About: I have had several dogs ever since I was young, and I continue to care for my two dogs when I return home from university. I am in charge of feeding them, taking them outside, and bathing them, when necessary. I am tentatively planning to reapply for my summer retail job, so my schedule may vary. My summer break will begin soon, so I will not be working immediately, so I will have plenty of time every day for pet care. My family has a fenced yard with plenty of space for a dog to run around. We also have two Labrador retrievers who love to play with other dogs.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats of all ages since I was about 10 years old! I am also a certified veterinary assistant! I understand the importance of taking care of your pets- they are family! I will do whatever is needed to meet their accommodations or needs! I recently graduated from SIUE with my Bachelors degree and am currently job searching/taking a little time off, so I have complete open availability as far as my schedule goes! I am open to staying the night somewhere if that’s needed! I am more than willing to come to your residence to take care of any type/number of pets! I have my own car so I have reliable transportation. I don’t mind taking them out as much as needed to go for walks or to the bathroom, as well as just playing with them / keeping an eye on them indoors!
“This is my first time using Rover for my senior dog and Keena is wonderful. She has always been on time, takes him for the full time booked and Charlie is happy when she brings him back. I will continue to use her.”

I am more than happy to provide it. I am very flexible and willing to work out whatever suits you and your pet the best. We have fenced yard and one friendly spayed female dog Willow. We also have two cats and a baby. Dogs have to be friendly. Our yard is 0.5 acre, loads of room to roam. Recently we removed our old swimming pool so now there is even more space for the animals to run. Your pet will be always supervised. If your pet stays at my house you need to provide their food. I would also recommend to bring their blanket or a favourite toy to help with the transition. If your pet is used to sleeping in a crate please bring your crate too or let me know ahead so I can make sure my crate is available. I can provide treats, blankets, bowls and toys. All pets sleep inside the home.
“Rachel great! We really appreciate her willingness to regularly walk two dogs, both of which need to learn a bit more leash etiquette. We highly recommend Rachel for your pet care needs!”
About: I am a big animal lover and I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I could remember! I am very comfortable around dogs and I am willing to adapt to how to best take care of your pupper! I would love to take them on walks around the neighborhood and to the dog parks so they could interact with other dogs while you’re away. As a side note, I have a pup of my own - an energetic miniature poodle who loves walks and cuddling. I am available on the weekends if you want to take a trip or on weekday evenings after 5:30 if you have a date night or need a night away! I provide dog walks, enrichment activities, and of course- lots of snuggles- during my care routine for dogs. Dog walks typically include 30 minute walks around the neighborhood to give your dog mental stimulation and get some sniffs in. Drop ins include potty breaks, feeding, medication (if needed), and lots of pets and belly rubs!
“Iggy loved Megan. Iggy is not an easy walk (stubborn) but Megan showed infinite patience to get him well exercised. The bonus is Megan's deep knowledge of all things dog related so you know your buddy is in sure hands at all times.”

About: I have had my own pets since I was a young child. I have taken care of many of my friends, family, neighbors, and church members pets over the years. I love dogs and kitties and believe they deserve to be well taken care of. They depend on us to be good to them and are at our mercy. If they are mistreated they can't say anything. About: What sets me apart is my patience, flexibility, and genuine love for animals. I understand that pets, like people, need time to warm up, so I always work on their schedule — not mine. As a mom of two college students, caring for pets fills my heart and time with purpose. I’m dependable, respectful of your home, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and understood. As a flexible part-time worker, I don’t mind driving or going the extra mile to make sure your home and pets are cared for like family I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a calm, loving environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I take time to earn their trust, give them space when needed, and show affection when they’re ready. About: Hi! I’m Gaby, a full-time professional pet sitter and lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals isn’t a side job for me, it’s full time job and passion! One of the biggest benefits of booking with me is that I do this full-time, which means your pets receive far more attention, companionship, and supervision than they would with sitters who work traditional 9–5 jobs or are in and out all day. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches of the day, and their comfort, safety, and routine will always be my top priority. I have professional experience working in daycare and boarding environments, including Kennelwood Animal Resort and Y Bark Alone. Through that experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable administering medications (both oral and injections), handling puppies, seniors, and special-needs pets, and recognizing signs that a pet may be stressed, anxious, or unwell. When I watch your babies, they aren’t just another booking. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the individualized care they deserve. You’ll receive tons of pupdates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. My goal is to become the sitter you can rely on whenever you need help, a trusted person who treats your pets like family and provides the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own! I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies!🐶🐾 Rover is my full time job at the moment so my schedule is very open to give your pet the proper time and attention they deserve. How I care for your fur baby is completely contingent on the owner. I follow all guidelines they have set in place whatever those may be. But you can trust they are always in the best of hands.

About: What sets me apart from others is that I have fostered many dogs and cats in the recent past. I have 5 animals of my own including 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have a special interest and love for animals and will always provide the best care. I also have a lot of training on dog body language and am currently in school to be a dog groomer! I’m currently self employed. So I have plenty of time to play, walk or care for your sweet babies. I hope I can be considered! I pride myself in my knowledge and skills when it comes to animals and if I am doing a stay in visit I’m confident I can follow any and all directions I’m given. As well as when walking your furry family member. I will take any and all safety precautions.
About: I have 14 years of dog handling experience. I have participated in my local 4-H dog care and training group for 10 years and local FFA ( Future Farmers of America) chapter for 4 years. Between 4-H and FFA, I have received many awards for my dedication for dog care. Within the years, I have interacted with different temperaments from reactive to calm. I am currently working towards a degree in Animal Health. I currently have an internship at a local farm. I have a weekly routine set up, that does not interfere with my internship; and your dog is able to have the best experience. Taking care of pets require routine, animals thrive with the stability a routine provides. Pets also need enrichment, which can be play sessions, clean areas, attention, and walks. A pet- proof home helps with safety and well- being of the pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
