“I was a very nervous first time puppy mom and Blake was great at giving updates and keep my mind at ease! Would highly recommend as she communicates, takes care of the pup, and my apartment. Thanks again!”

“Gina did such a great job taking care of the place and making sure I had regular updates and photos throughout my trip. It meant a lot to have that peace of mind. She is truly an animal lover and I am so glad I found her! Definitely would recommend. Excellent job!”

“I always worry my dogs will be such a handful for Erik but he always reassures me they are doing fine and he doesn't mind the chaos that is my pack! I hope he loves the dogs as much as I know they love being with him!”

“Peter was very attentive to our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Hijo. It was very clear that he made Hijo his priority and Hijo was so comfortable with him that Peter got to see some of his antics usually reserved for folks he knows well. We felt very confident Peter had everything under control while we stepped away. Jen”

“Alex went above and beyond on his first overnight with our cat TK. After an initial meeting, he asked questions to be sure he understood our cat and our house. On his visit he sent oodles of photos, our 9-yr-old TK looking completely relaxed and having fun. We returned to a happy, calm and collected cat and our house perfectly taken care of. We've already booked Alex for 2 more chunks of time later this month. Responsive, understanding, conscientious. Oh--and he's so upbeat. So glad to have him in our TK family now.”

“What a wonderful person! My dog absolutely loves her! And so do we. We felt so much better knowing our dog was with someone who would treat him like family. She even watered our garden while we were gone! She is a gem. If I could give her more stars, I would have! Thank you Susan!”
“Darla did a great job with Rudy, Evie, Boo Boo and PepperJack! I was out of country for a week and nervous to be so far away and doing Rover.com for the first time. Darla has excellent attention to detail is cares about every nuance of taking are of my furry family. Thank you Darla for doing such an awesome job! Leah”

“Rosemary was incredibly accommodating, receptive, followed instructions well, and ensured our dogs were safe and happy. I would highly recommend her and would book again. Thank you for your great care!”

“It was our first time having Mia watch our two Siberian Huskies. One can be very stand-offish and Mia understood her personality. She sent texts with pix of our happy dogs. She was a pleasure to meet and the dogs did great with a new person in the house! I will definitely use Mia again.”

About: As a fur mom myself, I treat other pets as if they were my own. I have two dogs and a cat. Two of them are seniors and I've had them since they were young. I believe in training basic commands, positive enforcement, and lots of snuggles. When I'm not pet sitting, I'm hanging out with my pups outside while they get their zoomies out. I'm comfortable with excited pups, counter surfers, and shy pups. We all have our quirks! I take care of our 3 pets (2 dogs, 1 cats) and their care is my top priority on my day to day. Feeding, training, and getting the zoomies out. I like to keep the dogs routine as much as possible. Some dogs can get anxious when someone new is introduced and I find it's best to keep things as simple and normal as possible.
About: Hello! My name is Leo, and I have been in and out of dog-related jobs since I was fifteen years old. I am only twenty years old and a college student; however, my passion for animals (specifically dogs) is what drives me the most, and I would be as committed as necessary to your pet in all cases. I would provide your pet with premium care to the fullest extent! I worked at AlphaDog Lodging (a dog boarding/daycare) for just under two years, followed by a 9-month unpaid intership at Camino Alto Veterinary Clinic. I have also recently been dog-sitting quite a bit, my longest stay being two weeks. My experience in animal care is to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a Veterinarian, and Rover gives me the opportunity to keep working hard for you and your pet! Now-June 14th 2026: Downtown Santa Cruz, free all day Tu, Th, Sat, Sun, can do nights any night, however, will be gone for four hours during the day on Mon, Wed, Fri. June 23rd - July 26th: Kenwood ONLY. Free every day, anytime. July 28th-August 28th: Downtown Santa Cruz, available all day Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun. Unfortunately, gone from 9am-4pm on Tues and Thurs (can stop by at noon though). Can do any night, if you are comfortable with your dog being alone for four hours at a time. August 28th-September 23rd: Downtown Santa Cruz, free any day, any time! Santa Cruz: I live in a studio attached to a house with a large front and back yard. Our backyard is fenced in and quite exciting for dogs to explore. We get lots of birds and squirrels, and sometimes a neighbor's cat comes by to visit. I would have your pet stay in my room on a cot, bed, or crate (I only have a cot and a small dog bed here). Kenwood: I live on a large property with my parents, where I could bring your pet home, and they could run forever. Everything is fenced in here; however would prefer bringing a smaller dog home. I am very open to staying in your home as well, for a greater price.
“I was a bit reluctant to have someone I hadn't known prior to stay in my home and care for my fur-baby. However, I was delighted with the care Nevaeh game to my dog, Bailey. She sent me pictures, kept me posted, asked me questions about his habits, brushed him and took him for walks, all of which I didn't expect! I would highly recommend Nevaeh to care for your pet. You will not be disappointed with the loving care she gives!”

“Erin is an amazing pet sitter. She’s super responsible, attentive, responsive, and empathetic, which made it so much easier for me to be away. She took care of my cat just as well as I would, following my instructions in detail and, sometimes, even exceeding my expectations. She also kept the house very clean, I came back and everything looked spotless. What I really appreciated was the communication. She sent updates and photos minimum 2-3 times a day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. On top of that, she watered my plants and even picked up my cat’s medication, which was truly above and beyond. I really appreciate her help and would definitely recommend her.”

“Julia, was the best fur baby sitter yet! Our dog Lola absolutely ❤️❤️❤️’s her so much! She gives her the happy Dance, butt wiggle, groans of joy! Our cat, gives her kisses and Julia, gives us lots of updates with photos and all. We will definitely be booking with her again. You should too!”
“Lucy was so great! We had a last-minute request that she was able to accommodate, she was great at communicating and sent us cute pics of our pup Capri, and Capri loved her! Would definitely book again (:”

“The best! She has such a gentle nature and my dog took to her right away. Brooke gave me updates on their activities and was prompt and respectful. Left my home exactly as I left it. Will be my first call next time I need a sitter.”
“If you’re thinking of trusting your pet children and/or home to someone, look no further. Victoria arrived earlier than promised and stayed later than I expected, meaning my pets were only alone for a very short time while I was out of town. Both were well loved. Enjoyed the photos and the texts. This was my first trip (overnight) away from my puppy and Victoria made it easy. Thank you!”

“Karen cared for my two cats and one dog for almost a full week while I was away, and she was absolutely amazing! It’s always hard for me to leave my pets, but she made the entire experience so much easier and stress free. She sent regular updates and lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pets were happy and well cared for. My dog has some separation anxiety and my cats can be a bit shy at first, but they all warmed up to her quickly! It was clear she took the time to really connect with them and pay attention to their individual needs. I also really appreciated how respectful she was of my home, everything was clean and well taken care of when I returned. I’m so grateful I found Karen and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”
