I've grown up with animals my whole life, regularly assisting my mom with her own pet sitting jobs since I was about 14 years old and receiving my own clients when I became an adult. I have been employed at a local Animal Shelter since 2024, having gained lots of Fear Free handling and medicating experience with both dogs and cats. I also have 3 cats of my own and my roommate has 3 cats as well, with varying personalities/sensitivities.

I've learned Fear Free handling methods from my workplace, regularly practicing patience and reading a pet's body language to understand when they start to become uncomfortable. I will adjust to your pet's needs to make this time as comfortable as I can.

Denise did a wonderful job with Gilligan who is anxious around new people. She communicated very well and I will definitely be reaching out in the future for more house sitting.
Denise did a great job with my cats. She not only sent me pictures, but also periodic updates of how they were doing. It was clear that she loves cats and made sure they were well taken care of. I felt really good knowing she was there!

Highly, highly recommend! Denise is a caring animal lover with heaps of experience from all her work at the animal humane. My rescue felt comfortable with her very quickly and was well cared for during the week+ that I was away. On top of that, my house was in great condition when I got back. Schedule
I have full availability on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, and work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday with a set schedule from 8am-6pm. I do get an hour lunch so I can also make a quick visit during that time.
