About: Hi! I'm a retired law enforcement officer with a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds—from cats and dogs to rats, fish, and even snakes. For the past nine years, I’ve specialized in in-home training for dogs preparing to become service animals, and I currently share my home with three beloved cats. I have been a volunteer with Paws and Claws for the past two years. I bring a calm, dependable presence, a strong sense of responsibility, and a deep understanding of animal behavior to every pet I care for. Whether it’s a playful walk, quiet companionship, or specialized attention, I truly enjoy giving pets the care and engagement they deserve. I’m recently retired and excited to begin a new chapter doing something I truly love—caring for animals. I am available mornings, afternoon, and evenings, Monday - Friday and some weekends. I provide loving, attentive care to your pets while closely following any special instructions you share. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I can remember. I’ve always had them in my home growing up and now I have a dog of my own. I also had smaller pets such as hamsters and gerbils as well as fish and hermit crabs. I love going for walks with pets or even spending time with them in your home so they feel comfortable. I work full time for the Rochester Public Schools as a Mental Health Practitioner, so I have summers off. My availability during the school year is weekdays I am available 4pm and after, and weekends I am wide open. Summertime I am available and free to fit you and your pet’s needs. I know how it feels to have something pop up last minute and have to stress on what to do with your pet, so I am more than happy to work with you on such short notice. Currently only accepting requests within the Kasson, Byron, Hayfield, Dodge Center area due to my kid’s daily schedules. I have two sweet boys, along with a cat. I know how different each dog’s personality and needs are, so I am happy to work with their routine and their comfort level. I like to make sure that there is as much normalcy for them as possible.

About: I have cared for everything from puppies to senior dogs as well as cats, small mammals (guinea pigs, hamsters, etc), and lizards. Each animal has such personality that I am excited to learn. During the school year (September-May) I am available evenings and weekends. During the summer (June-august) I have way more flexibility and can work with your needs. I unfortunately cannot take care of any fury animals in my home due to my family members allergies. However, I will follow whatever guidelines you may have.

About: I saw this quote that said, “Listen, I am not a cat or a dog person, I am an animal person. I would pet a crocodile if I knew it wouldn’t eat me.” This quote spoke to me on a personal level😂 My boyfriend and I live in a townhome and both will help out with the pups! We can’t wait to hopefully work with you and give alllll our love to your fur babies❤️ I have a very flexible schedule during the week allowing me to work around anything usually. My boyfriend works full-time Monday through Friday but has a one hour break each day. We have a miniature pinscher/fox terrier mix pup whose name is Scout and then we have Hughie, our spaniel mix rescue, and they absolutely love other animals.

About: I have a patiences and love for animals! I am very comfortable walking, grooming, and loving all types of pets. I have worked with dogs (puppies and seniors), reptiles, fish and cats. I have a lot of availability during the day. I do not work a traditional 9-5 job and have flexibility to focus on your pets. I focus on the safety and joy of your pet! I will follow any requests for your animal and your home. I have one dog and three cats to keep all pets company but all are easily blocked off if any animals are overwhelmed.

About: My husband and I are both dog-people! We have a fenced in yard with our split level home. We have less than an acre but it’s a great yard. We have a standard poodle who loves making new friends! Our daughters are 9 years old and younger but are taught to treat all animals with love, respect, and space. I work in the Kasson-Mantorville school district, and my husband works from home. We both are done with work before 4 every day so we have a lot of extra time for dogs. In the summer I am home all day. We’ve got a fenced in yard that works great for medium-large sized dogs. If you have a smaller dog we may still tie them out when we let them outside as they may be able to sneak through the fence!

I share my home with several of my own friendly dogs(in all sizes), which means visiting pets always have built-in playmates! I have the ability to crate any of my dogs if necessary. About: Love being able to take your pets out on adventures and being able to explore the wilderness. Your dogs will be able to meet my dog and play. They will be let out when needed and fed when needed I’m currently attending a community college near home, and have plenty of time to take care of pets. I take my pet out regularly for walks and play time. Love to take your furry friends out to explore! I have a huge wide open yard with plenty of room to run around and play. If needed, we have long and short leashes! Neighborhood is big and will allow for long adventurous walks!

About: I do have one cat, she is two years old. I have grown up with dogs, 1-2 dogs always in the house. I have 3 kids ages 2,2, and 5, they have been around animals since they were born. They love animals and do really well with them. I have a busy schedule during the week, but looking to help out on the weekends when I can. My kids enjoy the extra company. My backyard is fenced in. Pets can be allowed on the furniture, but will adjust to the clients instructions. I can crate them as well.

About: I've always had dogs and cats growing up, and continued to own my own through adulthood. I have watched friends and family members pets. I have owned and cared for dogs of all sizes. I have used positive reinforcement training using a clicker and treats with all of my dogs. I have also completed reactive dog training using a clicker with my dog, Blu. I have experience with medications as my dog, Ruby, takes oral and topical meds. I am looking to care for pets outside of my full time work schedule. I have one day off every two weeks, and have most evenings off. I keep my dogs on a leash when out and walking. I crate my dogs when I leave the house. I am open to whatever methods work for your pets.

About: I’ve been around and taken care of animals all my life especially dogs! I couldn’t imagine my life without them! They truly are a part of the family! I work remotely and am home day and night unless I’m transporting my kids to activities or events. This makes for a very flexible schedule to take care of pets! I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for running and playing. I have 3 dogs to help keep your pet company! I also have dog beds for resting and a foldable crate stored in case it’s needed.
