“Mackenzie is awesome with our older cat. He’s a lover-boy and is super social so, even though he’s on a timed feeder and self-cleaning litterbox, Mackenzie drops in to give him his furball gel and some cuddles. She’s the best!”

“We are so happy to have found Jenna on Rover. She is wonderful with our two dogs. She is reliable and very detail oriented. We felt very confident and comfortable going out of town. We looked forward to getting her reports and lots of pictures while we were away. Thank you Jenna!”

About: Not only have I worked with animals my whole life I also work with dogs specifically with a rescue organization called AdoptMeBluegrass. I help with their animal care weekly and am part of their foster program. My family and my own dogs have welcomed hundreds of others into our home and always provide excellent care. I am a local landlord and typically only go out to work at the pet adoption center for AdoptMeBluegrass. I have no set work hours. I spend my time with the dogs. I have a double fenced property on a dead end street. Dogs love the 3/4 dedicated dog yard for them to play on our 6 acres of land. We have crates and can make your pet feel right at home. I’m a treats giver so let me know if there is something they can’t have or any other dietary restrictions. I can also come to your pet for services while you are away.
“Lauren & Joseph took great care of our GSD russ while we were out on vacation! Photos of every drop-in were provided and communication was excellent. They went above and beyond by cleaning up after our dog in his backyard area!! Would definitely suggest going with them if you’re looking for exceptional care and will definitely be using them in the future!!”

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
About: When I was a kid I had Golden Retriever and then a Black Lab. Throughout college and grad school I would dog sit / walk dogs (I'm also on Wag!) when I could to make a little extra money or help out my friends and family. Two years ago, I felt ready and decided to buy a pup of my own! I now have a mini-poodle who lives in my apartment with me. I can take care of any age dog and we go for walks every day! I work throughout the week 8am -4:30pm, there are occasional nights or weekends I have to work, but for the most part my afternoons and evenings are free to walk to sit your pup! My Calendar does change monthly due to out of town work events, but I try to keep it up to date for my availability. Send me a message, If I'm in town- I'd love to watch your furry friend. I love giving lots of hugs and cuddles during the afternoon. My own dog goes out around 6-7am, and then again at 4:45pm, and one more time in the evening. She is fed twice a day and walked 1-2x daily. I'd be happy to fit your pup into this schedule too!
About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I have pet sit for my neighbors and friends many many times. I love spending my time with things I love and doing and I love spending time with animals. i'm currently not working so I have a lot of free time to make sure that the animals I am caring for are very well cared for I have a friendly cat and a fencing yard with a bunch of grass trees and shade so that your pet can stay cool while still having fun
About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!
“Heather provided us with exceptional service and kept us updated with information concerning PD. We are very happy with the services provided. Our situation is unusual since PD is a stray cat and is only comfortable with me and after a vet visit and requesting boarding the vet made it clear that boarding could do more harm to the health of PD so we had to look to alternative care which Heather provided. We can't thank her enough for keeping an eye on PD and providing daily water and food. I could breath a bit easier while away knowing Heather was monitoring PD.”
About: I have grown up around animals. My sister currently have four hamsters, a rabbit and a bearded dragon. We have six loving dogs. A mix of breads and sizes; a chihuahua(Milo), 2 King Charles (Marley&Chewy),a maltipoo (Jax/stinky boy) and two years ago I rescued a German shepherd Pit-bull mix (Luna). Luna was rescued at 24 lbs and was super nervous but now she is a healthy, strong and confident doggo. I grew up on a farm and have always had multiple dogs around. I love animals and playing with dogs outside or taking them on adventures. Dogs are so special and need great care, love and attention. We have boarded dogs from the shelter in the past. I’m currently working part time so I have open availability for dog walking or home check ins during the day and evening. I’m available during most week days and weekends. I have crates if needed and multiple varieties of leashes, harness and toys. I have a fenced in back yard for running around and playing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old! Friends, family & neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets while they are working or away on vacation! I have recently trained my two puppies, and prior to that trained my sisters dog for several years. I also have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs!
