About: During high school and throughout college, I worked as a self-employed child caregiver, offering extra services for in-home visits that included cleaning, cooking, pet care, and dog walking ! Since then, I have personally helped friends and family with pet sitting, general care, and walking. I have experience working with a wide variety of pets, including dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, rodents and small mammals, birds, smaller reptiles, fish (primarily betta and goldfish), and toads/frogs. I have a strong knowledge of dog and cat body language/general care—well enough to aid in basic training of commands such as sit, stay, lie down, heel, and drop it—and have experience in senior care, including medication administration, with an attention to detail focused on the comfort and safety of your pet. For in-home visits, I find it important to do an initial sweep upon arrival of all pet-accessible areas in the home, taking note of and minimizing potential hazards/removing safety risks in order to keep you informed and your pet out of harm’s way ! While with your pet, I will always keep them in sight (if not within reach) to catch any potential for damage to property or harm to your pet, reducing incidents and encouraging the trust of both you and your pet.

About: I am self employed with a flexible schedule. I'm a lifelong pet owner and prefer to care for cats or small dogs only (no large dogs over 50 lbs please). I'm the aunt to dog nephew Goose and have had a cat or two in my home my entire adult life. Homeowner of 18 years, stable and reliable. I own my own business and set my own hours which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I prefer to work late mornings, afternoon, and evenings (not an early riser). I would prefer to come to your residence to care for your pet(s). I can feed, water, clean litter, play, give attention, affection, and exercise them there. I can also clean up any accidents or puke. I'm more than happy to be with your pet(s) for an hour or longer.

About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of animals of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable with post-op care and administering medications. I will care for your pets as if they are my own! I am available most mornings (before 6 am), evenings (6-9 pm), Fridays, and weekends! I am interested in taking dogs for walks, drop-in visits for dogs and cats, and overnight stays to care for pets in their homes. The care and safety of your pets and home are extremely important to me, as a pet parent to four kitties, a fish, and a snail. About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was 13. I currently have a blind senior german shepherd, and guide him when needed, giving him lots of treats and love. I also have a 1 year puppy and give her frequent time out. I’m planning on working weekends whenever needed to play with doggies and give them the care they need! I can feed them, give medicine, and care for blind and senior dogs. I put my dogs before anything and make sure they have everything they need. Treats, water, food, play time, medicine, supplements, nap time and love.
