I’ve always loved being around animals, I grew up in a dog family and have always enjoyed walking dogs playing with them or sitting on the couch and snuggling with dogs. They’re truly happiness and every dog I’ve ever met has always put a smile on my face. As of right now I currently work part time so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your dogs. Do any days of the week work I’m a trustworthy and reliable person and will prioritize spending time with your animals making sure they’re happy and safe. I can only stay at a clients house as I can’t bring any pets to my place as I’m renting.
“Spencer and his partner Ruby did an amazing job with our corgi Theo! If we could give them 10 stars out of 5 for the care they gave our doggo, we would! They are very friendly and enthusiastic, Theo loved them immediately. They kept Theo safe and happy, we even had neighbors tell us how well cared for our boy was while we were on our trip. We got daily updates and pictures, which we super appreciated.”

“Izchel was amazing! It was my first time using a dog/house sitter. She took great care of my 3 standard poodles. She stayed at my house with them & everything was neat & tidy & my dogs were calm & relaxed when I got home. She kept me updated while I was away & asked questions if she needed clarification. She went above & beyond, I will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve cared for animals and pet sitting since I was very young! I have farming experience, and I love helping animals feel at peace when their owner is gone. I’ve even dealt with and more complex situations in caring for animals with medical needs. I also have a passion for chickens so if they need care while your gone I’m a great fit! I’m free on the weekends, and work remotely throughout the week, which would leave me plenty of time to play and care for your special pet! I am happy to care for your animal in their home including walks and keep care of basic house sitting needs while you are away! I love to play with pets and snuggle them if they’ll let me!
“Angela is amazing, compassionate, gentle, caring, nurturing with my family member (pet). I rarely leave my dog so was very stressed out about doing so. We had a pet meet and greet first and I knew I had found the right person. She came inside and immediately sat on the floor to meet my little dog. Angela sent me photos and videos and when I returned, my dog was quite happy to be around her. This showed me, we made the right decision. End your anxiety and stress, use Angela. Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely fabulous! Ashley kept us up to date with messages and photos, our dog was happy and having him well taken care of put us at ease. We feel so lucky to have found Ashley!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve personally cared for dogs, cats, and small animals throughout my life, and my experience extends well beyond pet ownership. I hold a degree in biology with coursework focused on animal behavior, physiology, and research. This background helps me better understand animal body language, behavior, and individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide variety of species, including exotic hoofstock and birds in a zoological setting, as well as pigs, goats, and birds through wildlife rescue and animal care work. In addition, I spent approximately three years working in an animal shelter environment, where I handled and photographed thousands of dogs to help them find loving homes. Through that experience, I learned how to safely interact with dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, energetic, a senior, or requires a little extra patience, I strive to provide attentive, reliable care tailored to their individual personality and routine. I’m a small business owner and public school teacher, which gives me a structured but flexible schedule that works well for pet care. I currently have more availability during weekends, school holidays, and breaks (especially during the summer months), when I can offer extended and consistent care for pets and house sitting. During the school year on regular weekdays, I’m typically available in the mornings and evenings, with greater flexibility on weekends. I’m happy to discuss specific dates and needs to see what works best for your pet’s routine. I care deeply about consistency and communication, so pets feel settled, safe, and well cared for, and owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine in the environment where they feel most comfortable. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure feeding, walks, medication, and daily routines are completed on time and as directed. I treat every home with a high level of respect and care, keeping spaces clean, organized, and exactly as I found them. I’m mindful of both the pet’s needs and the owner’s home, and I prioritize reliability, safety, and consistency in every visit or stay. I also believe clear communication is essential, so I provide updates as needed to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.
“Chelsea is great! Animals were instantly in love with her. She’s very kind and loving to my high maintenance pups. Chelsea sent pics and was good about communicating with me. And the house was clean when we got home. So thankful we chose Chelsea !! I didn’t worry at all.”

“Amy was available at the last minute. She was able to work around her schedule to accommodate my request. She did a great job! My cat warmed up to her, which is no easy feat. I would use her again.”

“Samantha was great with our pup. Took her to the park multiple times to run around, gave us regular updates, and left the house as clean as we left it. Will definitely use her again.”

About: I'm a friendly 32 year old animal lover. My husband and I spent years fostering cats, and now have a kitty of our own (we found her in a tree when we moved to the island a year ago). I grew up with dogs, and frequently care for my brother's dog (she's a classic island dog - mid-sized, mixed breed). I'm especially excited to take your pets on walks - even cats if they're up for it! I like jungle hikes and beach walks of all sorts. Of course for older dogs, I’m always on board for some relaxed cuddle time too. I also have several years of nanny experience, babysitting and house sitting. Happy to take care of other types of pets, or your children too (find me on Care)! I have another gig Monday-Thursday, 6am-2pm. Otherwise free! hit me up earlier for weekends, as I tend to make plans ahead of time. You'll find me caring for my kitty all hours of the day and often caring for my brother's dog (we all live on the same property). Giving them lots of love! I'd love to cuddle with your pets, but I also know how to take care of those that can be nervous or shy (I have a ton of experience with that from fostering). I also have lots of experience giving meds to pets. I'll certainly give them the best care possible.

Kealia pet parents share their Rover experiences
Heather & Don were amazing! Our pup gets very anxious and typically cries for DAYS while we’re away. And they made such a good connection with him & took great care of him. He didn’t seem to miss us at all from day one! And we’re so glad. They sent us daily photos & seemed to have an amazing time together. They left the house impeccable. We would gladly refer them to everyone we know!
