About: hello! my name is charlize i’m 22 i’ve grown up with animals my whole life and now i currently work at an animal hospital helping taking care of the dogs and cats that come in to see the vet. i’m very experienced with animals and taking care of animals and i love all different kinds of animals. i’ve worked at the animal hospital now for two and a half years and its been the most amazing two and a half years of my life. i am also going to school to practice becoming a veterinarian so i am really excited to meet all new furry friends for more experience. i am good with administering medication, i am good with dealing with aggressive dogs, i am good with any diabetic cat or dog with dosing insulin. you name it and i can do it!! i work part time hours at the animal hospital during the summer months and full time during fall and winter but i am extremely flexible, as i work on my terms and conditions. i am willing to fit last minute accommodation if it works with my personal schedule but i can also take time out of my day if needed to walk a dog etc. i unfortunately cannot have pets in my building but i am more than willing and able to go to anyone else’s beloved home to pet sit, or walk, or feed animals. i come in with a soft expression and wait for the animals to get used to me and my scent and then i wait for their approval to come further in their home/space. i am very careful to not touch them when they don’t want to be touched and i am always patient with animals especially if they’re new to my route.

My family had large dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for and train. I helped care for 3 litters of puppies and I trained the puppies we kept. I also had a cat who was spoiled with love and lots of playtime. I work at a school and don't work during the summer, so I am very flexible. During the school year my availability will be afternoons/evenings on weekdays. I love cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I will love your pet like my own! All dogs get a minimum of 4 walks per day with me. I have access to my back yard that I have leads attaxhed to as well. Not a fenced yard but have leads outside. Pets are allowed on my couch, they can always sleep with me if they like cuddles. I treat them as if they were my own.
