About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

About: I promise to care for your pet as I would care for my own! I am extremely attentive to my dogs and would expect the same from others. I love all animals but have also felt more connected to dogs as I grew up owning them! My dogs are well cared for and loved! As a pet owner, I plan the needs of my dogs around my tasks for the day! I always make my dogs a priority and would do the same for others! I am attentive to my dogs and understand how quickly they can wander. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. Maple was a diabetic for 7 years. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. My senior pets care needs helped build my knowledge in senior dogs. I am well educated on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Therefore I am always available for drop-ins and pup walks throughout the week and weekends. I am completely insured with $1M general liability, Animal Bailee Insurance, and Vet Protection Coverage. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own pets, like family. Play time, walks, relaxing on the couch, eating treats, you know... just hanging out.

“Veronika is the absolute best! She has watched our dog, Howie, for over one year. She is always super accommodating, allowing us to pick him up at different times according to our needs. She is always available and very responsive. She treats our dog like he is her own. She feeds him and gives him his medications. She takes excellent care of him. I would not trust my dog to anybody else. She has even watched him overnight for an entire week. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.

I have had many labs and larger dogs as well as small dogs over the years and love caring for all breeds and sizes. I take care of my neighbor’s dogs, bunny and cats when they go out of town. I treat everyone with kindness including your fur babies. A day with me your fur baby can expect to have water always available. We will take a half mile walk and play for 30 minutes. There will be opportunities for cuddles and snuggles. You will need to provide the food for your baby with instructions on how much and how often to feed. I do require that all fur babies be potty trained as I rent the space that I live in.

Very open availability because my day job allows me to choose my own schedule. And I’m very flexible and willing to accommodate to your needs.
