6. Ashleigh S.

“We are first-time cat owners of a very skiddish cat, and we were really nervous about leaving her with a stranger, but Ashleigh was absolutely wonderful. She gave our cat her own room to make sure she didn't get overwhelemed by the new surroundings. Ashleigh also sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, and she even managed to get our cat to come out of hiding for pets and playing which is something no other sitter has been able to do. We will definitely be reaching out to Ashleigh first the next time we need someone to take care of our cat.”

7. Angie V.

“Angie did a fantastic job as a sitter. Her compassion, knowledge and attention to detail about animals is unparalleled. I would highly recommend Angie V.”

8. Eric W.

“Eric was fantastic! Very flexible and accommodating. He watched my dog and my moms dog at the same time. We were both very glad we found him on Rover. We already have another daycare stay booked with him.”

9. Laura U.
About: I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats and many other fur babies. I've never not had animals in my home and therefore, I consider myself very knowledgeable at reading body language and warning signs. I have experience with rescuing kittens, squirrels and bunnies and have had much success with it. Our fur babies are very used to other animals and are well socialized. We promise to treat your babes like one of our own while they are in our care! I work Monday through Thursday. I get off early on Thursdays and have a lot of vacation time so some weeks I am home all the time. We strive to get the dogs out of the house and able to run as much as possible. Almost nightly weather permitting. I have two friendly dog babies of my own to keep your pup company. We also have 3 cats. The get along nicely with each other and with other dogs/cats. I can easily crate your pup if needed but they are also more than welcome to sleep on the furniture if that's what they prefer and are potty trained. We promise to treat your fur baby like one of our own and will have as much fun as we can while they're in our care:)

18. Anna F.
About: I have experience with all ages and all sizes of dogs and cats. I grew up with cats and watched our neighbors dogs frequently when they were out of town. My grandparents had 2 Great Danes that I watched when they needed assistance and my boyfriend currently has a heeler who I watch when he is at work. My favorite place is the dog park and enjoy taking my pup there whenever I can. I’m currently working part time (2 days a week) as a nurse at UIHC. I am also a part time graduate school student so I am home studying when I’m not at work. Taking my dog on walks and to the park is what I look forward to the most in my day and gives me a good excuse to take a break! I have a 2 year old blue heeler mix who loves other dogs and would love to meet yours! I live in a spacious home with a fenced in backyard and can easily crate your dog if needed. I live in a very walkable area with a couple of parks near by.

I currently do daycare for two kids so I am at home majority of the day so I am willing to watch your pet during the day or even at night if that is what’s needed I have 2 acres of fenced in pastures and access to indoors. I have a mix of inside and outside dogs. At night they all come inside though.

20. Maria K.
“Maria has a strong love for animals and years of experience with cats, dogs, guinea pigs and hamsters. Maria is kind, responsible, dependable and trustworthy. Her experience working at both a doggy daycare and volunteering at the Iowa City animal shelter for a year each solidified her skills. She also has solid experience house training both a kitten and puppy with excellent results. Maria can read the room, kennel, or cat tree and take excellent care of your pet. I wouldn't think twice about leaving my beloved pet with Maria. Have and will again!”
