About: I have had many pets throughout my life, dogs, cats, chickens, a turkey, fish, bunnies, a mouse. I love all animals equally & have worked at vet clinics in the past. Volunteered in high school, worked for the summer, then after high school in 2018-19 I moved to Montana and worked at a vet clinic there. I pet sit for family whenever needed & have pet sit for family friends in the past as well. I have plenty of open & flexible time as I pet sit & door dash for a living , for now at least. But nonetheless, always flexible with time & will always ensure your pets are well taken care of & loved :) I don’t watch other’s fur babes in my home because I have two dogs of my own & live in an apartment complex, however, I will always be able to watch yours in your home & make sure everyone has the best time while their parents are gone :)

About: I genuinely have the greatest passion for animals and love being around them and caring for them. I own a house near town with a large backyard and tons of dog toys and beds. I don’t own any pets myself, and work remote as a with my partner. However, my true passion has always been for animals. I have volunteered at local humane societies since I was 12, and even an elephant sanctuary! I was on the board of the largest animal shelter in Chicago (PAWS), and have received formal training in dog behavior and handling. I have experience caring for and walking numerous dogs of every size and breed. I know of some good local parks around here and am willing to take energetic dogs on runs with me! I go on runs everyday, so having a furry friend to accompany me on them would be ideal. I can watch your pet attentively and give them lots of attention throughout the day due to my flexible work schedule. My partner and I both work remote and can provide care for your animal(s) around the clock and can be home with them all day. I treat your animal as if it’s my own, simple as that. They will get ample attention throughout the day, as well as a minimum of 3 walks and lots of play time. I prepare frozen fruits and vegetables that are especially healthy for dogs before I welcome pets into my home so I have healthy treats available at all times. I have also purchased my own dog toys and beds that I have around my home to ensure your animal is always comfortable and entertained.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young, from neighbors pets to family pets. Since moving to the island 5 years ago, I have deeply missed the companionship this brings therefore I am starting Rover! I can't wait to meet your fluffy friend soon! :) Thankfully I have a pretty flexible schedule, so this is a great fit for this type of job! I most always will be able to pop in for walks, feeding, etc at your requested time with no issues. Most of my work is remote, so if I am needing to be in your home for an extended period of time, this is also not an issue. I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to following instructions. Whether it's a special diet, medication, or specific routines, I will make sure to follow your dog's schedule just the way you would.

About: I have had pets since I was 2 years old, and growing up with them made me develop an unconditional passion. I decided to turn this love into “work”, I created a treats brand, and I also take care of the puppies as if they were my own. I have Monday and Tuesday off, so I can take care of puppies all day. About: I have a master's degree in Primate Conservation. I have been pet-sitting (cats and dogs) since 2016. I have also been working with primates in zoos, rescue and rehabilitation centers, and zoos since 2002! I'm experiences administering meds, food, and even intramuscular injections to all sorts of animals. I've also assisted in veterinary surgeries in Africa (but I'm not a veterinarian or a vet tech -- I've just worked in a lot of different settings with animals). I teach ESL remotely during nights (my students are in China), so if I'm hired for pet sitting in your home, then I'll need wifi access. I'm also running a research project a few mornings a week. I will come to your home to provide services, such as walking, sitting, taking to play groups, or feeding. I am not able to host dogs in my home.

About: I had a dog for 12 years when I was growing up, and I have two cats now who are the loves of my life! I've worked with exotic animals as well, and really just have such a soft spot for animals. They're family! I'm currently working 30 hours a week at a climbing gym, and am looking to spend the other 10 taking care of your babies! I'm available 7:30-10:30 a.m. Monday-Thursday, and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Currently I'm only able to take care of pets in your home, as I need to get my cats acclimated to dogs. Enrichment is very important to me, so I would be happy to play with and brush your pet, in addition to walks!

About: I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia. I grew up with a very loyal Springer Spaniel. My wife and I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pitbull mix and a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix that lived to the happy old ages of 13 and 16 years old respectively. We lived and worked at a non-profit dog rescue in Eugene, Oregon where we cared for all kinds of dogs and puppies, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. Some of these dogs were dealing with some pretty hefty allergy and/or anxiety projects. I am a young at heart, athletic and energetic college graduate. My wife and I have a holistic wellness practice where we receive human clients, as well as animals. All of my work with dogs includes this service when appropriate. We currently live in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Pet care is a major part of my life. My wife and I have a pet care business offering regular weekly visits/walks, as well as overnight pet sitting. We care for our clients pets as we would care for our own, remembering that every individual is unique. The animals in our lives are treated with the same love and compassion as our friends and family members. We do not board at our home. We come to your home, where your pet is most comfortable, and we do our best to maintain their normal routine, minimalizing stress and anxiety.

About: Local to Big Island for the last 6 years, based in upper palisades but willing to travel up to 25 miles. I have 10+ years of animal experience - beginning with volunteering at my local humane society and animal shelters at the age of 16, to training service dogs for children with autism for National Service Dogs and later on becoming a certified dog trainer. While completing my undergraduate degree I worked at 2 different pet stores and dog walked & dog sat for cash on weekends. I have been house/dog sitting regularly for 4+ years for two local families - one of which with 3 elderly wiener dogs and the other with two high energy samoyed puppies turned adult pups. My undergraduate degree is in Animal Biology, and my graduate degree is in Animal Behaviour & Welfare - both completed at University of Guelph in Canada where I was born. Although my specialization was in African penguins, I have lots of love for fluffier animals too. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 3+ years as a vet assistant/technician, but since moving back to Hawaii I’ve moved into the tourism industry. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages. I’m currently working part time in the tourism industry, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate Rover care needs for my clients. With plenty of experience pet sitting and house sitting, I realize that every situation is going to be slightly different — I try to match what the pets are used to first and foremost, the walks pet owners tend to take their dogs on and do activities that are already a part of the pets routine. Though I never let dogs off leash while dog sitting, even if owners usually do; the possibility of losing a pet is not something I’m comfortable with, so better safe than sorry.

About: From potty-training new puppies to feeding senior dogs, I have experience taking care of dogs all ages. I currently have four XL dogs who I feed, walk, play with, sleep with, etc. I am a graduate school student and yoga studio manager hoping to make some extra money! I would love to spend some time with your animal(s) With my parents in New York, I took care of our four XL. I would feed, walk, bathe, brush, and sleep with them :) I'm not able to take animals into my home now, but I am able to come to your home to care for your animal(s) :)

About: An animal lover since I was a little girl, I’ve happily cared for many pets and animals in my life, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, even a snake! I adore all animals and think we can learn a lot from them, but I have a soft spot for our furry four legged friends. Over the years I’ve cared for many neighbors’, friend’s and family pets while they’ve been away, whether house sitting or inviting their pets into my cozy home for a little staycation. I don’t have any pets currently and am dearly missing the company, so I’d love to care for yours! I’m a very cuddly, attentive, reliable and playful pet owner who will shower your pet with love and care, and send many photos and updates. I typically work full time Monday through Friday, with a few days working from home in between. Weekends are usually wide open, and I’d love to fill them with a furry friend! Fridays - Mondays are most flexible for me, but I’d love to play around with my schedule to suit your needs! I live in a residential, pet-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for walks or runs. I have a yard but no fence, so will be extra careful when going outside. Lots of comfy rugs, pillows, and furniture inside for lounging :) happy to crate your dog if desired, or house sit if preferred. Very flexible!
