About: I have experience with taking care of dogs and cats of all kind for the past 6 years. I myself have always had some sort of animal my entire life. Whether it be a dog, cat, fish, or reptile, I have owned many different kinds and understand what it takes to give them the best care. Every one of my clients have come back with positive feedback and have always come back to me for their animal needs. Whatever animal you may need help with I am here for you! I do have a day time job so after work will be the time for me to care for your animals. Weekends are a bit more flexible. On a day to day basis I will feed them and walk them whenever it is needed, and make sure they have access to the bathroom as much as possible. When those are all attending to, we will spend the rest of our time playing, snuggling, or enjoying petting and cuddles.
“Leilani did great with Pebbles and her little kittens. They all grew closer to her each day and looked forward to seeing her in the mornings and nights. Leilani prepared their meals - all separately from kittens to mama Pebbles, washed all their feeding and water bowls when they were done and even cleaned out their litter box each day. She showed up on time and send me photos of Pebbles and the kittens twice a day. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Leilani and look forward to having her watch Pebbles and the kittens again.”

About: I’ve had dogs and other animals in my life since I was a kid. I’ve taken care of and helped raise dogs from the puppy stages to adulthood. I am the type of dog lover who enjoys bringing the pup(s) with me to exercise. But I also love to just chill and love on them! In my home, the pet(s) are allowed inside. We have a fenced-in yard. They cannot sleep on the furniture, including the room/bed. I will respect any wishes you have for your pet, whether that be in my home or yours. I work from home -- so, I can accommodate practically any schedule of care. I am pretty flexible because 90% of my work is done online. I treat your animals and your home as if they were my own, with love, care, and respect. If at any time I feel like I have a question, I won’t hesitate to ask, because the well-being of your animal and home are important.
About: I have been a pet sitter and walker since I was 13. I was known as the neighborhood dog walker whenever someone went on vacation or needed an extra hand. I have a nice grassy backyard in my condo building and a pet friendly condo that can meet any pet owners needs and happy to help!

About: I grew up on a farm raising cattle, chickens, rabbits, cats and dogs, I guess that is where my love for animals began. I have two dogs of my own, wish I had extra space for 2 more or an entire dog sanctuary. I most certainly believe in exceptional care for all animals and have provided services taking care of friends and families furry companions. Your pet will have nothing short of snuggles and love from me!

About: My parents used to joke that I was a dog in another life and honestly, they are right. I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was about 10 years old, and animals have always felt like home to me. I grew up dog-sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, often caring for multiple dogs at once (5+ at a time), and I have yet to meet a dog I didn’t adore—or one that didn’t quickly warm up to me. My own dog, an 11-year-old, 35-lb rescue who lives with my family in Boston, is truly my best friend and greatest teacher. Through him and the many dogs I’ve cared for, I’ve learned that every dog has a unique personality, communication style, and set of needs. I’m patient, attentive, and deeply respectful of each dog’s routines, boundaries, and preferences—whether that means high-energy play, slow senior strolls, or plenty of quiet companionship. Professionally, I work as a humpback whale biologist, where trust, patience, and calm presence are essential! After all, humpback whale mothers trust me around their calves and I bring that same level of care, awareness, and responsibility to every animal I look after. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’d be honored to care for your furry best friend and give them the same love, attentiveness, and respect I give my own. I am current a graduate student at Umiami and have a class schedule of only Tuesday - Thursday with Saturday classes as well! Other than that, I can make any over night, morning, evening or most daytime walks and time's work! My own house has a fenced yard and one other major animal lover! We keep the house very clean and make it pet safe as we have friends who's pets visit often! We have a gated home as well, meaning multiple series of locks for safety.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
