About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.

My home is dog-friendly, with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and room to relax indoors. I have a mellow dog of my own, and I understand that not every dog will immediately feel comfortable around a new dog or in a new environment. I take a gradual, individualized approach to helping each guest settle in. Your dog will have time to get comfortable with my husband and me, explore the house, and decompress before any introductions to my dog. I'll follow their cues and comfort level, allowing them to adjust at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed. If the dogs don't get along or simply need their own space, my home can be sectioned off so they can remain safely separated while still receiving plenty of individual attention, affection, and playtime. Dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor fun in the fenced yard or relax and play indoors. I also have two large dog beds available, or you're welcome to bring your dog's own bed and familiar items to help them feel at home. My priority is to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where every dog feels comfortable, gets the attention they deserve, and is cared for as an individual.

We don't take that responsibility lightly! Our home is a place where dogs are treated like family, not simply boarded as guests. Since we're currently without pets of our own, your pup won't have to compete with our resident dogs for attention! We respect every dog's individual needs, personality, and comfort level. Some dogs want to cuddle right beside you, while others prefer their own quiet space. We're happy to accommodate both! We'll carefully follow your instructions regarding food, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and other special needs.
