About: Hi friends, I'm JP! I’m a proud dog mom to three breeder rescues: a Mini Aussie, a powderpuff Chinese Crested, and a Border Aussie. Because I manage a mixed pack, I am totally comfortable handling dogs of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. My dogs' rescue backgrounds also mean I have plenty of hands-on experience managing leash reactivity and helping anxious pups feel secure. Professionally, I run my own business and work from home, so my daily schedule is extremely flexible for walks and drop-in visits. I'm in the Cooper Park area near Tosa and accept same day requests if within a 15 minute drive! I am also fully comfortable administering oral medications and insulin injections if your dog has special medical needs. I always say the more information you can give me, the better. I can easily step away from my desk for midday walks, extra potty breaks, or drop-in visits exactly when your pets need them. Whether you have a strict routine you want me to stick to or just need someone to pop by while you are out, I can easily build my day around what works best for you and your furry friends. I know exactly how stressful it is to leave your pets with someone new. As a rescue mom, safety is always my absolute top priority. I am hyper aware of my surroundings on walks, very comfortable managing leash reactivity, and fully capable of safely handling medical needs like insulin injections or oral medications. I am a big believer in communication and following your instructions to a tee. The more details you share about your home and your pet's quirks, the better! I will always send updates so you have total peace of mind, and I am always happy to do a meet and greet first to make sure everyone feels completely comfortable.

About: Having pets all my life has given me pet care knowledge and ability to care for pets of all ages and abilities. I have had cats, dogs, bunnies and fish (currently a single cat household) throughout the years. While in college I worked as a Vet Tech and did pet sitting for clients of the vet clinic. Your pets will be loved and cherished in your home or in mine. I provide all levels of service from dog walking, drop-in daily visits, boarding or medical care visits. About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of animals of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable with post-op care and administering medications. I will care for your pets as if they are my own! I am available most mornings (before 6 am), evenings (6-9 pm), Fridays, and weekends! I am interested in taking dogs for walks, drop-in visits for dogs and cats, and overnight stays to care for pets in their homes. The care and safety of your pets and home are extremely important to me, as a pet parent to four kitties, a fish, and a snail. About: I have had dogs my whole life. My family currently has2 dogs and one cat now. I know how it feels to leave pets alone and need someone to take care of them so I thought this would be a good way to help others. I am a teacher so I have a lot of flexibility over the summer. I can be somewhat flexible during the school year depending on my schedule. I am home during the summer since I am a teacher. We have some short family vacations we take, but for the most part I am available. During the school year I am free on the weekends. Our yard is fenced, but my dogs and cat make our house full. I am happy to visit dogs or cats, walk and play with them, and do any other care they need.

About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was 13. I currently have a blind senior german shepherd, and guide him when needed, giving him lots of treats and love. I also have a 1 year puppy and give her frequent time out. I’m planning on working weekends whenever needed to play with doggies and give them the care they need! I can feed them, give medicine, and care for blind and senior dogs. I put my dogs before anything and make sure they have everything they need. Treats, water, food, play time, medicine, supplements, nap time and love.

About: During high school and throughout college, I worked as a self-employed child caregiver, offering extra services for in-home visits that included cleaning, cooking, pet care, and dog walking ! Since then, I have personally helped friends and family with pet sitting, general care, and walking. I have experience working with a wide variety of pets, including dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, rodents and small mammals, birds, smaller reptiles, fish (primarily betta and goldfish), and toads/frogs. I have a strong knowledge of dog and cat body language/general care—well enough to aid in basic training of commands such as sit, stay, lie down, heel, and drop it—and have experience in senior care, including medication administration, with an attention to detail focused on the comfort and safety of your pet. I currently work at the Humane Society Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and some wildlife (: I am available most days I do not work with proper notice. I do offer same-day dog walking; however, immediate service is not always possible, so please reach out as early as possible to ensure availability ! For in-home visits, I find it important to do an initial sweep upon arrival of all pet-accessible areas in the home, taking note of and minimizing potential hazards/removing safety risks in order to keep you informed and your pet out of harm’s way ! While with your pet, I will always keep them in sight (if not within reach) to catch any potential for damage to property or harm to your pet, reducing incidents and encouraging the trust of both you and your pet.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 9 and currently have my own dog. I pet sit for coworkers and friends when they go out of town. I've raised puppies as well as cared for senior dogs. I work from home 3 days a week. I am able to check in on or walk dogs with my little dog on my lunch break or after work. (My dog does not join on cat appointments, but she gets along with most dogs on walks. Dog walking appointments without my own dog are possible upon request.) I have experience with dog and cat behavior, including reactive dogs. While I would like to bring my own dog along on walks you can request me not to if that is what's best for your dog. My dog does come with me for cat appointments ever.

About: I started caring for pets when I was 12 years old. I love working with dogs and spend a lot of my free time training them. I trained my own dog, who performs three tasks for me and knows 10+ additional commands. If you’re looking for a sitter or walker who might teach your dog a new trick like “shake” or reinforce commands like “stay” while they’re there, I’m your guy! I may be on the smaller side, but don’t let that fool you—I have plenty of experience with large dogs. My best friend growing up was my 200+ lb Newfoundland! I am free most days to come play with your pups and get them outside exploring the neighborhood. I am also comfortable driving a bit further for pet sitting! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m happy to follow any routines, feeding schedules, or training methods you already use. I am very calm when I first meet animals, and I even find that shy animals tend to love me as I go at each individual animal’s pace.
