Kathy sent lots of pics and msgd how they were doing-which definitely put our minds at ease as they looked happy and active (bonus for us she had 2 boxer pups visiting to keep them busy!). We found ourselves the next weekend still in temp housing, so we were off again-took the boys-they ran up to the house excited, tails wagging so we knew they liked it there!! In addition, I provide daily reports and feedback to keep you informed while you are away. Currently a stay-at-home mom, so I can be quite flexible and work to your schedule. Our family is ready to help your pets feel secure while you travel. We have 3 acres of fenced-in land for your dog to roam free. In addition, we have a house and climate controlled barn should your babe need more space to themselves. Our ambassador hound Hermes should be able to keep them company as well.

About: I’m a retired wildlife biologist with lots of time and interest in taking care of animals. I’ve had dogs and indoor (mostly) cats most of my life and thus I’m fully used to scooping poo, sweeping up kitty litter, etc. You will not return to a minefield in the yard or a messy litter box I’m retired and thus available often. You can count on me to spend quality time with your pets, not just feed and go. I look forward to meeting them I like animals more than most people, haha, and will care for them with great focus. Your pets will be my buddies and we’ll have a safe and fun time together. I do not have a fence but my house is in the middle of a 113 acre mostly wooded property I own.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I worked at an animal shelter for a couple of years when I was in high school as well. I currently have two small dogs that I adore. I will treat your pet as if they were my own! My weekends are normally open so I am available to check on your pet throughout the day as needed. I will send you a text with a picture each day or at each visit. I work full time during the week so any drop in visits will be outside of my normal work hours (I’m usually home from 6:45am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. I am open for boarding during the week. The dogs will have access to a doggy door at all times. I will make sure your pet has fresh food and water and can administer medication if needed. If we walk around outside, I’ll make sure the ground is not too hot for their feet.

I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your best friend is happy and well cared for. My goal isn’t just to watch your dog—it’s to become someone they’re excited to see again. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. My two dogs, Dax and Sandy, have consistent routines for feeding, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention, and I understand how important that consistency is for every dog. I work away from home Monday through Thursday, but I have a predictable schedule with consistent departure and return times. This allows me to provide reliable care and lets pet parents know exactly what to expect. On my days off, I spend most of my time at home, giving me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention. When your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of my family. My home is a safe, welcoming environment where they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervised play throughout the day. I have a securely fenced backyard where dogs can run, explore, play fetch, or simply relax in the sunshine. On warm days, I like to put out a small dog pool so pups can cool off and have a little extra fun. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers lounging outside and soaking up the fresh air, I’ll make sure they have an enjoyable stay. I know every dog has their own routine and personality, so I’ll do my best to follow their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. My goal is to provide a home away from home where your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

“Arnelia was great with my dogs! She sent many photos and videos, and she ensured they were comfortable playing with the other dogs in the home before allowing them to run around together. We also had a meet-and-greet prior to their stay, which was helpful to ensure it would be a good fit. She has a wonderful fenced yard for the dogs to run in that she keeps well maintained. Arnelia provides training and grooming during their stay and was able to quickly pick up on their training needs. The dogs seemed very happy while they were there. I look forward to working with Arnelia again!”
