About: If your smaller non-shedding dog (up to 40 lbs) does not like other pets, I'm your sitter! There are no other pets in the house, and I specialize in dogs who do not like other animals. Have owned and loved dogs my entire adult life. In retirement I've chosen not to own one, but I miss those little guys so much and would love to love on your precious pet. I am retired and can fully care for your smaller (up to 40#), potty-trained, non-shedding dog. On weekends in the summer I may talk to you about your friend joining me at my camper. I will provide care for your smaller non-shedding dog without other animals in my home. Perfect for those cuddlers who would rather not have competition for my attention!

About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals at various ages/health levels/behavioral attitudes. I see every animal as an individual requiring specific care and love to learn about what makes them each unique. I grew up caring for chickens, had a dog in agility, along with a pet parakeet. I lived in Myanmar during peace corps and quickly became known as the "cat house" because all the stray cats would go in and out of my house--and I ended up caring for 3 litters of kittens alongside the mothers (thankfully getting them both spayed). I've done some fostering and overnight pet-sitting, and would meet your pets needs wherever they're at! I will be substitute teaching starting in the fall, so before that my schedule will be quite flexible, then afterwards I’ll still be available and flexible (I don’t plan to sub every day as I’m also an online student) but wouldn’t always be able to do midday visits. However, just ask! I only provide care in the pets' habitats as I can't guarantee my cats would get along with all animals, but I promise to leave the house looking the same as it did when I came in, use the appropriate leash/harnesses on walks, and keep litter boxes clean.

“Ellie was very professional, polite, trustworthy, and has a great head on her shoulders. I knew as soon as we met that she was the right fit for my boys. She was really flexible with her availability too. I have 2 cats and one is very outgoing and one is shy at first. He felt comfortable coming out to eat and get pets when Ellie came. She has excellent communication skills, followed directions and asked questions when necessary. We would definitely use Ellie's services again. We had a great experience using Rover for the first time also. We have used multiple different friends, some who even have cats, in the past, but they did not meet our expectations or quantity standards. Ellie was the opposite of our previous experiences and really did a fantastic job. The cats really liked her. She gave them treats, pate with their probiotics, opened the sliding door to give the boys fresh air and a nice view of the grass, birds, and pond out back. It was a wonderful idea and much appreciated!!! The cats both love looking outside and bird watching. I would highly recommend you give Ellie a chance and let her take care of your pet(s). About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted a miniature schnauzer. Even before then, we had everything from hamsters to fish and the like, kid pets, ya know? Following our dog’s passing, I’ve helped care for a senior cat that my parents had and also three different orange cats that my wife and I have shared over the last three years! Being a cat owner, there isn’t too much of my non-work daily or weekly schedule that isn’t taking care of them: cleaning the litter box, keeping their automatic feeder and water filled, giving them wet food and playing with them! Caring for your cats animals as I have in the past will fight right in with my schedule, and I can’t wait to work with you! I always make sure to take myself on a walk daily, and I’d love to take your best friend with me! I get in 1-2 miles daily, but I am willing to adjust this to fit your pets needs. In your home I’d love to feed, spend time and play with, and care for your pet.

About: I adore dogs! I have had a dog since I was born. He was easily my best friend. I would take him to daily walks, pick up his business, give him food and water and of course, treats and lots and lots of playtime! Most importantly, I love to dog sit for my friends. I think it's so important that each dog is loved and feels special. I am currently working part-time, so nights and weekends work best! I typically get done with work mid afternoon, so closer to dinner time is even better. When I am caring for pets are owner's home, I plan to be there with the pet the whole time. However long of a walk you need, I will do it! You can trust me to keep feeding schedules on time, clean up after your pet and tucker your pet out with plenty of play time.

About: I had a dog and cats growing up but as an adult I rescued a German Shephard Mix named Jaxon. I learned a lot just taking care of him but I got a job at Wags and Whiskers Pet Resort and worked with a wide variety of dogs from small to large and a range of behaviors. I feel like working with dogs is a gift I got from God and I'm able to work well with them and like them more than most humans. I'm caring and compassionate and always do what's best for the dog. I can provide treats for the dogs based on if there are allergies or not and can take good pictures of the dogs as I have experience doing it at the pet resort and could send you them while you are away from them! I work during the day during the week but nights and weekends I will be free to stop in and check on your dog or whatever you need. I cannot have any more animals where I live since I live in an apartment but would be able to at the customer's home. My dog has a kennel at home for when I'm gone, he feels safer in there with the noise from the apartment building. We play in the apartment and outside and go on long walks and hikes often!

About: Since I was four I took care of my own dog who recently passed. I am looking to fulfill my growing need to love for and take care of animals. I volunteer at my local animal shelter where I watch cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. I have dogsat dogs as big as Newfoundlands and as small at Shih Tzus. I currently have two jobs and I am going to college in the fall but I am looking for this to be an end of summer job. I know how to use crates, gates, and doors needed for blocking the pets off or keeping them contained. I also know basic safety for dogs and cats as I had to be trained to volunteer at my animal shelter.
