About: Hi! I am a licensed veterinary technician whose passion has been pets and animals my whole life! Before I was an LVT, I worked at a well known doggy daycare and boarding facility while I was in college. Even before that, I would pet sit for friends and family. I have experience with dogs, cats (I’m a crazy cat lady at heart), pocket pets (guinea pigs, rats, hamsters), farm animals, and the occasional snake! I’ll love your fur babies like my own! I currently work in Portland Tuesday-Friday 7:30-6pm. I would love to take care of your pets outside these hours if that fits their lifestyle! I have reliable transportation to come to your home and take care of your pets! I will follow any specific directions you have for your pet, their safety and comfort is my priority. I am knowledgeable on animal behavior and will treat them as if they were my own pet to make sure they get the best treatment! At this time, I cannot take pets into my own home.

About: I excel at making dogs feel calm and like their owners never even left the house. Learning their schedules, quirks, and favorite walking spots helps me make them feel comfortable for extended stays. Energetic puppy? I’ll run around w them and tire them out. Senior dog? We can relax and go at their pace. What sets me apart is my intuition and caring heart. I have a flexible, remote job so I am able to stay with your pet as long as needed through the day and take them on frequent walks in the neighborhood good or to the dog park! I do live-in dogsitting/housesitting at the client’s house. I like to learn about your dog (how they like to play, chill, etc..) so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I had 2 dogs myself and I cared for them and made sure they were happy 24/7. I have a passion for any size, shape, friendly or non friendly. I love to cuddle with dogs, especially with the fluffy ones. My favorite breed are labs. I had a lab myself and they are the best dogs out there. I’m pretty good giving the dogs their supper at the usual time they eat. I always play with them and take them for walks. Just to be aware of for the dog owners. “We have always had family or close friends take care of our three precious Shih Tzus (Cocoa 17, Winnie 8 and Tobi 2) so finding a professional dog sitter was a little scary at first. I made contact with Liz (through Rover) and we set up a meet and greet at our home so we could all get to know eachother and decide if the arrangement would be a good fit. Liz introduced herself, told us about her background and experience taking care of different breeds of dogs/animals. I was very impressed with her knowledge and how genuinely sweet she was to our little babies. She ended up spending a couple hours at our house which was nice, mostly getting to know each of our dogs and their very unique personalities lol. We also spent time going over everything from likes, dislikes, playtime, bedtime routines and most importantly mealtime/feeding routines. Liz was there at dinner time so we were able to over the measurements and all of the different types of food we use (it can be confusing at times). We gave her a tour of the house, outside yards and she asked all the right questions that I didnt even think about asking (being new to this and all). I felt very at ease after she left and confident we made the right decision hiring her. While away, Liz sent us updates, pictures and communicated any questions she had. All three of our dogs were so happy, well fed, exercised and most importantly LOVED while Mom and Dad were away. On the day Liz left she made sure the dog's morning routines were all completed, she gave them some extra love, left the house spotless and even started the dishwasher. We highly recommend Liz and hopefully she will have availability the next time we are in need!!!! Thank you🥰”

“Marissa was fantastic! I will definitely use her again! My girls fell in love with her, and one likes to test people to see if she can gain control and run the house. Marissa was firm in who was in control, but loving to jot hurt feelings. She provided regular updates and together we got through some tummy issues to make it where I got back home. The house kitties, who were not part of her duties other than to accept snuggles, adored her as well. At one point she was surrounded by 2 dogs and 2 kitties touching her at once! When we got back, as excited as my dogs were to see me, they also looked around me to see if Marissa was there. My animals tell me all I need to know about a person, abd they adore her. Your pets will too!”
