Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) About: I have always been around animals and have had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, and even birds. I really enjoy taking care of all animals and providing excellent service. My family has a bird, two shih tzus, and a cat. I have frequently been around bigger breeds as well so I am comfortable with any-sized pet. About: I work from home. I have a small backyard and a park nearby with a walking path. I have 3 children who are good around pets. We have one dog of our own who is a 70lb, 12 year old female. My experience comes from my own pets and checking on friend’s pets while they are away. I am available in the mornings before work, can be flexible about lunch and breaks to leave and check on pets and end my work day at 5 (Mon-Fri). If I go into work, it is often on a Wednesday and my parents come check on my dog while I am away for the day. My home: I have a fenced yard, 1 older dog, and gates in the house to keep the dogs on the main floor. I do not have a crate or dog toys. My dog prefers long walks, scratches and a good nap. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”
About: My name is Jessa and I am a 30 year old female. I have always been an animal lover and have had cats and dogs since I was 8 years old. I would love the opportunity to help out in your pet care needs. I have a fully fenced in back yard and a great neighborhood for walks! Let me know if you think it would be a good fit and you can contact me! It is me and my mom in the home, so good availability around the clock 😁 I work Monday- Friday 8 hour shifts. I'm available any day, but if dog sitting or doing doggy daycare during those days, the potty breaks would be 8 hour span while I'm at work. I'll give them my full attention and make sure they are well cared for 😁 I have always been an animal lover and want them to be as comfortable as possible!
