“This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”

About: I have had a pets my entire life, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have 2 labs and 1 golden doodle who roam the yard with our farm animals; chickens and ducks. They are kennel trained and wouldn’t be around customer pets. I have 3 kids who love learning and helping out with chores. They are in extra curricular activities but I would ensure a schedule with you before the time of watching your fur baby. My husband is home most nights and weekends (besides hunting seasons) and he works construction during the day. I am home most nights and weekends besides when I have drill with the Iowa National guard, I work full time with the guard. Our dogs currently have an underground fence but because we have one mischievous lab (Mayble) who likes to convince the other two to go on adventures, we kennel her and our youngest (Bailey, golden doodle) during working hours. Our eldest (Max) is pretty lazy and wonders our yard freely during the day and night without his collar.

“Alysha was the absolute best!!! We were SUPER nervous to board our dog, Benny, for the first time as he can get pretty anxious when we’re gone. Her & her husband made Benny feel right at home right away. He had a blast with them & their dog Ollie!!! He loved them! Alysha made sure to send lots of pics & videos of Benny which I’m so grateful for! She even got Benny a pup cup which he LOVES. She did a wonderful job overall and was very accommodating! My first job as a kid was dog sitting and dog walking for a giant, senior golden retriever and a tiny, spunky papillion.
