Pet Sitting in Kahakuloa

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have an awesome 5 year old cattahoula mix who loves to make friends! We live at the back of Iao Valley, right next to the stream and have a beautiful fenced in half acre for the dogs to run around on. I work from home so will be w pup all day! They have free range to be inside or outside whenever they want. Lots of attention and love. I have a huge fenced in yard. Dogs have their own door that is always open for them to come in and out. Lots to explore and sniff!

I currently work at the Zoo. I have plenty of time to be with your pets. I work 7-3:30 pm with 2 or 3 days off. I have a one hour lunch break where I can go and let dogs out to potty. On my my days off I will spend all day with your pets and do their favorite activities! I am very much a home body so in the evenings and early mornings I will walk and love your on your dog. Whatever they enjoy! Before and after work and on my lunch break. I follow all instructions. I care for the pet as if they were my own. Their safety and happiness is my number one priority. I will take them for walks, play with them, snuggle them and tend to all their needs. I am adaptable to all pet types. So if they Do not want to be touched or have anxiety, I can also provide them with a relaxing time while their parents are away. Really whatever they need, I can provide.

“Megan was SO awesome!! I was in a huge bind trying to find someone to help out for a hospital stay, and had no advance notice. I joined Rover in a panic! Megan responded to my Rover request right away, and made time to get the key (in one direction on the island), and then head back to help the stranded pups (in the other direction) all within HOURS!!! She came up with creative ideas on her own (that she ran by me) to help out in this unique situation. She really was a lifesaver, and was an EXCELLENT communicator the entire time. She really went above and beyond, and I am SO grateful! I would definitely recommend her!!”

About: I have spent over 18 years in the veterinary field & pet sitting throughout. I bring a level of skill & experience for pets the have medical needs or just prefer to stay at home. This is my full time gig at the moment. Looking for pet sitting opportunities. Love that this gives me a flexible schedule needed to be available as a pet sitter. I have two dogs that a vetted properly. They are also walked several times a day & receive constant love & care. We do positive reinforcement & focus on praise. I own two dogs of my own currently an 1 year old hunting dog mix rescue and a chihuahua/pomeranian mix and a rescue cat who are the light of my world and fur children! I've trained and raised all my animals I’ve owned (one being an exceptionally well behaved Service Dog) and can provide basic training for an additional cost. have worked at an animal hospital so administrating medication, messy clean ups, and baths are no problem for me. I have also worked in a grooming department, as an equestrian Care taker and competitor, and a doggy day care. I am comfortable with all animals of all species and sizes. You can count on me to always treat any animal as if they were my own(: hope to hear from you soon! About: I’ve always had a passion for dogs and recently loss my chocolate lab who lived 14 years. I do still have a 9 year old black lab who needs a playmate during the day. I’ve worked at the Boise zoo for 5 years and have experience in administering medicine. Im currently a full time BSU student and since most of my classes are online, I’m home all day to take care of dogs full time. I have a fenced in yard and I’m walking distance from several dog parks. I have a very friendly black Female lab who would love to have a playmate during the day. I’m a big guy (6’4”)so I can walk 3-4 dogs on a walk. Currently unemployed and looking for jobs in Kihei, Hawaii for now until I find either walk or until I figure out something just let me know and I’ll be there in a jiffy. I talk with the client and make sure to either give them a choice of daily or every other day updates on the dogs progress/mood if anything is out of the norm I will contact them immediately
