About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds and personalities, including Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Coonhounds, which gave me plenty of experience handling large and giant-breed dogs. I’ve also shared my home with multiple cats over the years—many of them seniors—so I understand the patience, routine, and gentle care older pets often need. I’ve spent years fostering animals as well, frequently working with senior pets and dogs that may be anxious or slow to trust new people. I pride myself on being patient and letting animals warm up to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. My home currently includes an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Border Collie mix, so daily life already revolves around exercise, enrichment, and making sure dogs stay happy and engaged. When I travel, my trips are often pet-focused—I’ve driven cross-country multiple times with my dogs to explore new trails, parks, and adventures together. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I always aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure in their own home. I have a very flexible work schedule, and can accommodate most dogs needs! I no longer offer overnight sitting, but can accommodate multiple drop ins and walks while you are gone, start long as early as 7 am and as late as 8-9 ish. About: Before joining Rover I mainly provided my services through word of mouth. I have experience with providing basic medical care for dogs and cats, and training experience including potty training and easing separation anxiety. I have vast experience and knowledge on various breeds and their specific needs, and really just love being able to have the time and availability to be able to provide these services. They say a dog is a man’s best friend, but in my case, a dog has always been a woman’s best friend! I offer dog sitting, walking, training and boarding at my home as well. I am brand new to the app but I do have plenty of references and want to make all owners feel just as comfortable as I want to ensure their pets will feel with me! I currently work a part-time job from my home, so I have a flexible schedule and able to meet any needs your pet has. I am available everyday, all hours mainly, and can accommodate you and your pets schedule! In my home all pets are welcome. I have plenty of walking trails and a back yard for pets that stay at my home. I typically will customize the walks, food, bathing etc depending on the needs of the pet and what works best for them and the owner.

About: My next door neighbor had me take care of their dog, Brownie. He was an old man, but still a good boy! I would make drop-in visits to make sure he was fed and given his medicine which he did such a good job with taking it around me, and I would also take him outside for bathroom breaks. Milo was another dog I took care of recently, and unlike Brownie, she was young, and also loud just like any other husky, but similar to Brownie, she was good girl. This time she had to live with me at my house, but she was no problem at all. I would take her outside at least two hours a day and give her walks around my neighborhood. I would also let her sleep on my bed and she'd wake me up by licking my face every morning to start the day. Feeding her wasn't a problem either. In fact, taking so much time out of my day to take care of just any other dog is never a problem for me! My recent pet care was for a Siberian Husky named Milo. After taking care of her cats, my sister asked me to take care of Milo for a friend who was away last December. Milo was a big dog, but she wasn't anything I had trouble handling. She was a fun and good girl, and I made sure she was taken outside every two hours of every day and also made sure she was given food and water and would refill both when I see that they're almost empty. Pet care comes first for me and I would take plenty of time out of my day to give pets the love and attention they need while family is away. I have a yard but it isn't fenced. However, I will be outside with your dog if they ever need to go, and keep an eye and/or leash on them if necessary. I did the same for my own dog, Macy. Unfortunately, my home doesn't have any other dogs that yours could socialize with since Macy passed away, but with me around, your baby should never feel alone! If I were to take care of your pet at your home (and if necessary), I could also tidy up the inside of your house to the point where I was never even there once you have come back from your trip.

About: I’ve taken care of various different species of dogs and cats within my neighborhood and area since I was 10! I’ve always been an animal lover so many of my neighbors counted on me to take care of their fur babies! About: My name is Taylor and I am a veterinary technician servicing the DMV area. I have been working with dogs specifically since I was 15 and cats since I was 18. I personally have a cat and have had dogs in the past, and I understand the stress put on the importance of finding someone that you can trust to watch your animals while you are away. Safety is my upmost concern and as a veterinary technician and a groomer, I am very experienced in dog and cat care and would love to babysit your little angel! My hours are not necessarily tied to a desk or computer either, so I am able to do walks freely throughout the day. Depending on the customers request, I am able to accommodate most housing accomodations. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.
