About: I've been caring for my own family pets for over 10 years and have also provided pet care for friends and family while they travel. I'm comfortable with daily feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, administering simple routines, cleaning up after pets, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I'm able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.

I currently have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks at my family home that each weigh over 120 pounds, so I'm very comfortable handling large, energetic breeds as well as dogs of all sizes. Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. About: My furry family has been growing since 2017! Over the years, we’ve rescued, puppy trained, and kitten trained our way to a home filled with three four-legged friends. During COVID, we spent about a year fostering animals through our local shelter. We quickly learned we weren’t the best foster parents because we ended up adopting one of the kittens from our very own litter! There are currently more animals in our home than humans, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾 My husband and I both work from home, which gives us the flexibility to provide walks, check-ins, and plenty of love and attention whenever your pets need it!
