13. Nya W.
“Nya is amazing! I was in town for a week for work and needed help with my sweet, smart, & slightly skittish little dog. She watched him for 3 of my longest & busiest work days. She responded quickly to messages. It became clear from our conversations that she takes training seriously (with her own pup) and understands the value of exercise & play in building trust and giving my pup a full and joyous day. Nya is so sweet & patient, which is exactly what my pup needed. If I’m ever back in the West Palm Beach areas Nya will be my first call. I highly recommend her!”
14. Jenny D.
“Jenny was great with Mellow, she accepted his Rover request late notice and kept him until after 9pm for us when we got into town. She reassured me he stopped whining not long after I left, and he was happy when I picked him back up. I would recommend and use Jenny again if the opportunity came up!”
15. Carrie & Charles R.
“Carrie was super helpful in helping me find wonderful pet care in our area. I had to travel suddenly and Carrie came through without hesitation. I have two bullies and one with medical needs. The time and attention she gave to my pups allowed me to feel at peace while traveling. We received updates and were reached out to when needed. Could not ask for someone more caring or attentive to look after your pets. Quality people make for quality care and this is a 10/10.”
16. Edward H.
“Ned was an amazing sitter! He was very kind and took great care of our little pup. He kept us updated throughout the day during Boofy’s stay. We will definitely be using Ned again for both sitting and training!”
17. Kelly V.
“Kelly was the best experience I’ve had on Rover. I needed day care for my 2 poodles last minute, and she responded right away that she was available. She was flexible with drop off/pick up, sent me pics immediately without me asking, and had great communication the entire time. She really saved my day and encouraged me to enjoy my trip. I will definitely be using her again if I’m ever in the area.”

About: 🚨UPDATE🚨 I’m back in the Galveston county/south Houston area! I've had experience caring for a dog ever since I was young. I grew up with a teacup-sized chihuahua and later got a pug in high school. Outside of having my own pets, friends and family rely on me to take care of their pets too! Last summer, I helped take care of my fiance's puppy, half Bernese mountain dog, and half poodle. I would take her one walks twice a day, play with her on the beach or at the park, bathe her, and feed her. My fiancée’s family has entrusted me in taking care of their Bernedoodle Bella full-time now! Don't worry, cats ARE NOT out of the picture. I grew up around different cats and feel completely comfortable with them. My aunt has had 3 different sphinxes. I'm attending online school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. I have schoolwork every Monday to Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm. However, most of my classes are asynchronous. I have one synchronous zoom call a day, but I just have to be sitting down somewhere to take notes. The great thing about doing online school is that my schedule is flexible, and I can study anywhere as long as I have my laptop! As of right now, I'm free on weekends with no other commitments! At my home, I have a fenced backyard. I will also have my own pup to keep your doggo company in October! My neighbors also have their own dogs who are friendly and not aggressive. At your home, I will ensure your pet does not go outside without my supervision. I will even drive them to a dog park/walking path to make sure where they're playing is safe and dependable. Not only will I let them have fun, but I will make sure they follow the rules you have in place for them.

About: I’ve fostered over 300 cats and dogs since 2017 through Rescued Pets Movement and BARC in Houston, TX. I’ve worked in an upscale kennel/boarding facility in the past and can easily adhere to specific routines some pets may require. I currently live near the Medical Center in Houston, TX with my male fiancée. I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life- I love all animals but have much more experience with larger dogs vs. smaller breeds. I work 100% remotely and am home generally all the time on the weekdays unless I need to run out for an hour or two, during which my personal dogs are required to be crated by my landlord. Depending upon weekend plans, my personal dogs are crated for no more than 8 hours a day while we are out and are fine with this. I am happy to not make plans on a weekend I am watching your pets if they suffer from separation anxiety or similar condition. My two personal dogs are a 6 year old male black lab mix (Avery) and a 2 year old female Great Pyrenees rescue (Kona). They are both incredibly sweet and gentle with all animals and people they encounter. Kona is a bit shy with new people but is great around other dogs and LOVES cats. All of my animals, including my two female cats, are all spayed or neutered. We also have a “senior” kitty LadyBird who is around 7-8 years old and a 5 month old Russian Blue kitten named Romy. The cats are the well established bosses of the house but please do not book with me if you have a dog that is aggressive toward people, other dogs, or cats. I work 9-5, 100% remote from my home and can take as many breaks as needed for potty breaks and usually a trip or two per week to the local dog park after working hours. My animals are big couch potatoes and love to lounge around while I work and listen to music or watch tv. We always use slip lead leashes unless we are at the fenced in dog park. Because of my remote work, I am able to maintain a quiet, relaxed and peaceful home environment that would hopefully quell some animal anxiety being in a new place.
