Kule unexpectedly went into heat during her stay and I felt so bad but they took care of her and went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. They always sent pictures and videos of her on her walks and was very communicative during the whole 3.5 weeks. I will totally stay in touch with them and even meet up at the dog park for the pups to play. It’s hard trusting people with our fur babies while we are away but I 100% recommend them to everyone and will use them if ever we are off island again.”

“Randi watched our two fur babies (Rosie and Ridley) last weekend while we got married! My two Chihuahuas are my children, and I was super hesitant and nervous to leave them with anyone! Randi walked me through the entire process. She wanted to know all about them before they arrived, what they liked, what they disliked, what they liked to do, eat, etc. She genuinely cared about them as if they were her own. She had a ton of space for them to run around and play in, and even let them sleep with her!! She is very friendly, easy going, and a natural doggy lover. She sent me a ton of photos and videos which helped me while I was away from them. Because of The Fox Estate, I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding weekend without worrying about my babies being in a kennel.”

About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. I love to take care of all kinds of animals. I am looking for some extra jobs on the island! I would make sure I am aware of the clients needs and expectations when being in their home. I will be aware of any precautions and contact the owner with any issues. I will take care of the animals with anything that is needed (walking/feeding/put into crate/attention), I am a quick learner and am open to any specific jobs.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have an awesome 5 year old cattahoula mix who loves to make friends! We live at the back of Iao Valley, right next to the stream and have a beautiful fenced in half acre for the dogs to run around on. I work from home so will be w pup all day! They have free range to be inside or outside whenever they want. Lots of attention and love. I have a huge fenced in yard. Dogs have their own door that is always open for them to come in and out. Lots to explore and sniff!

About: Hi! I’m Rae! Ever since my dad handed me my first Boston Terrier when I was a little girl, my heart has belonged to the animals. I was lucky enough to grow up in a household with pets, and as an adult I couldn’t imagine not having pets. I also recognize that even though we wish we could take our furbabies everywhere, it’s just not a reality for a lot of us. So, I’m happy to be able to ease the worry of wanting or needing to travel, work, etc by offering to take care of your babies while you’re away. I’ve also traveled to help take care of pets while they’re pawrents were away, tending to both their pets and home. Currently I have a lot of open availability. I prefer to be able to come to your house as I have two pups and three kitties in my home, and I know a pet is usually more comfortable in their own environment. We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 4 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 2 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day. I’m never gone for more than a 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to hang out in and a few acres beyond that (partially fenced) for them to run around and get their energy out in. I’m always watching the dogs when they are beyond the fully fenced yard. I will also make sure you are comfortable with your dog in this situation before doing so.

Trying to get through some of my real estate studies & exams would have put poor Cannon at a disadvantage for sure, but in Wanda & Lonnie’s care I was able to focus and study long hours without interruptions of having to take Cannon out for his walks 3 times a day! About: I’m a country, animal loving young girl. I’ve spent years caring for farms and ranches or just housesitting with many dogs, cats and much more. I just enjoy soaking up extra time with the critters. I’ve spent time training two of my own dogs and also several others. What my dog needs most is a steady, compassionate presence, and that is exactly what they provided. Not long after I dropped my dog off, Michele reached out to let me know that my dog was content, getting along well with her dog, and exploring her new surroundings. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. Later, she sent me a photo of my dog resting peacefully in her garden while she gardened nearby, which spoke volumes about how safe and settled my dog felt. Michele was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely present. She snuggled with my dog on the couch, included her in daily activities (like “helping” in the garden), and it was sweet that she seemed to enjoy my dog’s company. That matters to me more than I can easily express. Having a dog with extra needs can come with a lot of worry about being a burden, and it was sweet to sense that it wasn’t that at all for them. It was also deeply reassuring that they have an older dog themselves. Michele truly understands the rhythms, sensitivities, and nervous systems of senior and special-needs dogs. When I picked my dog up, she was happy to see me and tired in the best way—but most importantly, she was calm and regulated. This tells me everything about the quality of care she received. This kind of support is immensely valuable. I would absolutely recommend Michele and Brian, especially to anyone with an older, anxious, or special-needs dog who needs more than basic sitting. Finding someone like this feels rare, and I would trust them with my dog again without hesitation.”

About: I grew up with a dog and have watched many different types of dogs since I was a teenager. I routinely walk and feed my roommates dogs when they are at work. Walking dogs is a great way for me to get daily exercise too. I’m only working part time so I am available throughout the week and have a very flexible schedule right now. Especially in the afternoon and at night There is a fenced in backyard the dog can play in. There are also two other friendly dogs in the downstairs unit who love to play. The street i live on is a great dog walking street with a sidewalk.

I own two dogs of my own currently a 3 year old hunting dog mix rescue and a 11 year old chihuahua/pomeranian mix and a rescue cat who are the light of my world and fur children! I've trained and raised all my animals I’ve owned (one being an exceptionally well behaved Service Dog). have worked at an animal hospital so administrating medication, messy clean ups, and baths are no problem for me. I have also worked in a grooming department, as an equestrian Care taker and competitor, and a doggy day care. I am comfortable with all animals of all species and sizes. About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. I love to take care of all kinds of animals. I am looking for some extra jobs on the island! I would make sure I am aware of the clients needs and expectations when being in their home. I will be aware of any precautions and contact the owner with any issues. I will take care of the animals with anything that is needed (walking/feeding/put into crate/attention), I am a quick learner and am open to any specific jobs.

About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. I have a part time job where I’m busy on Wednesdays and Fridays. Otherwise I am available to enjoy time with your doggo all day. I live on a large property with lots of fun things to smell and explore! It isn’t fenced, I intend to keep your dog close with a leash unless you feel they aren’t likely to try and run away.

Both my husband and I have had dogs our entire lives and have plenty of experience caring for them. My husband is known in our family as the “dog whisperer.” We have family on the mainland and travel back a couple of times a year, so we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets while you’re away. Whether you need daily drop-in visits or boarding while you’re off island, your pets will be treated like part of our family and will be in loving hands. We live in Kihei near a dog park and the beach and spend plenty of time outdoors. About: I’m a country, animal loving young girl. I’ve spent years caring for farms and ranches or just housesitting with many dogs, cats and much more. I just enjoy soaking up extra time with the critters. I’ve spent time training two of my own dogs and also several others. About: Just a only child madly in love with animals, I treat all dogs as if they were my babies. I’ve been boarding dogs in Florida, Maui Hawaii & Oregon. Dogs are taken out for potty breaks every 3hours (or as needed), I shower them with so much love and walks to the parks ect.
