About: I have taken care of pets for neighbors, friends, and teachers of mine! I also volunteered at Watermelon Mountain Ranch in high school. I can take your dog to the park or on a walk during your lunch, or even stay with them during the weekdays. I can carry out any instructions for care that are given. About: I have had several animals over the years. Dogs, Cats, Small birds, Fish and small reptiles. All so very different. Have had curious pups, one who obtained an eye injury from our cat requiring eyedrops. Elderly dogs that have sensitive needs and care. Experienced in administrating minor meds or changing dressings if needed. Had a husky who was an escape artist, very familiar with securing yards, fencing, holes or gates. Became a fast runner too! Paid for boarding for my dogs that I was not pleased about, maybe because mine are a bit spoiled? Animals are not just pets, they are part of the family! I work during the day 8-5pm Monday through Friday. I can check on pets before and after work and any time on the weekends. Able to do night stays if needed. My dogs are crate trained for bed or mischief if it happens. They get switched every 2-4 hrs or so for potty breaks. I don’t leave them outside when weather is extreme (hot,cold or rainy). I don’t play tug a war as Caesar states it’s an aggressive game for dogs. I like to make dogs earn their treats if it’s only a simple sit…😎

About: I have been caring for animals since my childhood and have several of my own. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes, as well as with responsibilities such as administering medication, walks, special diets, etc. I work and go to school part time. I have the most freedom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, but can also periodically check on your pet on the other days of the week. I can do overnights as well. I will work with your pets needs whether that is specific feeding times, a walking schedule, or other routines that you and your pet typically do.

“Our cat really seem to enjoy having someone stop in and visit with him while we were out of town with family. Julie was very respectful of our home, always made sure our house was locked/alarmed when she left after the visit and treated our fur baby really well. She's very nice, a good communicator and was accommodating, not that we asked for a lot. She also agreed to water my plants on one of the visits during the week that we were gone. We even got adorable pictures of our cat on our Rover cards during her visits. We had a really reassuring experience having her as our pet sitter. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be contacting her for our next trip out of town.”

About: I grew up surrounded by a family of dogs and cats. Since I was a kid I have owned or taken care of puppies all the way to senior dogs. My 16 year old Brittany Spaniel recently passed away. I had her since she was a month old. I like to think I gave her an amazing adventurous life. Dogs are angels and I love spending time with them. I currently have a full time job Monday through Friday. My hours however are only 7am-2pm. Most evenings are open including weekends. I love being active outside of work so this opportunity fits well. I have a front yard surrounded by a tall adobe wall and locked gate. I have one energetic 3 year old dog at the moment who loves playing and running. I take her to a nearby field where I throw a ball and she plays fetch like crazy. My neighborhood is safe and quiet and my main priority is my dog’s safety.

He did multiple daily checks that involved several tasks, including litter management, feeding, playing, and also took care of our plants. He was easy to get ahold of and is great to work with. About: Through my life I have had many breeds of dog. Basset hound, labs, Akita, Australian shepherd and Chow Chow. Additionally I have been a secondary care taker for breeds such as Corgie, Brittany spaniel, pit bull, Belgian Shepard and Pomeranian. I work part time and take classes, and at the moment I do not have a pet of my own so I have plenty of time and energy to walk yours. I have walked dogs in many environments and areas of Albuquerque since I was a child. Safety will always come first, I keep dogs close but I am very willing to let them explore the area in a safe manner. I am very good at intervening and stopping fights between dogs and will always avoid off leash dogs while with your puppy.

“Geneva was a dream!!!!!!! My cat instantly liked her and she can often be shy with new people. Geneva took such great care of Cocina while I was gone for 2 weeks. She sent photos and videos everyday and made sure my kitty got the best care, brushes and chit chats. I would hire her again!!! THE BEST!!! 6 STARS, if you ask me. :)”

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was 5. I was made to be responsible for any pets I had, so I had to make sure I they got food, water, cleaned up after, played with, walked(once I was 10 I started doing this), gave medication, and gave them baths. I started working for a pet sitting/doggie daycare when I was 22 and Blue Buffalo pet food where I was put through pet nutrition courses. When working with the pet sitting company I did work with reactive dogs often because I have the skills to be able to work with these dogs as I myself had a very reactive dog. I can also work with puppies on basic commands. I am currently pretty open and free to come all days of the week except for Sundays. My preferred time range would be from 9am- 8pm. I will clean up after them, walk, play, cuddle, give bath if needed, administer medication, feed and make sure they have water. If it’s fish I can do tank maintenance and feed. If it’s other animals such as small animals, domestic birds, and non venomous/legal reptiles I can feed, clean enclosures, and socialize.
