About: I am great with animals, I'm also a big fan of animals in general. Many weekends you can find me at the zoo, and I know an unnecessary amount of animal fun facts. I grew up with a cat, dog, and my own tropical fish aquarium. I have plenty experience walking dogs, both my own, and dogs belonging to members of the community in NYC. I have a pampered pet cat, and know that they shouldn't be treated the same as dogs. Just let me know! Each animal is unique to each household, and my philosophy when it comes to animal care, is trusting that the owners know best. In other words, I follow exactly what the owners tell me to do. If you tell me that your Great Dane will only go potty if I spin around in circles 3 times, then it looks like I'm spinning. When it comes to animals trusting me, I understand that trust isn't inherent. Generally it come from the correct tone, getting on their level, and as many pats and treats as necessary.

“Dana did a fantastic job with our big fur baby Apollo. She went above and beyond watching over our home. The place was spotless when we arrived home. Dana was super great about checking in with us during our trip and even allowed Apollo to FaceTime on Mother’s Day. Apollo was very well taken care of and it showed when we returned home because he is usually a high energy, very loud Red-tick hound and he was very calm and relaxed when we returned home. About: I have many animals at home and love taking care of them. I have watched and taken care of many pets throughout my childhood and find a connection with eat pet to help them trust me. I’m currently looking for a new job so I will be available at any time for your needs! I can do any time during the week besides Sundays! About: I’ve taken care of my friends’ cats in their apartment when I used to live with them. I would feed them and give them lots of snuggles and pets. I especially have experience looking after cats that have an anxious attachment issue and deal with this by offering them frequent pets and attention. Although I only have experience with cats right now, I am enthusiastic and look forward to attune my skills and increase my knowledge about dog behavior and care to look after and protect dogs and puppies. I’m currently not working so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for drop-in visits, house sittings, and dog walks on weekdays and Saturdays after 1 pm. I also offer these services on some holidays. During drop-in visits and house sitting appointments I will be more than happy to feed your dogs, give them water and refill their bowls if needed. Your dogs would never be bored because I would love to play with them and keep them in good company. I can leash your dog for walks in the park or in the neighborhood and give them treats to reward good behavior and keep them motivated. Your dogs’ safety, comfort, and well being is my top priority and I will make sure to pay attention to their needs.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. Many different kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, etc. I will treat your pet with love and kindness. I have a job where I make my own schedule. If you decide to board your pet with me, I will be on premises at all times. For boarding, I have a decent size fenced in back yard. I do have a 7 year old husky that has gone to daycare. He's been around a lot of different dogs. If your dog needs to be crated, I can do that as well. I am available to come feed your animal in your home. I can let them out and walk them if needed.

About: I’ve worked with dogs as I have 3 dogs of my own. I enjoy making the pets happy and caring for them ! I’ve cared for puppies as well, my dog has had puppies so yes I have worked with 9 puppies at a time lol. Part time would be the best. I get out of classes around 1pm everyday but after that on the weekdays and some weekends I am available too care for your dog! I enjoy playing with dogs and making them happy. As for taking them outside, feeding them, walking them, playing with them. It all works for me!

About: Animals and nature have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve been exposed to, and well acquainted to a variety of animals, including fish, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even a baby squirrel rescue! I am also a volunteer dog walker at my local shelter, which is my therapy and brings me great happiness. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. Nothing brings me more joy and happiness in life than being surrounded by the love and purity of animals. I currently have open availability. I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule and I am open to what works best for you and your pets needs. I am with my dogs all day everyday. They get all of my love and attention. I constantly monitor for potential hazards and act accordingly in order to limit any risks. Cleanliness and order is my main priority as I value a clean and tidy home. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of pets over the years. I enjoy being around animals and showing them love because they do the same for us! I have a genuine love for taking care of things if I can help it and I’m going to school to even become a nurse. I also started a house plant hobby. Taking care of things is just in my blood. I’m available more in the evenings . My schedule is flexible but inconsistent because I’m part time at my jobs but we can discuss availability if you book me to take care of your pet(s)! I have a fenced in back yard and just one cat. I’m able to keep them separated if needed. I also have my own home and it’s a smoke free one! I’m very clean and clean my home daily. I let my cat on the couches so yours will be allowed the same if they are not dirty of course.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a baby. There have always been those extra family members present in my life. As soon as I got out of the hospital when I was just born, there were our cats, Sheba and Pepper, roaming about, and by the time I was four there was also our dog, Auggie! Beyond that, I have never had a dull moment with nature’s friends. I’ve taken care of my grandma’s cats with their different medicines, litter, brushing needs, and more! My girlfriend has 2 dogs and a cat, so whenever they go on vacation, I step in to take care of them, from food to walking to play-time and everything in-between! It’s also worth noting that I also take care of my girlfriend’s frogs, fish, and gecko, so if you have swimming or reptilian friends that need taking care of, I’m your person! I am currently taking a chemistry course, so my schedule right now excludes: Monday - Wednesday from 12pm to 5pm Thursday from 12pm to 2pm Other than these times, I am completely free, including weekends! To begin, it’s worth noting that I am a patient caregiver. If your pet is shy and you’re a bit skeptical about getting someone to take care of your animals, we can set something up with them to see how we get along! It’s important to make sure they’re comfortable with me before anything is set. Anything your animal(s) needs, I will ensure that I am prepared to put the work in. All animals deserve an understanding and patient mindset. If something makes them uncomfortable, I’ll be sure to remove them from the situation or remove what is making them uncomfortable. Their safety is absolutely one of my biggest priorities, whether we are on a walk or in your own home.

About: I’ve taken care of several dogs over the years. One of the dogs was an older dog who needed me to stay at the house for two weeks and give up to 6 medications a day, so I have experience with elderly dogs. I have also watched 3 week old kittens for an entire week and had bottle feed them every 4-6 hours, so I have experience with young animals like that as well. In addition I have taken care of dogs who are very territorial, and am able to read their body language well to ensure a safe visit for me and the dog too. I’m currently working full time at UHS. Although while I’m at work your pet will be home, I have most weekends off and visit the pets right before and immediately after work. I make sure when I’m in a client’s home I’m not only kind to the animals, but to the house as well. I absolutely love all animals so I give them as much attention as I can because that’s what I would want for my pets. And I update the owner as many times as they ask me to so that they can feel at ease being away from their pet.

More recently, I watched three young golden retrievers in one household and three cats in another household. I am absolutely capable of taking care of your precious pets regardless of age, size or special needs.
