“Ashley did a fantastic job of keeping us updated on Gus. She sent pictures to show how he was doing. This was his first time being boarded and I was very nervous about it. Ashley was great at communicating with me about how he was doing. Highly recommend!”

“Bryan was AWESOME!!! He was so accommodating and quick to answer all my questions. He set up a meet and greet with me and my pup, Koda to make sure Koda would be happy there. Bryan sent me pictures of Koda and gave me updates on how he was doing. I had never boarded my dog before but Bryan made it a breeze and made me feel very confident that Koda was in great hands. I would highly recommend Bryan to anyone and I can tell that Koda really enjoyed his stay there!”

“Josh took great care of my Scarlet while away for the weekend. He consistently sent updates, pictures and asked questions about her care and personality to ensure he was providing the best care. I will most definitely utilize him in the future!”

“Kayla was amazing! She watched my dog for a few days and kept me updated every single day, which gave me real peace of mind. This was my first time using a sitter, and she made the whole process feel easy and completely stress-free. I could tell my dog was well taken care of and in good hands. I’ll definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“We just moved to GA and are in temp housing, so we were all stir crazy and needed a change. We found Kathy and even though it’s nerve wracking to leave our boys with someone new we dropped them off. Kathy sent lots of pics and msgd how they were doing-which definitely put our minds at ease as they looked happy and active (bonus for us she had 2 boxer pups visiting to keep them busy!). We found ourselves the next weekend still in temp housing, so we were off again-took the boys-they ran up to the house excited, tails wagging so we knew they liked it there!! Our boys came home 2 week ends in a row tired-which for anyone with a boxer and golden knows is a bonus!!! Thanks Kathy-see you next time we’re heading to Atlanta!!”

“Dana and Brandon were great. Clean and welcoming environment. Kinda felt like dropping our fur-kid off at a friends house for the weekend. They stayed in touch with us and sent updates and pics. We will definitely be calling on them in the future and recommending them to our friends.”

About: With over 20 years of experience, your furry friends will have the best care and affection they could ever want. In addition, I provide daily reports and feedback to keep you informed while you are away. Currently a stay-at-home mom, so I can be quite flexible and work to your schedule. Our family is ready to help your pets feel secure while you travel. We have 3 acres of fenced-in land for your dog to roam free. In addition, we have a house and climate controlled barn should your babe need more space to themselves. Our ambassador hound Hermes should be able to keep them company as well.
“I got pictures, videos, and updates every day of Bentley. Briana took great care of him while I was gone and I will be using her every time I can when I go out of town. He was very happy there and taken care of.”

About: I’m a retired wildlife biologist with lots of time and interest in taking care of animals. I’ve had dogs and indoor (mostly) cats most of my life and thus I’m fully used to scooping poo, sweeping up kitty litter, etc. You will not return to a minefield in the yard or a messy litter box I’m retired and thus available often. You can count on me to spend quality time with your pets, not just feed and go. I look forward to meeting them I like animals more than most people, haha, and will care for them with great focus. Your pets will be my buddies and we’ll have a safe and fun time together. I do not have a fence but my house is in the middle of a 113 acre mostly wooded property I own.
“They were great with our boy Hudson. They gave them one on one attention, took him hiking and included him in their daily activities. She updated us with photos without asking. Will definitely use them again”

“Sosa and Kesha have found a a second home with Mayra & Jonathan. We are thankful to have found them when we did and look forward to using them again. They were extremely friendly and made my dogs feel at home away from ours.”

“Our 2 goofy, big golden doodles always enjoy their time with Josh & Kerith. Getting photos of them playing is a nice little bonus, too! I know they are so excited to go there, but I’m happy when we pick them up - mainly because I always miss them. But, I never worry about them when they are with Josh & Kerith, because I know they are very well cared for!”

“Jessica was amazing from the beginning to the end. She made sure that our sweet Teddy was well taken care of. She limits the amount of fur babies she watches at a time so that she can give the full attention to each and every one of them. I would definitely recommend Jessica to others. Thank you so much Jessica.”

“Pamela provides daily pictures and sometimes cute videos, too! She provides top notch care and keeps us pet parents informed. We really hope she'll watch our Molly Girl again! Molly bragged about Pamela for a LONG time!! 😉”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Adgateville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Adgateville.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Adgateville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
