About: My family has fostered dogs for the past few years, and we’ve had at least one family dog since I was born. I pet sit for my neighbors and family friends often, both cats and dogs alike, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities! On the daily I take care of my family dogs. I take them on morning walks, make sure they don’t eat each other’s food, and give them PLENTY of play time, pets, and loves! I’m also well-versed in caring for anxious dogs, as our medium-size dog is very nervous at most hours of the day. I don’t believe in using fear tactics to punish dogs, such as time-outs or spraying them with water. Instead, I promote positive behaviors by engaging with them happily and giving them treats (if permitted) when they do something they’re supposed to do! With my clients, I take pets on walks or do a scheduled play time for as long as is requested, and I make sure they’re comfortable and fed every time I visit! If overnight or all-day stay is needed for particularly clingy pets, I’m completely open to discussing hours for that, and will never leave a pet alone or push it away if it needs a person there!

“Nancy made it possible for our cats to enjoy their days just like usual during our two-week trip. Thanks to her, we were able to worry less about them while we were away. We’re so grateful for her care and kindness. If we ever need someone to look after our cats again, we would definitely ask her. Thank you, Nancy!”

“Claire was absolutely amazing with our babies! It gave us such peace of mind to know they were being well taken care of and loved. She gave us updates, but didn't have to be in constant communication. We will definitely be calling Claire again!! 🐾🐾”

About: Being a pet-sitter isn't just a way for me to make money. It's a way of life that aligns with who I am. I've always felt most at peace around animals. Growing up with pets they were more than just companions. They were part of the family. So the idea that I can combine that love for animals with something I do for work is truly fulfilling. I spent 10 beautiful, years with my partner in crime, a Great Dane named Padmé. Being a bigger dog, I feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Other than volunteering at the Young-Williams Animal Shelter where I've been trained in canine handling, this is my primary job. I am currently available Monday through Sunday starting as early as 6am until 8 pm. I am flexible and can work within your schedule. I provide a calm and quiet introduction to allow your pet to become acclimated to my presence. On walks, I allow pups ample time to sniff and explore their environment on the walk.

“Cayli took care of our last minute house sitting request to watch our 3 dogs. She took excellent care of them - keeping them happy and healthy while we were away! Would definitely book her again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Angel was an absolute angel. We had to bring our 7 month old puppy last minute on our vacation. And didn’t feel comfortable leaving her for long periods of time. Angel came to the Airbnb and stayed with her and sent lots of pics and updates. It gave me so much peace of mind.”

“This was our first time using Olivia — and let me just say, she knocked it out of the park! She watched our two Frenchies, Cash and Dino, and also took care of our home while we were away. Everything was spotless when we got back, and the pups were happy as could be. She kept us updated, sent pictures, and treated our pups and our home with so much care and respect. You’d never guess this was her first time—she handled everything like a seasoned pro. We feel so lucky to have found her and will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was little and I have volunteered with many animal shelters with walking dogs, feeding, and grooming for example. I do work full time so I can take your pet for walks on weekends and holidays from 6 am to 2 pm mostly on Saturdays and Sundays I will take your pet for potty breaks, walks, or just to stop in and love on them. If you have a cat I can always scoop the litter box or refill water

About: We have been dog parents for the past 6 years to our corgi Aspen, our terrier/collie mix Abby, and our blue heeler mix Kairi. We have experience managing pet medications, and have trained all of our pups on leash walking, sit, lay down, and other special tricks (go to your bed, shake, roll over). Leah currently works part time and creates her own work schedule, and Keoni is a nurse who works up to 3 days a week. We have plenty of time to care for your pet throughout the week! We have a newly fenced yard, perfect for playtime with the pups. We are able to provide care in your home as well. We will walk, play with, feed, and follow all care instructions in order to provide the best care to your fur child

“Kacy exceeded our expectations while house sitting and watching our dog Lucy! We received twice daily updates (with pictures and videos) and she left our house exactly how we left it. We will definitely be using her again!”

About: I am currently based in Knoxville and my nightly rate is set very low right now because I expect to ship out to the Navy around September 1st. In the meantime I am looking for steady pet sitting and housing opportunities as my current living arrangement will be changing soon. For four months I lived and worked on a glacier in Alaska caring for 280 Alaskan huskies, including plenty of puppy care. Over the years I have also worked with many friends’ pets, both dogs and cats of all personalities. The moment we lock eyes, even with the shy ones, we somehow always become instant best friends. Maybe it is because I was born in the Year of the Dog in the Chinese zodiac. It probably does not hurt. When it comes to house sitting, I will maintain a clean and tidy home, water plants as needed, and keep everything in good order. I love cats and their intuition, intelligence, and humor always amaze me. I am affectionate but firm and I do not let them get away with too much mischief. I look forward to meeting your companions and giving them the best care possible while you are away. I am currently reaching out to publishers about a novel I plan to release soon and getting ready to ship out to the Navy around September 1st. Until then, I am not working and have full-time availability, which means I can give your pets my full attention and care whenever you need. I care for pets as if they are my own, creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow any specific instructions you provide and make sure your pets feel secure and happy while maintaining the cleanliness and order of your home. I am attentive, patient, and responsive to their needs, whether it is playtime, walks, feeding, or quiet companionship.

About: Thirty years of experience of opening my home and to families that cherish and love their dogs. They’re considered beautiful guests in my home and treated with respect. I’m newly retired and home full time. Have plenty of time for walks and activities for your dog. Also, privacy if he/she requires quiet time. I have a beautiful new home with a fenced in backyard. Plenty of space to run around and play. I can also offer quiet space also.

“I just had Jataelynn house/dog sit for the first time for 6 days and she was fantastic. She took really good care of my dog Aris, was quick to communicate the whole time, and was extremely flexible when I had to change my schedule at the last minute (by 2 whole days). My pup was her happy peppy self when I got home. I'll definitely be giving her a call again next time.”

I was going through a family crisis and she handled ALL of my cats neediness. She sent me the sweetest pictures to ensure everything at home was as it should be, a happy kitty, and a clean litter. So sad she moved from OR, but I know who ever she cares for next is one lucky fur bebe. Also her doggo family is just the absolute sweetest group.”

“Both Ryan and I worked for a dog sled camp in Alaska for one season. I've seen him feed, clean up after and play with a full yard (35 dogs) when his musher wasn't around. In addition to that, Ryan is quite the runner, so Ryan is the walker for you if you have any high-energy dogs that need a challenge.”
