About: I have been around dogs my whole life. In 2022 my husband and I got our first dog together, Bandit, and in 2023 we got Lynk. Both dogs have different energy levels so no matter what your dog is like, I will make sure your dog has a good time here! I stay at home full-time so my schedule is very flexible. Standard drop-off and pick-up time is : 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, if you need an earlier drop-off and/or later pick-up time just ask! In client’s home: Since I stay home full-time I’m able to come over every 2-3 hours for potty breaks and play time. I may have to bring my kid with me so I ask that your dog(s) are known to do well with kids. In my home: Our dogs, Lynk and Bandit, are super friendly and love meeting new friends. I have a large fenced in yard perfect for play-time. I have a covered porch and a covered seating area, perfect for relaxing in the shade! I have a kid at home so I ask that your dog is good with kids before booking. My dogs have all of their vaccines so we ask the same of your’s so we are able to keep both of our dogs safe. Also, I request that your dog is on flee and tick medication.
About: I have had dogs my whole life, and I have plenty of experience from not only volunteering at animal shelters but from helping my friends and family during their trips out of town. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and I have a senior dog myself. I have experience walking, bathing, cleaning up after them and feeding them, I am very patient, observant, and willing to help. I have plenty of time to house sit or check-in on your pets during the week, especially near the weekends, I would love to take them for nice long walks around a neighborhood or park. My pets are very kind of well behaved, I have a lot of patience and understanding when it comes to any accidents or mishaps they may cause, I would treat your pets with the exact same care and attention.

“Chelsey was a phenomenal pet sitter for my cats. Just moved to the area and she was my first pet sitter. I have 2 cats that are normally very shy and hesitant about other people but somehow she managed to make them feel safe enough to be out in the open so I’m very grateful. If you’re looking for a sitter, Chelsey is your person!”

“Caitlyn is a superstar in our eyes! We know she loves and cares for Missy & Beau as if they were her own, even though Missy barks at her the whole time! We are so lucky to have Caitlyn on our side and would recommend her to any and all. Except for when we need her! 😂”

“Had Julie booked for 18 days and was extremely happy! she made sure my cat was taken care of while I was out of town. communicated any issues and went above and beyond to vacuum spilled litter and attend to my pet’s needs and interests.”

“Stephannie was a great caretaker for our Lizzy. We got pictures, she even added on nail grinding. Once we got home, lizzy was so much less anxious than usual. I would highly recommend Stephannie!”

“Angel did amazing she took such good care of my cat and around the holidays which was very appreciated. Good communication, followed all instructions, would highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care”

“Taylor was amazing! She dropped in on our 2 dogs and 2 cats for the weekend and sent so many amazing pictures and updates each time. She was super reliable and communicative, and it honestly made it so much easier to relax knowing the pets were in good hands. She was also so thoughtful about cleaning the dogs’ paws after the rain and staying for long enough to allow the dogs to get enough play and potty time. We will definitely be using her services again the next time we go on vacation! I highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter!”

“Apryl was a charm! From the start, she was informative, reliable, and followed all our instructions, for our fur babies care. We highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog-sitter. Thank you, Apryl!”

About: I’ve been in vetmed for 11 years at a mixed animal practice. I’ve been training my Belgian Malinois and hope to take what I’ve learned with him to offer training services to others! I’m currently working full time so I will be available on the weekends. I am willing to work some availability during the week! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask!! I will offer services in your home! I feel as though pets feel more comfortable in their own environment versus somewhere completely new. I can come 3x a day and offer exercise and playtime along with feedings. I am very comfortable giving medication to pets who require it.

About: Hi! I’m Niyah. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. I’ve helped family, friends, and neighbors by feeding their pets, letting them out, playing with them, and making sure they felt comfortable while their owners were away. I’m patient, dependable, and know how important it is to treat every pet like family. I’m also building my small business, NAE Home Concierge, so providing great care and earning your trust means a lot to me. I’ll always keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know your pet is happy and in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I’m currently growing my home concierge business & going to school online, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide reliable, attentive care for your pet(s) throughout the day. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, make sure they get plenty of attention and keep you updated during every visit. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, and I’ll follow your pet’s routine to help them feel right at home. I also have a cat, but she’ll stay in a separate room during your pet’s visit to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll treat your pet like family and send regular photo updates so you always know how they’re doing.

“Darianna is my go-to sitter for my babies. She is so thorough and always makes sure to cover everything and let me know. It gives me huge peace of mind to know my girls are being taken care of with the same love and attention that I give them. My home is always respected and Darianna is so sweet and communicative about anything that may come up. I could not recommend booking this sweet woman for your pet care more!”

My work schedule is pretty flexible so my days can vary depending on your needs. I usually work evenings so mornings and early afternoons I’m almost always free! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kempner. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
