About: I have had plenty of animals of my own including but not limited to- cats, dogs, fish, lizards, turtles, birds, rabbits, chickens and other farm animals. I have house sat for many different types of families. Full farms, medically challenged pets, senior animals, young animals. I love them all dearly! I can do drop ins and walks before work from 6-7am, and after work 6-7pm. Weekends vary, summers are busy but I can make it work! Regarding my home, I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have plenty of leashes and secured leads. We live on a slow dirt road. No pet, even mine, is ever outside unattended or unleashed. Regarding your home, I will follow whatever rules are laid out for me if I am caring for your animal in their space.

About: For years I have been surrounded by animals and taking care of them. I am here to help owners who don’t have the time to give their dogs a walk or even needing pet sitting! Currently this is my only job, I only will be doing sitting or walking during the week. My routine basically depends on the animals and what client's wish me to help with or do during my hours with the animals. I can take care of lizards, dogs, and cats. I always first make sure what allergies or restrictions are needed for the pet at their home. I offer walking and pet sitting. I can come at certain times the owner needs by request to make sure the animal is safe and cared for.

This was a repeat booking of Cheyenne to drop in on my cats in my home. I have four cats including two geriatric bebes who need special care. She gives them their shots and pills and takes care of all their other little needs, and gives great updates through the visit cards. The cats seem calm and happy when we get home, and I'm pretty sure they like Cheyenne a lot! Would definitely recommend her for taking care of your cats!

About: Hey my name is Jade. I’m a stay at home girlfriend looking for cats to spoil. I grew up with a handsome feline named Marometas (spanish for cartwheel) and am looking for cats to keep me (and my boyfriend) company. We’ve love to have cats of our own but unfortunately it’s just not in our budget therefore I decided to start cat sitting so we’d have an pet at home that we can love as our own. I’m currently a stay at home girlfriend and I do all the cooking on the weekend so during the week I’m pretty free. We are flexible to whatever your needs are just send me a message and we can work it out. I’m also willing to pet sit other small animals such as rabbits or reptiles. We live in a pet friendly apartment with access to a large grassy area and a dog park just for our community. All the dogs in the community are dna registered and occasionally we’d get other animals such as deer and rabbits that pop by. I have no pets and I plan on only hosting 1 pet at a time. We don’t have any house plants that could be hazardous to animals.

We have used Morgan three times now and she has been amazing! Our dog is a senior dog with diabetes. She is deaf, blind and insulin dependent and Morgan has been great with her! She has been extremely reliable and responsive. She has also left the house in great shape each time she has stayed over. I have zero complaints.

About: This Is Not Pet Sitting. This Is Stewardship. Thoughtful, safety-first care for dogs who deserve to be deeply understood. As the owner of Noble Paw Society LLC, care is approached with intention, discernment, and deep respect for the individuality of every dog. As a certified therapy dog handler and aspiring professional dog trainer, I bring both intuitive understanding and a growing technical foundation to my work. My experience spans dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and backgrounds, supported by extensive foster work that has shaped a calm, adaptable, and safety-first approach to care. I am highly attentive to canine behavior, environmental management, and proper introductions, ensuring that every dog in my care feels secure, respected, and well-matched. Safety, structure, and emotional well-being are at the core of every service I provide. Noble Paw Society operates with a selective client model, maintaining a small, well-curated roster to ensure each dog receives elevated, personalized attention. I offer in-home boarding and house sitting, with availability primarily in the evenings and on weekends. Many of my clients are long-standing relationships built on trust, consistency, and thoughtful care. My home is a calm, dog-centered environment with a secure fenced yard and two well-socialized resident dogs, both rescues. Both are certified therapy dogs (Spring 2025 and Spring 2026). Dogs here are treated as family, with comfort, enrichment, and appropriate boundaries thoughtfully balanced. For those who value discretion, reliability, and a higher standard of care, Noble Paw Society offers a refined approach to pet sitting rooted in trust, safety, and genuine connection.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life, including part-time professional grooming and providing loving, attentive care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. My experience includes regular care for Zara and Axle (Goldendoodle/Bernedoodle), Ned (Miniature Dachshund), and Bear and Moon (Labrador Retrievers) From energetic playtime and long walks to light grooming, feeding, medication (if needed), and plenty of cuddles, I understand that every dog has unique needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently retired. I’d like to make pet care my daily/weekly routine. About: I’ve almost always had a dog for the past 24 years. Currently have a hobby farm: goats & alpacas. We have a house cat, barn cat, & hairless crazy sphynx cat. We have our Golden doodle and often our grand dog too. The dogs are all very chill. But love to play when out in the yard. I love taking pet photos and I can almost bet while I’m with your pet I will take a few photos as well. I work from home running my own business and therefore I can easily manage my schedule. . Errands can typically be run by another family member if needed. That leaves me open to accommodate most pet needs. When I am watching your pet in your home I will provide some training or work with your training needs. I can provide some stimulating games. I love taking pet photos so I can keep you updated with cute photos! When taking your pet for a walk I will be happy to follow your routine. If snacks are ok for your 4 legged family member then I’ll be happy to spoil them with some.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Laingsburg stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Laingsburg. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
