We have never left our Pomeranian, Lucy, with anyone overnight before, until we met Randi. She is caring and knowledgeable and we trust her implicitly. She has a beautiful estate where she will welcome your dog just like it was her own. While on vacation recently, she constantly kept in touch with us via text message and sent us plenty of pictures and videos, so we could be assured Lucy was in good hands and doing well. She has plenty of space at her home and she does whatever possible to accommodate your needs and the needs of your pet. We no longer have to be hesitant in deciding on an overnight trip or vacation. Just knowing that we can leave our most precious fur friend with Randi has alleviated all our anxieties. We have also used Randi for daycare services too and we were equally impressed. “Rochelle was super friendly and accommodating. She had great communication and sent us numerous text during our pups stay. Coco took to Rochelle extremely well, which is not very common for her. From the moment we dropped her off, we felt extremely comfortable and could tell that Coco did too. Rochelle’s space was very dog friendly. About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have an awesome 5 year old cattahoula mix who loves to make friends! We live at the back of Iao Valley, right next to the stream and have a beautiful fenced in half acre for the dogs to run around on. I work from home so will be w pup all day! They have free range to be inside or outside whenever they want. Lots of attention and love. I have a huge fenced in yard. Dogs have their own door that is always open for them to come in and out. Lots to explore and sniff!

Megan responded to my Rover request right away, and made time to get the key (in one direction on the island), and then head back to help the stranded pups (in the other direction) all within HOURS!!! About: Aloha :) My dogs and I would love to have your dog stay at our house in Olinda! We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 4 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 2 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day. I’m never gone for more than a 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to hang out in and a few acres beyond that (partially fenced) for them to run around and get their energy out in. I’m always watching the dogs when they are beyond the fully fenced yard. I will also make sure you are comfortable with your dog in this situation before doing so.

I still think about him all the time because he’s my baby and I love him so much, but on the other hand I don’t worry because I know he’s in good hands. Trying to get through some of my real estate studies & exams would have put poor Cannon at a disadvantage for sure, but in Wanda & Lonnie’s care I was able to focus and study long hours without interruptions of having to take Cannon out for his walks 3 times a day! What my dog needs most is a steady, compassionate presence, and that is exactly what they provided. Not long after I dropped my dog off, Michele reached out to let me know that my dog was content, getting along well with her dog, and exploring her new surroundings. That early check-in brought me such a sense of relief. Later, she sent me a photo of my dog resting peacefully in her garden while she gardened nearby, which spoke volumes about how safe and settled my dog felt. Michele was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely present. She snuggled with my dog on the couch, included her in daily activities (like “helping” in the garden), and it was sweet that she seemed to enjoy my dog’s company. That matters to me more than I can easily express. Having a dog with extra needs can come with a lot of worry about being a burden, and it was sweet to sense that it wasn’t that at all for them. It was also deeply reassuring that they have an older dog themselves. Michele truly understands the rhythms, sensitivities, and nervous systems of senior and special-needs dogs. When I picked my dog up, she was happy to see me and tired in the best way—but most importantly, she was calm and regulated. This tells me everything about the quality of care she received. This kind of support is immensely valuable. I would absolutely recommend Michele and Brian, especially to anyone with an older, anxious, or special-needs dog who needs more than basic sitting. Finding someone like this feels rare, and I would trust them with my dog again without hesitation.”

I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. About: I grew up with a dog and have watched many different types of dogs since I was a teenager. I routinely walk and feed my roommates dogs when they are at work. Walking dogs is a great way for me to get daily exercise too. I’m only working part time so I am available throughout the week and have a very flexible schedule right now. “Rochelle was super friendly and accommodating. She had great communication and sent us numerous text during our pups stay. Coco took to Rochelle extremely well, which is not very common for her. From the moment we dropped her off, we felt extremely comfortable and could tell that Coco did too. Rochelle’s space was very dog friendly. Our Pup was even on several medications at the time, which Rochelle made sure to give her and stayed on top of. I would definitely recommend Rochelle for your pups next stay! 10/10!”

About: I have a husky mix Kea and we are super active! Daily walks and animal care is in my daily routine. I have been doing rover for a long time now. Apart from dogs, I worked/lived at a cat sanctuary in Haiku that had over 200+ cats as well as chickens and cows. My job consisted of feeding, giving medicine/attention, and cleaning after them everyday. I take care of my husky mix Kea everyday! I work from home m-f and have lots of free time. I love to take care of all kinds of animals. I am looking for some extra jobs on the island! I would make sure I am aware of the clients needs and expectations when being in their home. I will be aware of any precautions and contact the owner with any issues. I will take care of the animals with anything that is needed (walking/feeding/put into crate/attention), I am a quick learner and am open to any specific jobs.

About: I have extensive experience in dog training and care as my Dad’s business was in rehabilitation, training and boarding for dogs. I worked as an employee for 5 years and also had opportunities to help train and care for the dogs from 12 years old. I love learning more every time I interact with a new dog. I am skilled at training dogs to get over leash aggression and constant pulling. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs and have learned a lot about how this can alter their specific needs. I have a part time job where I’m busy on Wednesdays and Fridays. Otherwise I am available to enjoy time with your doggo all day. I live on a large property with lots of fun things to smell and explore! It isn’t fenced, I intend to keep your dog close with a leash unless you feel they aren’t likely to try and run away.
About: Just a only child madly in love with animals, I treat all dogs as if they were my babies. I’ve been boarding dogs in Florida, Maui Hawaii & Oregon. Dogs are taken out for potty breaks every 3hours (or as needed), I shower them with so much love and walks to the parks ect. “I’d recommend Johnathan! He’s like a dog whisperer. Mika always has issues with new sitters and I was a bit worried at first she kept barking non stop as usual but after a while she settled in but still barked several times. Lacey was no problem she’s always mellow and friendly. Mika in the other hand is very defensive but Johnathan took them in with short time spent with Johnathan Mika barely barked going home after the meet and greet. Then back at it when I dropped them off-when I picked them up Mika made a good connection with Johnathan and she didn’t even bark in my car just crying a bit but no barking she didn’t even want to get out of my car to go inside our home! Amazing improvement!! I’d go to Johnathan for my dogs anytime and highly recommend him as well got updated a few times in the day to keep me updated on how they’re doing. We have one small dog of our own, a 10 year old Shiba Inu, who is very chill and gets along great with other dogs! Both my husband and I have had dogs our entire lives and have plenty of experience caring for them. My husband is known in our family as the “dog whisperer.” We have family on the mainland and travel back a couple of times a year, so we understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets while you’re away. Whether you need daily drop-in visits or boarding while you’re off island, your pets will be treated like part of our family and will be in loving hands. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule. We’re an active family and would love to include your dog in our daily outings when appropriate. We live in Kihei near a dog park and the beach and spend plenty of time outdoors. Because we have two young children and a small dog in our home, boarding is best suited for dogs that are friendly and comfortable around both children and other dogs. We’re also more than happy to provide drop-in visits! However you would like your pet to be cared for; walks, fetch, feedings, scratches, cuddles or simply some company while you’re away, we’re here for it!
About: I’m a country, animal loving young girl. I’ve spent years caring for farms and ranches or just housesitting with many dogs, cats and much more. I just enjoy soaking up extra time with the critters. I’ve spent time training two of my own dogs and also several others. Experience fostering both cats, kittens and puppies is also something I can offer. It’s so rewarding to watch the dogs learn and grow with training and time. I can take your dog on walks and play with them or just chill with your cat. I currently work 3 days a week on a boat and 1 day as a bartender. Feel free to message me for scheduling and availability. If your pet is ok with me being gone on the boat 12 hrs on a couple days I’m happy to housesit for a length of time. My partner can often times let your pet out to potty on my long work days. Usually just Wednesdays are 12 hr shifts. I like to keep the pets routines as close to what they are use to as possible. Playing with, exercising, feeding and even doing some training are all things I like to incorporate in my daily schedule.
