Oh my gosh! Bo went so far above and beyond, I'd give him 15 stars if I could. We were camping at a RV park in Zion for the July 4th weekend. Bo stopped by the campground before we even arrived to scout it out and see where he could walk our 3 dogs. Then he came back when we arrived to meet us and our dogs, and get a key from our RV. He spent 30 minutes giving all sorts of great recommendations on places to go and hikes to do while we were there. Then when one of our dogs somehow got into a bush full of ants, Bo spent at least 30 minutes removing ants before he put our dog back in our RV. In the process, he noticed some possible medical issues (possible tick bites) and sent us photos and a note explaining what had happened. And this might be something that all pet sitters on Rover do, but Bo also logged a map of where he walked our dogs, took photos each time, and even logged how many times each dog pissed, pooped, and had a water break. I'm not sure how he was able to do all that while walking 3 dogs at the same time, but he did. And Bo was amazing about communicating with us throughout the weekend as our plans changed. I will absolutely use Bo again the next time I'm in that area and recommend him without hesitation.

Misty was able to help us out on pretty short notice. Our two small dogs were happy with her visits & walks around the neighborhood. Next time we are in Kanab I will definitely call Misty if we need pet care.

About: I have experience caring for large and small animals. I have worked with senior, special needs, reactive, aggressive, and shy animals. Previously, I have fostered puppies and kittens. I can administer meds orally or subcutaneously. Every animal is an individual and I care for them as such. I am currently working various labor contracts so my schedule is flexible. I am available for multiple visits throughout the day or just dropping by for walks. I can do a variety of tasks during a drop in visit, whether it's feeding, letting a dog out to potty or administering medication. My experience allows me to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels.

Kylie is an excellent sitter! She was very thorough in wanting to meet Kali first to make sure they got along. She answered all our questions and had minimal requests of us (hydrogen peroxide available in case of an emergency). She sent me photos of my pup and spent an adequate amount of time with her on her visits. We would recommend Kylie to our friends and family!

We are visiting Kanab from out of town and found ourselves with tickets to The Wave hike and decided not to bring our dogs. We found Lori on Rover and she was a godsend! One of our dogs is crazy and barks at everything and everyone, and Lori managed to let herself into our rental house and charm the crazy dog! It was great knowing that our dogs were taken care of while we were out exploring. Thanks, Lori!

Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of our Winnie girl! She came for a meet and greet and I could tell right away that our pup would be well cared for while we were out for the day exploring. If you are in Kanab and have a long day away from your pet, Sarah will do a great job! Rover.com was a fantastic way to find reliable pet sitting!

About: Visiting the national parks in Southern Utah? If you are visiting the national parks, your family can relax and enjoy the area. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I will make sure your dog feels right at home. We also have experience with shy and unconfident dogs and rescues. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! My normal hours are 6 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week. We can care for your pet with confidence when you are visiting Zion National Park and North Rim of the Grand Canyon and other parks around Kanab! We take dogs outside for potty breaks every 1 to 2 hours. During the summer months my house is air-conditioned and there are lots of doggie beds and blankets in various places around my home. We also have heated and air-conditioned indoor dog kennels with windows for natural light. Dogs are taken out and walked around our 20 acre farm with a creek and lots of cool places for the dogs to explore. I take walks on my 20 acre property and I can take your dog with me either leashed or unleashed depending on your dog's recall. Dogs can rest or sleep on the couch or on a doggy bed. We have crates or you can bring your own if you want your dog crated. Every dog gets my personal attention and time. I take a limited number of dogs to assure each dog is happy and well cared for. I have a dog-safe yard and home. Dogs are in climate-controlled areas if it becomes too hot or cold. Dogs are hand-walked every 2 hours or less along our sandy doggie paths. We make sure your dog enjoys his/her mini-vacation!

Misty came and met my crew the night before I needed her just so I could explain their personalities and she could meet them. She took amazing care of them, I received lots of photos and a really sweet “journal” of their time together. She even gave me traveling pointers and things to do and see as I was on vacation! Gracie, RJ and Dunkin say thank you for taking such good care of us, mom was happy and tired when she got home

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Kanab stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
