About: Hi there! My name is Stacia and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog owner too! Remi is a 2 years old, playful, dark yellow lab. He is fixed. I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog. I previously owned a dog with high anxiety and wasn’t friendly with strangers. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). These dogs are our best friends so I promise to take great care of yours :) If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to chat or meet prior to booking to ensure I am a good fit for your pup! I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine. I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

If I could give Lindsay 10 STARS I would!!! If you're traveling to the Annapolis area and don't know who to trust with your most precious asset - your pup (this was me!) - choose Lindsay! As you can see from all of Lindsays reviews, she is amazing with animals - its in her heart - but what makes Lindsay stands apart is her responsiveness, her communication, her ability to work with your schedule. She is so kind, and loving towards your dog, that you can enjoy your time away with peace in your heart. Thank you for everything Lindsay! <3

Kacie was just great with our pup! Even though this was our first visit, they bonded quickly and I knew he was going to have a fun day. Walks, play date with another pup and a trip to the dog park - all things wonderful for an eager playful pup. I walked away as he walked in the house with Kacie. He was happy when I picked him up - perfect day in every way. Highly recommend Kacie - your pup will be in great hands. Plus, she’s so nice and super friendly!!

About: I have many years of hands on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve worked in animal shelters and have been working at Beechnut Kennels for the past 3 years, caring for pets daily through feeding, exercise, playgroups, cleaning, and monitoring their health and behavior. I also foster cats and kittens and have experience with shy, fearful, reactive, and feral animals. I’m comfortable administering medications and using Fear Free handling techniques to keep pets as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I truly love animals and treat every pet in my care like they’re my own! I currently work part-time at Beechnut Kennels, which gives me flexibility to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. I understand the importance of consistency and will always keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With years of experience working in shelters and at Beechnut Kennels, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I have experience using Fear Free handling techniques, administering oral medications, and caring for shy, fearful, and senior pets. About: If you're looking for someone who will care for your dog like family, you're in the right place. Dogs have been a part of my life for 20+ years, and caring for them is something I truly love. I've raised and cared for three of my own rescued dogs, Mumbles, Rose, and Benny. I have experience boarding dogs in my home, providing drop-in visits, potty breaks and dog walking for neighbors, and house-sitting for a special needs dog. I've also volunteered with multiple dog rescue groups and was a foster "fail" momma to the sweetest, most sensitive Staffy you could ever meet. Dogs are family and bring me so much joy. When your dog stays with me, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home. I work from home and have flexible weekends, so your fur baby won't be left alone for long stretches. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Every dog is different, so their routine can be tailored to their individual needs and what they’re used to at home. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and well-being always come first. Your pet will be cared for in a quiet, calm home with minimal traffic, creating a peaceful environment where they can feel at ease. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets and homes, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I understand how important it is to feel confident when leaving your fur baby in someone else’s care. I will respect your dog’s routine, be attentive to their individual needs, and provide plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). Harley is a sweet, 4-year-old, 40 lb spayed female mystery mix who loves to play, especially with other dogs. We go for lots of walks each day and we like playing, learning and practicing tricks. She knows the basics and can also spin, place, go around you, and now we're practicing crawl. I think people could learn a lot from dogs if they paid more attention. I've started dog sitting for neighbors the past few years and always enjoy getting to know new dogs. One of my favorite dogs I've cared for is Goose, a 5-year-old male Chesapeake Bay retriever. I also work managing a restaurant in town and do graphic design part-time from home as well. I work managing a restaurant downtown in Annapolis, and also do freelance graphic design work from home. Except for Mondays, my shifts at the restaurant are all p.m. shifts so I'm home and available most days anytime before 3:00. I'm off from the restaurant on Tuesdays and Fridays. I currently have and have always had dogs so I'm very used to going for multiple walks a day. I live in an apartment downtown in Annapolis. We currently do not have a yard; however, we go for a lot of walks and still spend a lot of time outside at parks and just hanging out in front of the apartment to people (and dog) watch. I have a crate, and my dog is crate-trained, so if/when your pup is over, I'm prepared to separate them if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs and horses for my whole life, and I have experience with all types of animals like donkeys and goats! I’m a pre-vet student looking for more animal time! I’m an undergrad student looking to help out when I’m on breaks or have free time at school! Also available during the holidays if you’re planning on going out of town and can’t take your pet! I have a fully fenced in yard and one sweet, small dog at home! But I can divide the house and keep them separated if necessary. I love all breeds and even nervous pups!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 2,783 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Kent Point Farm. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Kent Point Farm commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,783 sitters in Kent Point Farm, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
