About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with family pets & now have a little crew of my own — a mini Goldendoodle named Harvey, a Ragdoll cat named John, & two kittens I’ve raised since they were 7 weeks old. I’ve personally potty trained & crate trained Harvey, & I even litter trained John when he was a kitten - so I understand the patience & consistency that goes into good pet care. I’ve also helped care for friends’ & family members’ pets over the years, from daily check-ins & walks to full overnight boarding. I’ve even looked after a friends young puppy who needed to go out every 20 minutes — so I know how to handle high-energy or high-needs pets with calm, loving attention. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or sticking to your pet’s daily routine, I treat every animal like my own. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, & right at home while you’re away. I’m currently home full-time, which means your pets will get plenty of love & attention throughout the day. I have a very flexible routine & can easily accommodate feedings, potty breaks, & playtime around your pet’s normal schedule. I’m available for doggy daycare between 6 AM-8 PM, & offer boarding any day of the week. My home stays calm & consistent — perfect for pets who like a relaxed environment. Whether your dog needs frequent walks or your cat just wants company, I’ll be here to make sure they’re happy, safe, & comfortable all day long. I live on the second floor, & while I don’t have a yard, I do have a fenced back patio that’s safe for some fresh-air lounging (weather permitting!). Your pets will be part of my friendly, social home. My mini Goldendoodle, Harvey, is neutered & loves having playmates. My Ragdoll cat, John, enjoys the company of other cats, & my twin kittens are gentle & curious — they might keep their distance at first, especially around dogs they don’t know, but they’ve never been aggressive. Once they’re comfortable, they usually just hang out peacefully or ignore visiting pets. I’m flexible about crating based on what your dog is used to. If your pup is house-trained & comfortable being free indoors, I’m happy to let them relax like one of my own. For dogs still learning potty training or crate manners, I can safely crate them at night or if I need to step out. I even have extra crates available if you’d prefer not to bring your own. My home is calm, pet-safe, & full of love — a comfortable space for your pet to play, rest, & feel right at home while you’re away.
About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.

“Dustin is terrific! Our dog, who had undergone some minor surgery earlier in the week, was in good hands. We wanted to be sure she didn't bother her stitches, and Dustin kept a close eye on that. Tess got along well with his dogs, and the property is lovely. We had no worries with Dustin on the job!”

“Veronika has house sat for our cats and been an amazing puppy day care for our 9 week old pup. She’s our go to pet sitter because she is reliable, compassionate and a great communicator!”

“Kelly and Mark were great! Brees had a great time hanging out with their dogs. Easy communication and a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely use them again!”

“Stephanie was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Lucky was very anxious, she worked with him, kept us informed, sent pictures, and by the time we picked Lucky up, he was happy and much calmer!! We look forward to our next visits!!!!!”

About: We were both raised with pets growing up and have been pet owners of our own for 15+ years. We currently have a GoldenDoodle and she’s just another one of our kids. We both work from home so we are available 24/7 to care for whatever is needed. We live an active lifestyle and walk frequently to keep our doodle healthy. We have a GoldenDoodle that loves to play with other pets. We’re familiar with giving medication at certain times of the day if needed and working from home allows us the convenience and flexibility that pets deserve.
“I was nervous leaving Ollie since this was our first time using Rover. When we arrived, Ollie quickly started sniffing around and made himself at home. Sam took him in, making it easier to walk away. I was really happy to get a text and a picture during his stay to know that he was doing ok. When we came to pick him up, he seemed really happy. I would be comfortable leaving him with Sam and Rachel again.”

About: I always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Since graduating college, I have trained and raised 3 puppies. I currently have 6-year-old and 5-year-old Cockapoos. I am active and love to take the dogs with me on my hikes and travels. I am a homeschool mom of four, so my schedule is very flexible. I love to spend some time outside and go for a walk at least once a day. I love playing fetch and hanging out with dogs. My dogs are part of our family. I have a fenced-in backyard where they can run and play. Long walks, lots of sniffing, and getting fresh air are what happy, healthy dogs are made of.
“Honestly Tyler was GREAT. He got my girl in LAST minute and was very kind and did great with her. I would definitely recommend. My girl was a little nervous and he handled it nicely.”

“Hope took excellent care of our pup Zetta, who QUITE unexpectedly started her first (and hopefully only as her spay appointment was already scheduled when this happened) heat cycle the day we left her with Hope. Hope calmly communicated what was going on and was great about keeping Zetta. She knew I was freaked out about this starting and me not being around to monitor/take care of Zetta so she sent me several updates throughout the day. Zetta was calm and relaxed when we picked her up in the evening. Clearly she’d had a fine day.”

About: My furry family has been growing since 2017. We have rescued, puppy trained, and kitten trained and are up to 3 four legged friends in our home! We fostered animals from our local shelter for about a year during covid, however, we failed as foster parents and ended up adopting a kitten from one of our litters. There are more animals in our house then humans and we wouldn't have it any other way! My husband and I currently work from home so are available for walking/check ins whenever you need! I'm currently working full time but I work remotely so have the flexibility to come check on your animals whenever! We are also available most weekends. We have a fenced in yard, so if play time calls, they can go in and out as much as they want! We have plenty of toys and two dogs to keep them company. We also try to go on walks once or twice a day so they will get their steps in if they like to get out of the house!
About: We are an energetic family with four boys ages 6-12 who love to play! If you are looking for a safe space for your dog(s) to receive lots of love, play, belly rubs, and time outside, we would love the opportunity to share our home with your pet! We are a homeschooling family, so I am home much of the time and available to allow your pet to take frequent potty breaks and have plenty of time to play and exercise. If your dogs love kids and are eager to play, our loving family and home are a fantastic solution! We have a large fenced-in backyard (6ft. privacy fence) with plenty of room to run and chase tennis balls. Our home is comfortable and inviting. Dogs are allowed to roam on the main level and in the basement but are not permitted upstairs in the bedrooms. Well-trained pets are free to roam whenever we are out of the home during the day. Our younger children still wake up during the night, so in order to prevent any "scares" or barking, dogs must be crated at night. Owners must provide the crate. Dogs are given a final potty break around 10PM, crated, and then released from their crate around 6:30 AM and immediately taken outside to use the bathroom, then free to roam and play for the duration of the day. Whenever a dog shows any signs of wanting to go outside, they are immediately let out. If our high-energy environment becomes overwhelming for your pet, I can offer a safe, quiet space for rest. Dogs who would be a good fit in our home: -can easily tolerate (and NOT dominate) young children -love to play -enjoy lots of run time/exercise -enjoy (and don't shy away from) physical affection (i.e. belly rubs, head scratches, fully body hugs) - easily sleep in a crate at night -are not bothered by general kid energy (yelling, running, loud noises) -are not highly anxious or territorial or aggressive toward kids of any age in any way -do not chew on strewn toys, furniture, stuffed animals, etc. All feeding and any medication instructions will be strictly followed. I will provide regular updates and photos of your pet's stay with us so that you can continue to feel connected even while away.
About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone
About: I’ve owned, fostered, and done light training with dogs and cats for over 10 years now! Before I was old enough to do that, I was bringing home everyone of them I came across. I am fluent in dog body language which makes me able to effectively and efficiently communicate well with them. I believe in only positive reinforcement! My calendar is always updated and I am available full time to help care for your pet! Being around animals is truly my biggest passion. My personal pets have a set routine! I believe having a schedule for your dog is the number one way to make them feel secure. I will follow the instructions given to me for your pets routine with enthusiasm, patience, and love.

About: ABOUT ME: I have been on and off Rover since I was in college. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. Maple was a diabetic for 7 years. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. My senior pets care needs helped build my knowledge in senior dogs. I am well educated on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Therefore I am always available for drop-ins and pup walks throughout the week and weekends. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own pets, like family. Play time, walks, relaxing on the couch, eating treats, you know... just hanging out.
