Karen was awesome. So friendly, she put me at ease right away, she obviously loves dogs. She had great communication and was punctual picking up our dog for his walk. He looked like he had a fun time. I would not hesitate to use Karen again.

Kara was amazing when I needed a last minute dog walker. She came everyday on time and communicated when she picked Moose up and dropped him off. She even wrote notes about the walk! I could not have found a better/sweeter friend for Moose that week! Thank you Kara!

About: I have been taking care of pets my whole life for neighbors, relatives, and friends. Currently, I travel throughout seasons for my career, but love meeting the people and pets in my area. Ask me how long I am in your area! I am a park ranger and a long time pet lover. I have experience with senior dogs primarily but enjoy working with dogs with energy, tons of cat experience as well. Because Rover is my second job, I am not able to give potty breaks sooner than every 9+ hours which may not be feasible for senior dogs and excitable puppies. If this works for you, I look forward to meeting you and your beloved fur baby/ies! Hope to schedule a walk or visit with you & your pet(s) soon. Thank you for considering me, I know there are many options when picking someone to care for your fur-babies. Please message me if you would like to know more. Because Rover is my second job, there I am only able to give potty breaks after 9+ hours on workdays. I am off through the month of November 2025, which does allow me to let your furbabies as often as they need. I am likely available for your weekend getaways. I do my best to update my calendar, however message with your dates and I will be happy to work with you. I do not let dogs outside without a leash unless there is a fenced in yard, or after I develop a relationship with the pups if the owner is comfortable with it/is normal practice when owners are present.

About: Passionate animal lover with extensive dog experience. Former Equestrian, athlete, rescuer and dedicated caretaker. Energetic and nurturing, I’ll be your pup’s 2nd best friend! :) I'm currently working part time, as a house cleaner. At the moment, it's only about two times a week. So I'll be very available for your pup! I'm always free in the evenings for overnight stays. Additionally I try to be active everyday, so I would love to take your pups for walks and runs! I'm free in the mornings/afternoons for playtimes and fun as well. I will follow your house rules to a tea and treat your pups as if they were my own. I understand every dog is different in their own way. Whether in care or personality. :) But I will love them all the same! When walking or running with your pups I like to keep them where they feel familiar, and I will never exceed or go below the amount of exercise you tell me they need. Regarding overnight care, I am a very tidy and organized person that will never cross the boundaries you lay out.

About: Dogs are the best and my 3 at home always keep it interesting. I have been around every dog stage of life from new born puppy to Rainbow Bridge. I work from home M-F during the day but have a lot of flexibility during my days. Open most weekends as well. Am a planner by nature but can likely squeeze in last minute requests or needs as well due open schedule. I prefer detailed directions from owners as all pets are so different! I would love to spend enough time with your pets to bond/connect and get to know their personalities.

About: With over 10 years of experience in dog walking, dog sitting, and house sitting, I’ve had the joy of building lasting relationships with pets and their people. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and temperaments—from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, rescues with trauma histories, high-anxiety pups, and velcro dogs who thrive with extra attention and reassurance. I also have hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds, including Chihuahuas, Australian Cattle Dogs, Huskies, German Shepherds, Labradors, Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, and plenty of lovable mixed breeds. Whether your dog is small and shy, big and strong, or somewhere in between, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs, energy levels, and personalities. Since starting on Rover this summer, I’ve completed multiple house sitting and dog sitting gigs, both short and extended stays. This includes week-long stays for two different clients—one with two dogs and another with one—and several short-term boarding stays in my home earlier in the season. (Note: I’m currently not offering boarding, but I do offer house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in care!) In the past, I spent six years caring for a client’s dog while they traveled annually to Peru, staying in their home for about two weeks each year. During those visits, I handled daily walks, feeding, and plant care. I’ve also provided weekly dog walks for a client with two dogs, and many of my clients include plant care as part of my services while they’re away. My clients appreciate that: 🕒 I’m self-employed and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can offer more one-on-one time and consistent care. 🐾 I don’t have any pets of my own, so I’m a great match for dogs who don’t do well around other animals or need a calm, focused environment. 🐕‍🦺 I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking dogs on multiple daily walks, hikes, lake adventures, dog park trips, or whatever their favorite activities are. 🧸 I also love to spoil dogs with attention, treats (with permission), and pup cups! I’m great at following your dog’s regular routine to help them feel safe and comfortable in your absence. I also offer regular photo updates so you can stay connected while you're away. Whether you need someone to keep your pup active during the day, provide loving in-home overnight care, or water your plants while caring for your dog—I’m here to provide reliable, personalized, and compassionate care. As a self-employed professional with a flexible, work-from-home schedule, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pup. I make your pet’s care a priority—whether that means sticking to a specific routine, accommodating special needs, or providing extra enrichment throughout the day. I’m happy to work with you to create a personalized care plan that fits your dog’s unique personality and lifestyle. I also offer long-term and recurring services for clients looking for reliable, consistent support and peace of mind. When caring for pets—whether in your home or mine—safety is always my top priority. I carefully check the space for potential hazards, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep anything dangerous out of reach. Your pet will always be in a safe, supervised, and comfortable environment. Trust is essential in building strong relationships with both pets and their people. I have years of hands-on experience, glowing reviews, and a long list of happy clients who regularly refer me—all of which reflect my dedication and consistency. I also pride myself on being a clear and responsive communicator, so you’ll always be in the loop with regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost care and respect. I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that means walks, feedings, playtime, or quiet time in their favorite spot. I make sure they always have access to food, fresh water, and a cozy, clean place to rest. My goal is to keep your pet happy, relaxed, and feeling at home—even when you're not there.

About: I’ve been fond of taking care of animals since I was little. I recently stayed at an apartment and dog sat a husky for about 3 weeks. My family friends send their pets to me to take care of them, or I go to their house while they’re away. I have fed, walked, ran with, cleaned, and groomed animals happily. I'm currently working part-time as a cleaner and my schedule is completely flexible. I'm able to drop everything to hang out with your animal and give them what they need. I live in an apartment complex and I'm not allowed to let animals come and go, but I am happy to play with your animals in your home and take them on long, adventerous walks. <3

Gina is a godsend on so many levels. During our meet and greet, it was discovered that she actually took care of Allie before I adopted her! I cannot tell you how much comfort that gave to me. Allie was very well cared for at the SPCA on Florin Avenue. So now Allie gets to see really good friends from her past as she enjoys her present. For this visit, Gina made herself available at the very last moment, due to me breaking my leg. I am so grateful for help. I will definitely reserve Gina again in the future.

About: Hello! My name is MK and I’m a natural born lover of animals and previous pet owner myself (cats/dogs) with some experience in training pups. When it comes to pets I have an endless supply of love, energy and patience to play, care for and help train/keep on a routine as needed. I understand that a lot goes into caring for different animal friends (of all kinds) with their varying needs and am committed to consistency as well as quality when it comes to serving you and your furry (or furless) loved one. Whether we go for a walk/run in the park or just hang out and play at home, I’m more than happy, willing and ready to help in any capacity. I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re away that your babies are happy, safe, and well cared for and I promise to provide that. Thank you for considering me in your search for a good sitter! I’m a farmer by trade, which means that as we transition into the colder months, I will have more availability and flexibility in my work schedule to spend time with and check in on your furry loved one. A typical work day for me lasts between 5-8 hours, so depending on your location I can take breaks if need be to provide walks/bathroom breaks during those hours. The house that I rent has a no pet policy, so the care that I give and time I spend with your pet would be limited to your home and also general outings. Whatever safety measures and requirements you have in place at your home and for your pet, though, I will honor and follow.

About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.

About: I have had a true love for animals since I was a little girl growing up on our farm. Animals have always been a big part of my life, whether it's my own, or caring for others, from cats up to horses and everything in between. I believe that a house is not complete without the company of a pet. And I couldn't imagine not ever having one! I currently have a lovebird, named Peaches, a German Shepherd, named Yogi Bear, an iguana, named Yoshi and 3 cats, named Bubbles, Mr. MaGoo, and Uncle Fester. So as you can see animals have been and will always be a huge part of my life. I can not wait to meet yours! I work from home and do most of my schooling from home also so my availability is pretty much wide open. I am very flexible when it comes to working around others schedule. Let's just say that my pets are very spoiled and they know what to expect from me on a daily basis. I like to keep a routine as much as possible, so that they know when it's time to eat and have snacks and lots of playtime and interacting with me and others. I believe in a very clean and safe environment for them.
