“Chrissy was amazing!!! She answered our messages quickly, was great to work with, and sent us videos and pictures of our pup everyday! AND our pup had a great time staying with her!!!! We definitely recommend her to everyone and will be taking our pup back to her in the future!”

“The dogs loved their stay with Ali N. - a very dog-friendly environment and positive vibe and you could tell how happy the dogs were from the photos. Very good communication and a real dog lover.”
“This was our first time leaving our dog with anyone overnight and Josh was great! He sent multiple updates, photos and took Augie to the park a few times. I feel very comfortable leaving Augie with Josh!”

“Shannon and her family were so amazing with our pups! We got daily updates with pictures of them enjoying their time away from home. Definitely would recommend for anyone and will return the next time we someone to watch our pups!”
“It’s difficult to find a place that will love on your pup and spoil her like you do at home — DL & Libby R gave our pup all the attention and love she needed and more. She was well taken care of and felt safe in their home. The pictures and updates made us feel at ease and will be treasured additions to our own photos. Thank you DL & Libby R!!! ?❤️?”

“Robert was so helpful with Braxton! We had a last minute cancellation, and needed help with almost no notice. He replied quickly and was happy to work with us for drop off and pick up. Brax had a great time and we definitely will be reaching out again!”

“My dog Dash loves going over to Rachel’s house to play with her dogs and of course to go see Rachel! She always makes sure that Dash gets enough play time and goes on plenty of walks. Dash also loves car rides and gets to tag along whenever she has quick errands to run, and he often gets spoiled with pup cups through the Starbucks drive-thru. With my permission and built trust, I have allowed her to take him anywhere to run errands, visit friends, and family. Thank you so much Rachel for taking care of Dash!”

“Emily took care of my Bucky for 5 days while I took a trip back to my hometown. She always kept up updated and sent lots of pictures of him ! It help me feel calm and relieved knowing he was in good hands while I was away and was having so much fun with bowser and odie !! I would definitely recommend her for pet sitting your babies!”

“Nicole was great! She was communicative, reliable, and our pup was clearly well taken care of. She sent updates throughout the day which we really appreciated. Would definitely book again!”

About: I was five years old when I got my first puppy, and ever since then I’ve been in love with animals. I have a lot of experience caring for different types of animals and I would love the chance to meet and spend some time with your best friend! I currently work a full time job in Cedar Rapids, so I would love to spend time with your furry friend in the afternoons or weekends. The services that I’m currently offering are house sitting, drop-ins and walks. I would love the opportunity to come to your home and spend some time with your pet!
About: I have had a pets my entire life, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have 2 labs and 1 golden doodle who roam the yard with our farm animals; chickens and ducks. They are kennel trained and wouldn’t be around customer pets. I have 3 kids who love learning and helping out with chores. They are in extra curricular activities but I would ensure a schedule with you before the time of watching your fur baby. My husband is home most nights and weekends (besides hunting seasons) and he works construction during the day. I am home most nights and weekends besides when I have drill with the Iowa National guard, I work full time with the guard. Our dogs currently have an underground fence but because we have one mischievous lab (Mayble) who likes to convince the other two to go on adventures, we kennel her and our youngest (Bailey, golden doodle) during working hours. Our eldest (Max) is pretty lazy and wonders our yard freely during the day and night without his collar.
“Savannah was quick to communicate and accommodated our schedule. Norman settled in right away and even snuggled with her dog! Savannah is very patient and great with animals. We hope to be back in the future.”

“Alysha was the absolute best!!! We were SUPER nervous to board our dog, Benny, for the first time as he can get pretty anxious when we’re gone. Her & her husband made Benny feel right at home right away. He had a blast with them & their dog Ollie!!! He loved them! Alysha made sure to send lots of pics & videos of Benny which I’m so grateful for! She even got Benny a pup cup which he LOVES. She did a wonderful job overall and was very accommodating! We will 100% be using Alysha for Benny’s boarding in the future and would recommend highly to others. :) Thanks Alysha for taking such great care of our baby. ❤️ I’m grateful to have found such a great sitter nearby!”

Christina is amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. I was very uncertain about Stella’s ability to be around other dogs but Christina had patience and took a methodical approach to introducing her to the other dogs at her home. Stella had the best time and for the first time in a long time, got to socialize with other dogs. We will definitely be back.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
