About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and know how to treat them with care and respect. I grew up with multiple animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to pet sit as long as it’s outside my work time (usually I work 1 or 2 days a week but other than that I’m free) I will care for your pet according to whatever instructions you give me and I will of course treat your pet with kindness and the love it deserves, just as you would.
About: I've had cats and dogs throughout my life and have always loved caring for animals. Most of my experience comes from caring for my own pets and helping care for family members' pets. I've also cared for animals with special needs, including pets who need medications or special diets. I'll treat your pets with the same care and attention I'd want someone to give mine. I’m primarily available for longer visits and house sitting on weekends. For house sitting, I’m not able to stay at a client’s home continuously during weekday work hours, so I’m best suited for pets who are comfortable being alone for part of the day. I’m always upfront about my schedule so I can give every pet the attention and care they deserve. I work full time during the week, so my weekday availability is mainly early mornings and evenings. I’m also available for visits after work when they fit my commute. Weekends are when I have the most flexibility, so I can spend much more time with your pets and offer longer visits or more hands-on care. I also do school online, so I typically keep Sundays for schoolwork and planning, but im open to short check ins. I do have house sitting active because I can spend good time with your pets on the weekend when I have availability but I CAN NOT stay the night/full time at your home, I have my own pets I have to care for as well so it would be difficult. I have a fenced yard where dogs can get some supervised outdoor time, but the fence is not tall enough for me to consider it escape-proof for larger or athletic dogs. I will always supervise pets while they are outside. If you prefer your dog to stay on a leash, I’m also happy to take them for walks around my neighborhood. I’m careful about following each pet’s routine, instructions, and individual needs.

For example, when my childhood dog became overwhelmed after a stressful interaction, I took him somewhere quiet so he could calm down. During thunderstorms and fireworks, when he would tremble with fear, I would bring him somewhere comfortable and stay with him until he settled. I’m also the person at family gatherings who naturally ends up keeping an eye on the dogs—making sure they’re getting enough exercise and attention while also making sure younger kids give them appropriate space and treat them respectfully. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, bathing, and overnight care. I enjoy both tiring out an energetic dog and providing a calm presence for a nervous one. I’ve also cared for cats and generally find that they warm up to me pretty quickly. Most importantly, I will enjoy taking the time to learn your pet’s individual personality, routines, and boundaries. That way, they can establish a level of trust for when I come by on my own.
