“Catherine did a phenomenal job with my 2 girls. They are getting up there in age. I usually take them to a dog boarding company whenever we go on vacation. I struggled with deciding on taking them to the boarding place vs finding someone to come to my home to check in on my girls. I've used Rover in the past. Many years ago. Good experience. I was in bed one night struggling with the decision to board or find someone. Couldn't sleep. Was dreading going ion vacation because I knew I'd worry the entire time if I decided to board. I got on Rover. Saw a few profiles that caught my eye. Then Catherine's profile appears. Her reviews were great. Her intro about who she is felt right. She came over to meet my girls. Instant feeling of relief . One of my pups is not very social. At all. But Catherine was able to gain her trust. No one has been able to do that but myself or my husband. Catherine sent detailed updates. Lots of pictures. She was and is an absolute blessing. She loved on and took care of my girls like they were her own. 5 stars are not enough. My girls got to stay home. Comfy in their own home and surroundings. Loved on every time Catherine came to check on them. Lots of belly rubs and treats. And I got to really relax and enjoy my vacation. Priceless.”

About: love all animals! I am the go to pet sitter for friends and family so I wanted to offer my skill set to the rest of the world I have a flexible schedule in afternoon/evenings available for overnights. I serve at homeless shelter/ rehab, so I like to work with people and pets! I have tall fenced in yard with grass and plenty of space. I recently bought this house in hope to share this lovely space with pets

She always goes out of her way to check for the best ingredients in their food and makes sure they receive enough stimulation throughout the day. She is extremely nurturing but always places strict and healthy boundaries in order to improve behavior. She even potty trained my cat so I would feel more than comfortable leaving my cat with her again!”

About: I have a lifetime of loving animals. Plus, from 1986 to 1998, I owned a home-based pet care business. Those days, working from home was rare. I had keys and alarm codes for homes all over my home county in Texas. I have cared for cats and dogs (including some breeders with show animals). I’ve fed horses and cleaned the stalls. I bring in the mail and newspapers, change the lighting, open and close the window coverings…these things keep your home looking occupied. You also don’t have the hassle of putting your mail and newspaper on hold. I have experience dispensing medications and trimming cat nails. I can care for pets of all ages. I work part time and have plenty of time to come to your home and care for your furry kids. My rescue dog Daisy is very friendly and is well behaved, so if you have dog(s) that would enjoy a play session, I can take her on occasion but it might depend on what else I have to do. Your pets will receive the loving care that they deserve. I don’t dash in and out. I’m observant and aware that certain situations need close attention, such as freezing weather.
