“Our corgi Millie loves when Molly comes to let her out! I always know Millie will be well taken care or. Molly is extremely accommodating to schedule changes and when we were out of town and was locked out of the house was willing to still come back and let Millie out!”

About: Animals should be treated like the family they are. I have a full acre with multiple secure fences for your animals to play around in. Any animal that loves being pet will get a lot of attention! They deserve to be treated with love and respect because they are apart of your family and are very important. I am a stay at home mom and that gives me a lot of flexibility with timing and scheduling. I am a stay at home mom so I have time to play with your dog and relax with them. They will be outside for a good part of the day with me as long as they want to be. There is plenty of shade as well as water available. There are two fences in place so your dog is really secure. There will always be water available as well as shade. If the weather is bad, or they prefer to be inside most of the day, the downstairs has enough room to run around a bit and is comfortable with a bed and water for them.
“Kal was FANTASTIC. This was my first time using this service and Kal was awesome to work with. My dog was timid and had an accident when Kal first arrived. Kal didn’t hesitate to clean it up for me. I really appreciated that - 10/10 recommend her!”

“I could not be more happy with Grace! This has been my first time using Rover and I’m a worried dog mom (with so many instructions), but little did I know that Grace is the perfect person to take care of my boy. She is so understanding and thorough, and you can tell that her #1 priority is the safety and health of a pet in her care. I will absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to all pet parents!”

“I cannot recommend Kassy enough. My dog Roo is very shy and it takes a few extra steps for him to feel comfortable with someone. I am so thankful for her patience with Roo. She truly cares about him as if he were her own and for that, I am so grateful.”

About: Hi! I’m Kelsey 😊 I’m a Des Moines native living downtown and working from home full-time. I’m a fur mama to Charlie, my almost 8-year-old Labrador mix, and Blue, my 10-year-old domestic shorthair cat—they’re truly my babies! I grew up my whole life caring for dogs & cats and have experience caring for rabbits, reptiles, and amphibians. I focus on safety, routine, and treating every animal like they’re my own. I’m comfortable administering daily medications and providing extra care for pets with special needs, if/when needed. Services I Offer: • Dog Walking • Drop-In Visits ✨Coming Soon✨ • Boarding • Day Care Because I work from home, pets in my care receive frequent potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention. Walks may include Grays Lake or quieter trails for pups who prefer a calmer environment. With owner approval, I also have access to a small dog park for social dogs. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved while you’re away. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own! 🐶🐱 Flexible, reliable, and truly animal-obsessed! Because I work from home full-time, I’m able to provide frequent check-ins, extra attention, and a consistent routine your pets can feel comfortable with. I’m happy to care for dogs, cats, bunnies, reptiles, amphibians, and even shy or special-needs pets—each one receives patient, attentive care and plenty of love ✨ I prioritize safety, consistency, and attentive, reliable care. I carefully follow all owner instructions, maintain a clean and secure environment, and remain hands-on and observant at all times to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
About: I have played and watched cats since I was a little girl and dogs since I have been an adult. I love animals and treat my Long Hair German Shepherd, Mercedes, like my first daughter. I am usually able to sense what the animal is trying to say. I am very empathetic and want everyone, animals included, to feel comfortable in my home. I only go to the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, all other days I am working from home and allow Mercedes as many trips outside as she wants. We also take time on nice days to play in the yard or take walks. I have a 3 year old who currently runs our house. Mercedes knows not to mess with the human toys or food. Any animal who comes to my house needs to be okay with toddlers. I have comfortable furniture that animals are allowed on, lots of areas to be alone if needed, and different sleeping areas available. I live on a quiet street.
“Trusting someone with your dog can be hard but Kay-lea has made it very easy. Super friendly and professional! She treats my dog like her own, and that is unbeatable. Highly recommend.”
“Katie took very good care of Winston on his walk and sent a lot of pictures. She went above and beyond to meet him ahead of time and learn the specifics about him. Thanks Katie :)”

“Cory is matter-of-fact, flexible, and a good energy for our hyper lab mix. We were able to schedule an additional walk during our vacation which we really appreciated. We received updates each time he stopped by. Big fan!”

About: 1 year of professional dog and cat daycare and boarding experience. 2 years of dog and cat fostering including disabled kittens. Current loving home of 2 cats and a dog. I'm currently living at home after high-school and am unemployed. I used to work at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility, but decided I wanted to make my own schedule. I'm not very social besides with animals so my schedule is open and flexible. I own 2 cats and a dog so I'm unable to board or pet sit at my own house, but I can travel to your house and look after your furry friend in an environment I'm sure they're more comfortable in anyway.
About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.
“Allison was terrific! She helped out on short notice and went above and beyond to make everything work. The dogs love her. She is a great communicator. Very professional and responsive. Highly recommend!!”
“Jessica was great! She took time out of her night to come visit Koda the night before she walked him and see how they did with each other! She was also a great walker and was willing to just hang out with him outside of his kennel and play with his toys! We will definitely be going back to Jessica again!”

About: Hi, I’m Carly! I’ve always loved animals and understand how important it is to know they’re safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether you need drop-in visits, overnight care, or house sitting, I’ll make sure your pets are happy, loved, and your home is well cared for. I’m responsible, communicative, and keep things clean and cozy while you’re gone. My schedule changes a bit week to week, so feel free to message me. I’m happy to find a time that works for both of us! I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I follow each owner’s routine closely, give plenty of attention, and keep things clean and calm while you’re away.
About: I love dogs and have had dogs my whole life! I know it’s difficult to find a caring home for your pet to stay in while you are out of town. I have a large home with a nice yard. Your dogs will be well-taken care of. I have a 6 year old and 4 year old who love to help, so family-friendly pets are preferred. I am a 6th grade science teacher, so I’m off weekends and get off work at a decent time during the week. We do have a small senior dog that keeps to herself. We also have two 8 month old English Setters who are well behaved and friendly. I’m excited to get to know you and your pets! I am available by text all day and night, so you can reach me with questions throughout your trip. I also send updates daily with pictures!
