About: Pet Care Experience Hi! I’m Guadalupe. Most people call me Lupe or Lu 😊. Thanks for stopping by! What sets me apart is that I intentionally take on only a small number of pets at a time. I keep my pet count small to ensure every pet receives my full attention and a calm, stress-free stay. My Care Style (What Your Pet Can Expect) I’ve always been an animal lover and enjoy staying active with pets. I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, and quiet companionship so your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule, which allows for plenty of one-on-one time and occasional last-minute requests. I’m a great fit for: • Dogs who prefer a calm, low-stress environment • Senior dogs • Shy or anxious pets • Cat-friendly dogs preferred but not required. About My Home I live in a house with a small, enclosed yard, perfect for safe potty breaks and fresh air. Pets are welcome to relax and lounge throughout my home. I have one resident cat, a lazy, easygoing guy, and I’m happy to manage space or keep pets separated as needed so everyone feels comfortable. There are no children in the home, which helps keep the environment calm and predictable. Walks & Outdoor Time In addition to yard time, I live near parks and walking trails, so your dog will enjoy regular walks, enrichment, and plenty of sniff time. Ideal Fit I’m a great match for pet parents who value quality over quantity and want their pet to receive attentive, personalized care in a peaceful home setting. Important Notes • Please bring your pet’s food, bowls, leash, collar or harness, medications, and any comfort items needed for their stay. • For safety reasons, I’m unable to accommodate overly aggressive dogs. Your pet will be cared for with patience, kindness, and genuine attention, just like family 🤍🐾 My schedule is pretty flexible as a work-from-home. I occasionally have to go into the office but I will let you know in advance. My husband is also available in case we need to make any accommodations to our schedule. I provide a calm, attentive environment and intentionally limit the number of pets I care for so each pet receives close supervision and individualized care. In my home, pets are monitored throughout the day and cared for according to your instructions, including feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I live in a house with a small, enclosed yard for safe potty breaks and also provide regular walks. I have one calm resident cat and can manage space or keep pets separated as needed to ensure everyone stays comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and follow your routines carefully. I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for.
“I am so thankful for Mel and her family. My little dog does not do well at home alone so when my husband went into the hospital I googled doggy daycares and Rover came up and pointed me to Mel. She accepted my dog pretty last minute, my dog did great and the price was great! They even kept her until 8:30pm. The following day she was excited to go back!! We will definitely use them again.”

“Kara was a life saver with a last minute booking while we were in town and needed someone to watch our little guy for a few hours. She really seemed to want to fully understand our puppy’s needs and asked great questions that made me feel reassured that she had our pup’s best interest at the forefront. Thank you again for the flexibility and fast communication.”

“So glad my doggo and Sara are good with each other. Because of summer Valley heat it’s necessary to provide a safe place for Terra while in long appointments. Sara is a good resource. Thank you!”

“Dallas had a great day with Heather. Lots of pictures seeing him play with the other dogs ant daycare and great communication. Will definitely be back. Thank you Heather!”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all kinds! I’ve been caring for family members’ and neighbors’ dogs since I was 10 years old, and at 13, I adopted my own puppy—an experience that taught me so much about the love, patience, responsibility, and attention dogs deserve. I also had the opportunity to intern at a veterinary clinic, where I gained valuable experience bathing dogs and observing veterinary check-ups and surgeries. This experience gave me an even deeper understanding of proper pet care and the importance of keeping dogs comfortable, safe, and happy. Your dog isn’t just another booking to me—they’re family. I’ll treat your pup with the same love, patience, and care I would give my own. Whether they’re energetic and playful, calm and cuddly, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the attention, companionship, and care they deserve! Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I’m active duty, but currently on med hold with plenty of time to care for your pet(s). I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, so I’m happy to follow their normal schedule as closely as possible. I would appreciate a couple days notice if my services are needed in order to schedule around my military obligations. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications or special instructions, potty breaks, walks, and any other needs they may have. I personally have a fenced backyard and allow dogs inside. I also love providing updates and photos while watching your pet(s) so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Our 5 month old, very energetic puppy had a great playdate today, starting with a very cute “Welcome” sign, just for her. Beautiful, pet friendly home, with a fenced dog area. We got several videos of her playing throughout the day, which put our minds at ease. It was such a great experience that we’ve already booked an overnight stay.”

About: I became a dog trainer in 2007. I believe in positive reinforcement, crate training, and a family environment. Our dogs are part of the pack and never left outside. We have fostered over 300 dogs for our local rescue, Bandit's Buddies, and have never met a dog that we didn't like! I enjoy walking our dogs in the cool mornings, going to agility, and training fun tricks. Our animals are flea free, moderate energy, friendly with all dogs, and great teachers for puppies. We don’t have carpet so we don't mind helping with potty training. Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions or concerns! I work from home full-time so the dogs are never left alone. We have a doggy door so they always have access to the large back yard. We have 2 dogs that love to play and cuddle. We have two cats that come and go as they please. Fences are all secured.
“Kendra was absolutely wonderful with our Molly. She expertly won Molly over and gently introduced Molly to her sweet dogs. They had a blast together, playing non-stop! When I picked Molly up, she was a tired and very happy pup. Thank you, Kendra. We hope we can bring Molly to you on the future! Highly recommended!”
“Veronica was very responsive, took my fur-baby on short notice, I received a picture of him shortly after drop, upon pick up he was happy and all ready to go! From start to finish Veronica made all transitions smooth. 🐾”

“From start to finish, Brittney made our first experience with Rover a wonderful one! She was communicative and kind. Our golden was having a great day which made our day in the National Parks less stressful. And the pictures Brittney sent were so fun to see and gave us even more peace of mind.”

About: Hi! I'm a passionate and attentive pet caregiver with 5+ years of personal experience and 1 year of professional dog-sitting under my belt. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and energy levels—from high-energy pups who love a good run, to mellow seniors who just want a snuggle buddy. One of my own dogs experiences focal seizures, so I’m very familiar with providing calm, capable care in medical situations. I’m also experienced with administering medications (pills, drops, etc.) and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable during the process. My dog Mr. Peanutbutter has had bad experiences with larger dogs so I understand pups who need a little extra care with anxiety. I’ve worked with a variety of animals, including ducks, and I’d be happy to check in on other pets (like cats, birds, or small animals) or care for your plants while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, an energetic walk, or overnight care, I bring patience, responsibility, and plenty of love to every visit. I treat every animal like they’re my own—and I can’t wait to meet yours! Pet care is my passion and my full time focus while saving up for higher education. Pet care is what I'm focused on when not studying. I only have late night class for 2 hours 1 night a week and at home studying so I have much time to focus on specific needs. My home has a fenced yard with plenty of space to run and and play with a patio area and another fenced off pool area.
“BJ took great care of my dog, Stocky. She seemed to handle dogs so well. And she was willing to keep him longer than promised pick-up time when we were delayed due to the traffic. I'll definitely have her as a sitter when we travel the area again. Thanks!”

“Ginny and Andre were absolutely fantastic with Venus. They played fetch, gave her lots of love and let her watch animals on TV (her favorite). They also shared updates and pictures with me. So grateful! Highly recommend.”

As of August 2026, there are 302 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Kingsburg. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Kingsburg commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 302 sitters in Kingsburg, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
