Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. She even sent pictures without us asking which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. Her kids and mother were incredibly kind and Riley also got along so well with their dog, Annalise. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life as I’ve had cats and dogs from a very young age. I’m the girl at the party that goes straight to the animal in the room 🤣 I treat every animal I encounter as if they were my own. I am self employed so my schedule is very flexible. About: Grew up an animal lover with multiple dogs and cats over the course of my life. Long story short, I have experience with puppy life, shelter life, low energy, high energy, etc. I just love animals and look forward to taking care of yours I work full time as a school counselor but understand what it takes to be a healthy dog owner. This means a walk in the morning before I leave, a walk when I get home after work, and depending on a lot of other factors maybe one late maybe not. On weekends I'm a a homebody which is why I signed up for this. I will get out of the house to walk my girl or take her on an adventure to the dog park, trail walk, etc. Otherwise I like just hanging out and playing video games. My girl has a crate in the family room but I also repurposed a spare bedroom into a doggy friendly room. I wasn't using it for any reason so figured why not make it dog friendly for my girl and others. I also have a fenced in yard that I can easily let her and other dogs out. It is big enough to be able to throw a ball around as well.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, which taught me how much comfort and companionship pets bring into our lives. I’m also a devoted cat parent to my rescue cat, Monkey, who is truly like family to me. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets, knowing I treat every animal with patience and love. I have experience with birds, and reptiles as well, including caring for my sister’s indoor pigeons and leopard gecko. About: Hi, my name is Abby! I am looking for a flexible summer job before I start full-time as an auditor in the fall, and I thought animal care would be a good match! I have had many pets throughout my life. There was always at least one dog and one cat at a time, usually many more. I have a deep, genuine care for all animals, and love to give them the love and attention they deserve! This summer I am studying for my CPA license! I have some vacations sprinkled in for the summer as well, but beside those and studying for a few hours a day, I will have plenty of time to take care of and play with your pets! I am available Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, weekends and hourly exceptions available upon request! My complex unfortunately does not allow pets, so the caretaking would be happening in your home or neighborhood. I will be respectful of your house rules and rules for your pet. I will only be in your home when necessary. I will only use your pet's toys and harnesses as to not cross-contaminate with other pets. I will do my best to accommodate any other request as well.
About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was 13. I currently have a blind senior german shepherd, and guide him when needed, giving him lots of treats and love. I also have a 1 year puppy and give her frequent time out. I’m planning on working weekends whenever needed to play with doggies and give them the care they need! I can feed them, give medicine, and care for blind and senior dogs. I put my dogs before anything and make sure they have everything they need. Treats, water, food, play time, medicine, supplements, nap time and love.
