We’re patient, dependable, and treat every pet and home with the same care and respect we would our own. Don (Paul) is a retired USCG 100 ton boat captain, and Heather works remotely for a nonprofit on the Big Island of Hawaii, which gives us the flexibility to spend lots of quality time with the pets in our care. We bring over 40 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to horses, cows, and chickens. We also take pride in keeping a very clean and tidy home environment while we stay. We’ve built wonderful relationships with repeat clients and would love the opportunity to care for your pets too!

We care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable and follow your routines as closely as possible. Because we have flexible schedules, we’re able to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. Our goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.

Heather and Paul recently took care of my two fur babies for two weeks. They were AMAZING! They took them on daily adventure (walks, swims and even paddleboarding!), showered them with love and snuggles, and sent daily photos and updates. I came home to a spotless home and happy dogs! I will definitely book them again and again!
Heather & Don were wonderful. They took amazing care of our little dog with separation anxiety. They made him feel at home, gave him lots of treats & were able to make him feel calm. We would highly recommend them to everyone!
Heather and Paul took care of our house, dog and two cats while we were away for three weeks. They provided daily photos and communications, and when we returned the house was in perfect condition, clean and picked up. They took great of our pets and we were very pleased!
Heather & Don were amazing! Our pup gets very anxious and typically cries for DAYS while we’re away. And they made such a good connection with him & took great care of him. He didn’t seem to miss us at all from day one! And we’re so glad. They sent us daily photos & seemed to have an amazing time together. They left the house impeccable. We would gladly refer them to everyone we know!
Heather was attentive to Izzy who looked happy in her daily pics! Our home was also well cared for and was clean and tidy when we returned. Heather was flexible on timing on the first day when we had to leave the house super early. We came home a day early, but we’re happy to leave the fee for her. Until next time have a wonderful year!

Schedule
Because Don (Paul) is retired and Heather works remotely, pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine. While staying in your home, we’re typically around most of the time and rarely away for long periods. We enjoy cooking at home, quiet evenings, and creating a calm, consistent environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
