About: I have been surrounded by dogs since birth and I have had a deep rooted love and passion for all animals from as early as I can remember. My parents bred our beloved family weimaraner when I was young and I was lucky to grow up surrounded by puppies as well as learning what it takes to raise and care for a dog. I am the fairy godmother to many of my close friends pets, as my love for them is nearly palpable. I have experience with many types of dogs, and I look forward to playtime & pushing some pavement with your precious pooch! I am available Friday-Sunday most weeks. I work as a flight attendant and am typically away from home Monday-Thursday. I am enthusiastic about the outdoors and can take your furry friend on beautiful weekend hikes. I live in Boiceville on just under an acre of land. My yard is not fenced in, however there’s plenty of space for your doggo to roam around under my supervision. Being in the Catskills there is also an abundance of beautiful places to walk and hike. I can feed, walk, play, board, crate (if needed), etc, in my home or yours.

About: As a freelancer working in the arts, I have been called upon to dog-walk & pet/housesit for colleagues, friends, and neighbours in cities across Canada, Los Angeles, New York and now in my current home of the Hudson Valley. Ive cared for dogs (big and small) cats & kittens and fish. I also love gardening and can care for plants. I am discreet, professional, mature & know how to communicate. I do not drink or do drugs. I live a healthy, peaceful lifestyle and will bring that good, clean energy into your home caring for your pets. I do NOT have my own pet that I would bring to your house. I am a writer who makes their own schedule so I can easily fit pet care into my schedule on my own terms, and am available on weekends when things can be extra busy. In my clients home I am usually in-and-out to pick up the doggo and if requested/needed can stay longer to give the dog more play-time, stimulation with games etc in the home or in the yard.

About: I’ve always had pets throughout my lifetime from kitties, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, squirrels that I hand fed and set free with my father- and many more. I worked in pet stores and help foster kittens when available. 💕 Look forward to meeting you soon. I work part time as a territory supervisor, and my work is flexible. I’m home every night and throughout the day leaving me with much time to care for your pets. I’ve given medications and feed depending on preference of pet and client. Each pet is unique to their way of being and I like to match the energy needed.

About: I Work nights! I am off Thursday and Friday nights. I've rasied my 80lb. Female dog from when she was 4 weeks old to about 6 years. I'm very active and love to take my dog out for runs. Very disciplined and have taught my big girl to behave politely in NYC. I've taken care of huskies and smaller dogs like chihuahuas and poodles for neighbors as well! I work overnights and just moved to an Tamnersville. I would love to walk or just spend time with a dog. My dog is home on staten island with family and I miss spending time with dogs so much! Hygiene and cleanliness at home are priority. A lot of canine care is knowing what each dogs' wants and needs are. Each dog will communicate to you what they want and need. Communication with the owner is key along with ensuring the dog is well fed and stimulated!

About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.

About: I've worked with dogs and cats since I was 7. I have spent the past several years learning how to train service dogs. I am incredibly patient and gentle and am very willing to match my style of training to yours. I work weekends so I am free most days to walk your pets while you are at work or on a trip!! I am super flexible and easy going. My number one priority is your pets safety. This looks like ensuring your pet has plenty of water, access to shade if it's hot, and appropriate distance from other dogs.

About: I have always had a special connection with dogs. I grew up with dogs and treated them like part of the family. I have been primarily working as a pet nanny for 5 years for someone who traveled to Europe on a monthly basis. They are staying in Europe indefinitely so I am looking to add some new clients. I can offer your dogs fun playtime and a sense of stability by caring for them in their own environment. I am also available for walks and drop in visits. I send pictures and updates daily. Your best friend will be spoiled and pampered with me. I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of availability as this is my main job. I can also do long term sitting up to 6 weeks if necessary. I am responsible and professional and respectful in your home. Besides caring for your pets, I am happy to pick up mail and water plants.

About: I absolutely love taking care of and being around animals. I am kind, reliable and very loving, with years of experience with both cats & dogs. I currently work part-time very close to my home and have reliable transportation. This means I typically have plenty of time to cater to your pets daily needs. Some days I would be able to be with them all day, whereas other days I can do morning, nights, or middle-of-the-day check-ins. I typically do not care for client's pets in my own home because of my two cats. I am happy to travel to any client home to take care of their pet however that may be needed: play, walks, parks, etc.

I currently work part-time and have a lot of availability in between my work schedule. I can easily pet care during the week and on the weekends. I am 100% present and naturally intuitive with animals. I am there for whatever they may need. They will be cared for and loved when they are with me.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: I have worked a lot with both ends of the spectrum in terms of activity: I enjoy sleepy dogs as well as hounds. I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. I have recently graduated from Bard College. This summer, I have plenty of time to take care of pets while I prepare for graduate studies. I love hiking, running, reading books, and watching movies — all of those activities are infinitely better with a cat, a dog, a turtle, or fish! At my client's houses, I make sure to maintain a clean and safe environment where pets do not come into contact with anything or anyone that poses even the slightest risk to their health and well-being.
