Suzanne was nothing but spectacular. She was extremely meticulous with our pets and I was very comfortable having her stay in our home. She went above and beyond with things around the house, inside and out. Watered plants, filled feeders, laundry etc. She was always reachable and sent pictures. I am pretty particular with who I choose to watch our pets and Suzanne exceeded my expectations. ❤️ Thank you, Suzanne!!

About: I love caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away! I've been dog sitting for family and friends for the past three years and have experience with all kinds of pups. From energetic puppies who need lots of attention and playtime to senior dogs who require medication and a little extra care. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always do my best to help them feel relaxed and right at home. I love being active and spending time outdoors, so if your dog enjoys walks, playtime, or just hanging out outside, I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. If they're more laid-back and prefer relaxing inside, I'm happy to spend quality time indoors too! I also have experience caring for elderly dogs, including administering medications and following special care instructions. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away and make sure your pet gets lots of love and the best care possible! Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing, giving medications, or just keeping them company. I’m flexible with my schedule and always make sure pets get plenty of attention. I always make sure to follow all of my client's instructions and care for their pets as if they were my own. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I will also treat your home with the same respect and care! I prioritize keeping everything clean and exactly how I found it while you're away.

About: Growing up we had 5 dogs and I’ve never looked back. I have watched friends and family inpets while on vacation, taken them on walks/hikes, and just dropped by to let them out or feed them during the day. I’ll treat your pet like my own while I’m with them and communicate with you plus photos (everyone likes to get a picture of their pet happy) I am currently a stay at home mom whose son is in school. We are looking to make an extra income to support vacations and activities. I currently have open availability as my husband can help with my son. I currently have 3 dogs (2 dachshunds and a boxer mix) at home with a fenced in yard. We do have crates if they need to be put up at all. I am available to come to your house as well to dog sit if needed!

Adrianna was absolutely wonderful with my dogs and my home! She kept the house neat and tidy, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pictures, and from those photos it was clear the dogs were having such a great time that they hardly missed me. She also kept me up to date on everything going on, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and reliable sitter. Hoping to plan more trips now that I found someone I can trust! Highly recommend!

Autumn is an absolute dream! We had her house sit and stay with my two French Bulldogs while we went out of town for a few days. She was absolutely amazing! She kept me in the loop, sent tons of pictures and took such amazing care of them. It was really great for my dogs to be able to stay in their own home and receive the kind of attention they are used to, especially since it is difficult for me to leave them being that they are naturally an anxious breed. I didn’t have to worry at all while I was gone—I knew they were in great hands! We will definitely be contacting Autumn anytime we need help with them :)

About: I bring the magic where ever I go, especially to visit the dogs and cats of Charleston. I love to take them on adventures to Hampton park, Magnolia Plantation, the island beaches, or around Colonial Lake. Some of my regulars include the 2 cutest Dachsunds downtown. I’m experienced with all breed and sizes! I am a local contractor so my schedule is very flexible. I can do mid day walks or drop ins as long as I don’t have a job to do! I will always take your dog on regular walks and play with younger dogs or any who have the energy. I know how to pet the grumpiest of cats without them walking away! I will give your pet a lot of attention as I know they might be missing you and want them to be relaxed as possible!

About: Attention to detail and a love of dogs and cats that i have grown up or had since I was a child. This is a passion of mine. This is my full time job and career. My sister and I started pet sitting in the 90's and have started back up when I made this my full time job after my wifes open heart surgery in 2024. Now my wife and daughter help me run and work the business. I care for my pets by providing as loving atmosphere of play healthy foods and quality care with our vet as needed. I am new to hiring a dog sitter to care for my sweet Ginger. However, I believe I have found my forever pet sitter. Thank you Ashley for sending me pictures of Ginger while I was away. It really put me at ease. Folks, Ashley made me feel is comfortable in leaving Ginger in her care. I love the fact that Ashley came over before my trip to meet and spend some time with Ginger. Also Ashley's price to watch and care for Ginger was so reasonable! I look forward to planning my next trip knowing Ashley is there for Ginger.

About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)

Jenna was great even Sage our Jack Russell that gets anxious when we leave on a trip warmed up to her quickly. Nova our other dog loved her from the moment she walked in. She left the apartment clean and very happy dogs. Jenna’s response rate and updates were 100%, I would definitely recommend having Jenna take care of your pets.

FAQs for House Sitting - Juno

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Juno on Rover is $105.45 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,180 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Juno. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Juno walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Juno maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Juno choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Juno. On Rover:

  • 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
