About: I have had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years, I've cared for pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels-from high energy pups who need lots of playtime to older pets who prefer a slower pace and extra TLC. I'm well versed in basic pet first aid and always pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe capable hands. I know how important peace of mind is when you're away, and i take that responsibility seriously. At home, I have a very full (and very spoiled) house-one dog, two cats, and a guinea pig- so I'm used to managing different routines personalities and needs. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I'll treat them like one of my own-with plenty of attention, care and extra belly rubs! This is currently my main focus so i have a completely open schedule to accommodate pet parents that may need me at all hours based on their needs I have access to several dog friendly parks and trails near my home as well as a crew cab truck so even the largest dogs can enjoy a ride. I also keep a dog seatbelt and pet friendly steps in the truck in case anyone needs a little extra hand getting in

Ready any time, whenever or whatever I’m your guy, I assure you I have the time and ability for it. Name a time and I be there 30 minutes ahead of schedule During my time working at a Pet daycare, I was in charge of over 30 dogs including overnight care. “Shayla has been absolutely amazing with my dog! I’ve had to make a few last-minute requests, and she has always been so accommodating and comes through for me every time. She’s reliable, caring, and very communicative, which I really appreciate. About: Hi there! I'm Lyndsay! I am a 29, and I've been doing this for 8 years, so I am very understanding of what a dog needs, and will always keep their emotions, safety and energy level all into focus for them to have the best time possible that is beneficial to them! I am known to aimlessly walk around the streets of nyc, letting the city call towards different spots it wants me to see, a perfect quality for walking lovely dogs! Now that I have moved to Flordia, I have all of this pent up energy to be around all the amazing flordia dogs that need love and care! I used to have a senior dog who passed away from cancer (bless his soul) but in his final stages, we crafted such a lovely last year of his life through love, support and comfort. This meant, taking medications, being fragile and cautious, but above all, find the love in his heart. I can't wait to meet, play and love your furry friends :) I have a very relaxed schedule, so I am easily accommodating and eager to help out! This is a full time job for me, as I have had over 200 clients over the past 8 years, juggling both this Wag! and personal clients. I have a fenced yard and 3 other dogs inside of my own family home! If they want friendship, we can have playtime. If not, I can crate my own if needed for the safety of everyone involved!

About: I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful companions: Garfield, my 10-year-old orange tabby cat, and Dexter, my energetic 2-year-old German Shepherd. I have owned various types of pets since I was a very small child - roughly 6 years old. I also frequently care for my mom’s dogs—an 11-year-old terrier mix and a 4-year-old Boston Terrier - who are both special needs. I’m comfortable juggling multiple pets with different needs and personalities while also caring for my own fur babies. I have previously owned and have plenty of experience with guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, pet chickens, and pet ducks. I have to say my favorite type of pet that I have personally owned has to be chickens. Since the age of 6 years old, I have raised chickens, gathered eggs, tended to eggs and incubators, and assisted my hens hatching and raising chicks on their own. I just find them so fascinating and adorable! The miracle of chicks hatching always fills me with so much happiness and pride! (I am interested in gaining new experience with new types of animals as well, such as sheep, cows, horses, fish, other birds, and reptiles. However, I do not have much experience with those types of animals - yet!) Pets are my top priority! I have plenty of time for your furry friend(s) within my schedule, as working with pets is my only job. I am available during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I keep my schedule updated with my current availability as often as possible, so if I happen to be fully booked or unavailable, you can see it in my calendar. My top priority is making sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved. I understand how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your fur baby, so I make it a point to keep you updated throughout each service with photos, videos, and messages. You can rest easy knowing your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I truly love all animals and have hands-on experience with cats and dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, including pets with special needs. I will ensure your fur baby gets the exercise, potty breaks, and affection they need when you are away!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was about 9 years old, and animals have truly been a lifelong passion of mine. I grew up on a ranch in Pennsylvania, where I gained hands-on experience with all kinds of farm animals as well as dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and more exotic species. Growing up, I also helped rescue and care for animals until they were healthy and able to fend for themselves again. Today, animals are still a huge part of my everyday life. I have two 15-year-old long-haired Chihuahuas, a 130-pound Sulcata tortoise, and five Fennec foxes. I am also a USDA-licensed breeder of Fennec foxes, which has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for animals at every stage of life—from newborns requiring close attention and specialized care to senior pets who need a little extra patience and TLC. Because of my experience, I’m very comfortable around animals with different personalities, sizes, ages, and care requirements. I understand how important routines are and how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care. I work full-time as a Realtor, but I’m also a full-time animal mom! Since having so many animals of my own makes traveling difficult, I often find myself caring for friends’ and family members’ pets instead—and I genuinely love it. I decided to join Rover because spending time with animals is something that truly brings me joy. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and needs time to warm up, a senior who prefers a slower pace, or simply happiest sticking to their normal routine, I’ll take the time to get to know them and make them feel comfortable and cared for. Your pets aren’t “just pets”—they’re family, and that’s exactly how I’ll treat them while they’re in my care. ❤️🐾 I make my own schedule and have a great deal of flexibility throughout the day. As a Realtor, I’m frequently driving throughout the area for work, which makes it easy for me to incorporate drop-in visits, walks, feedings, and other pet care into my daily routine. My schedule varies from day to day, so I can often accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and last-minute requests. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine whenever possible! I provide drop-in care for many different types of animals and understand that every pet has their own routine and individual needs. I can assist with feeding, fresh water, walks and potty breaks, playtime, crate or enclosure cleaning, litter boxes, and other routine care. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats as well as reptiles, birds, small animals, senior pets, newborn animals, and many exotics. I have extensive hands-on animal experience and am a USDA-licensed exotic animal breeder. When caring for pets in a client’s home, safety is always my priority. I carefully follow your instructions, respect your home, keep doors, gates, crates and enclosures secure, and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable before I leave. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
