“Christina took great care of my Archie while I was out of town for the weekend. Her prices are a great deal and she took care of my puppy like he was her own. I hate leaving my baby, but Christina sent lots of pictures and always responded quickly when I reached out. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Our somewhat clingy mini aussidoodle stayed with Ali when we were out of town for a weekend. Ali did an amazing job looking after Murphy. I felt very comfortable leaving Murphy in her care. Ali is a wonderful communicator who is higly knowledgeable about dogs of every size and character. She has a clear understanding and compassion for all of her canine friends. She sent several pictures of their walks and adventures. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Murphy! I highly recommend Ali as a sitter and will definitely book with her again. Five stars!!”

“Trish is amazing! She was in constant communication while we were gone about what Mattie was up to with daily pictures and videos. I never had to worry that Mattie wasn’t being well taken care of and cared for. You can tell Trish loves every dog that comes into her home and she takes care of your dog as if it’s her own! Cannot recommend enough, we will definitely be booking Mattie again!”

“Adela was great as always! She took great care of Ollie, sent frequent pictures, and was flexible when travel plans changed. We love knowing that our dog is in good hands when we are away!”

“Robert was so helpful with Braxton! We had a last minute cancellation, and needed help with almost no notice. He replied quickly and was happy to work with us for drop off and pick up. Brax had a great time and we definitely will be reaching out again!”

“It’s difficult to find a place that will love on your pup and spoil her like you do at home — DL & Libby R gave our pup all the attention and love she needed and more. She was well taken care of and felt safe in their home. The pictures and updates made us feel at ease and will be treasured additions to our own photos. Thank you DL & Libby R!!! ?❤️?”

“I was a little nervous leaving my 8 month puppy with someone that she didn’t know for the first time but Chrissy and her family were great. Sadie got alone great Chrissy kept me updated on how Sadie was doing with pictures and messages. In fact I wasn’t sure if Sadie would want to come home. Lol definitely going to be using Chrissy again if I need to”

“My dog Dash loves going over to Rachel’s house to play with her dogs and of course to go see Rachel! She always makes sure that Dash gets enough play time and goes on plenty of walks. Dash also loves car rides and gets to tag along whenever she has quick errands to run, and he often gets spoiled with pup cups through the Starbucks drive-thru. With my permission and built trust, I have allowed her to take him anywhere to run errands, visit friends, and family. Thank you so much Rachel for taking care of Dash!”

About: We love dogs and your little one will receive lots of love and one on one attention as we welcome him or her into our home. Our little Ronnie loves to play with dogs his own size or smaller. We don't have a fenced in yard, which means we will always be playing with and alongside your dog keeping him or her safe and happy and comfortable. We love to walk your dog also so he or she will get plenty of potty breaks and time to smell and get to know our neighborhood! We only care for one dog at a time, besides our own little guy Ronnie... so the two will become best friends! Faye is a full-time stay at home dog mom and my husband Rob helps take over dog care responsibilities after and before he goes to work. We make it a team effort so your dog will always have his or her needs met and get maximum love and attention. Safety comes first with your pet. We have a home that is safe and perfect for your little dog. We will welcome them into our family and treat them gently and with compassion... realizing that it's tough being away from your owners for a few days. We will love your puppy as much as we love our own Ronnie!
About: I live on a farm back home & have over a decade of animal care of all kinds! I have many farm cats and two dogs at home, as well as two cats that live with me! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes & would love to spend time with your best friend! I would especially love to hang out with dogs as I don’t want to get my own until I can give them a fenced in yard:) My boyfriend Gabe also helps out with the pet care! I am pretty free all summer & I can give as much or as little attention as your pet requires! I’m available to do random walks throughout the day or stay full time at your residence to give 24/7 care to your pet. I would like to follow your routine as much as possible, so honestly whatever you do with your pet I will copy! It’s important to keep their routines from changing frequently!
“My dog Chloe immediately took to Ty's calm good nature. Ty has great communication and proved to be an excellent dog-sitter! He went above and beyond when he watched her an extra night and day while we were stranded from a snow storm. Would highly recommend him!”

“Shannon and her family were so amazing with our pups! We got daily updates with pictures of them enjoying their time away from home. Definitely would recommend for anyone and will return the next time we someone to watch our pups!”
About: I have had a pets my entire life, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have 2 labs and 1 golden doodle who roam the yard with our farm animals; chickens and ducks. They are kennel trained and wouldn’t be around customer pets. I have 3 kids who love learning and helping out with chores. They are in extra curricular activities but I would ensure a schedule with you before the time of watching your fur baby. My husband is home most nights and weekends (besides hunting seasons) and he works construction during the day. I am home most nights and weekends besides when I have drill with the Iowa National guard, I work full time with the guard. Our dogs currently have an underground fence but because we have one mischievous lab (Mayble) who likes to convince the other two to go on adventures, we kennel her and our youngest (Bailey, golden doodle) during working hours. Our eldest (Max) is pretty lazy and wonders our yard freely during the day and night without his collar.
“Janell & Joe ended up being a perfect fit for my miniature Schnauzer Gunther! We appreciate the quick updates and photo to set our minds at ease! Very kind and easy to work with!! Highly recommend!!”

Christina is amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. I was very uncertain about Stella’s ability to be around other dogs but Christina had patience and took a methodical approach to introducing her to the other dogs at her home. Stella had the best time and for the first time in a long time, got to socialize with other dogs. We will definitely be back.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
