pregnant. Shortly after we got Uno who was the first of his litter of 9. My last pup was Bobby a sweet beautiful Pitbull that my brother and I rescued when he was about 3 years old. I currently have no pets to call my own, sense moving to the Fort Wayne area. I miss having the company of a fur baby of my own. I have house and dog sit for a number of friends and colleagues and I absolutely love it. I would love the opportunity meet, play and nap with new furry friends. I currently do contract work and don’t have a set schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m often available during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends. Since I’m new to Fort Wayne, I would love having a furry walking buddy while I explore the area’s parks and trails! I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. During drop-in visits, I will carefully follow your instructions for feeding, water, medication, playtime, walks, and any other needs. I’ll treat your pet and home with respect, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and receiving plenty of attention. I do not currently offer boarding or daycare in my home.

About: I have had the pleasure of caring for my own cats and dogs since I was 8 years old. I have experience with puppies and kittens to seniors and everything in between. I have helped watch pets for friends, family, and neighbors. I know how to properly introduce animals to new people and animals, and have experience with high anxiety pets. I am currently a stay at home mom with my two kids. I have plenty of availability for daily check-ins and walks with your pets. I care for pets in their own homes while their humans are at work or on trips. I have extensive experience feeding, providing medications and treats, and walking. I know how to use feeding puzzles and balls. I’ve used almost all varieties of harnesses and leads. I also have experience crating pets as needed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family friends and neighbors since I was very young. I also have a lot experience with cats, as I own two myself! I graduated with a B.A. in environmental and marine science in 2023 and worked as a zookeeper for two years. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am available during mornings and evenings depending on the day I am not able to care for pets in my home. Both of my cats are quite old and do not do well when around other animals.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for neighbors since I was about 12 years old. I’ve taken care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and that random goldfish you win at the fair. I am experienced in giving cats injections if that is a service you are in need / looking for, let me know! I’m currently finishing up school with classes one to three days a week. I’ll have plenty of time to give your pet the loving care they need until you can! I care for pets in the safety of their own home to reduce their anxiety. Fortunately for you, I am OCD and will make sure your pet is safe and all instructions are completed as provided.

About: I have had cats & medium-to-large breed dogs my entire life. I have experience with senior dogs, especially grumpy cats, and giving oral medications. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom to my spoiled rottweiler, Remington; so I have time during the day for walks or check-ins. I am a stay-at-home dog mom, so I have my days & evenings free to do check-ins or walks. I do NOT currently offer housesitting or boarding because of my spoiled rottweiler. 🐶💓 I ensure leashes are well fitting and follow all instructions provided. I secure any escape routes, and double check doors are locked or secure. I also make sure any choking hazards are put up or disposed of. Ensuring the safety of your pet is my number 1 priority.

About: I've had a dog since I was roughly 9 and she passed away recently so I'd like to spend some of my love of dogs with your dogs! I currently have 2 cats, Ekko and Demeter. I work a swing shift with a set schedule so I can usually schedule walks in pretty easily! Generally I'm more busy on 1 week at work than the next week so most of my availability is on the short week. I treat your pets with love and care as I treat my own, if this is their time during the day you're at work that they are allowed to go outside then I'll make sure to let them sniff and walk a little extra.

I am pet first aid and CPR certified through Purdue university, I have 5+ years of dog training and behavior experience, and I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for 1 year and gained valuable animal husbandry and care skills. I’d love to hangout with your pup! I run my own pet brand where I work from home so I am able to host dogs, or come visit your pup any day of the week and anytime. I can make my schedule fit with yours! I live in a good neighborhood where we can take leashed walks, or drive to a nearby park to play. I can crate dogs or let them free roam, I have two other dogs to keep your pets company or I have the ability to keep them seperate if that’s what’s needed. For in home visits I can do anything you require!

About: I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life! I've personally had 5 dogs and 5 cats (at different times in my life) and I've cared for many more! I specialize in caring for bigger dogs such as Pit Bulls, Rotties, and Great Pyrenees, I love animals and want to see they get the most loving and compassionate care! I live in a townhouse attached to an apartment complex where I have a small fenced in yard and an available dog run. About: I have grown up around pets my whole life. Currently I have a small Havanese and a cat, but if it were up to me I would have a-lot more! I have previous experience watching my neighbors Basset hound and Rottweiler for weeks at a time while they were on vacation. This consisted of many walks a day, feeding the dogs, picking up poop out of the yard, and staying the night at their house. I also have pet sit for a family with two Yorkies, a Chihuahua and a bunny. One summer I nannied/ dog sat for a family with a toddler and golden doodle three times a week. One unique experience I have is caring for a blind and deaf elderly dog. I had to watch her while she went to the bathroom, carry her up the stairs, feed her separately from the other dogs, and pick her up when she fell. I believe that I can tackle any challenge and give your pets the best care they deserve! I am currently a student with classes in the mid morning. I could let pets out/ dog walk in the morning before class and I am free in the afternoons and able to stay overnight if needed. I would take into consideration my surroundings in a house before taking my eyes off the animal. I don’t plan on watching animals in my own home so I would trust that the owners provide a safe environment for their pets. I would have a meet and greet with the owner and pets prior to watching them to fully understand what the owner expects of me.
