About: I’ve been lucky enough to raise and care for three wonderful dogs, from tiny two-month-old pups to wise, gentle seniors — so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and energy level, and I adapt my care to suit what makes them happiest. On walks, I keep a close eye on what they sniff or try to eat, as well as how they interact with other pets we meet along the way — making sure every encounter is safe and friendly. I can also do basic training like “sit,” “paw,” and “roll,” using high-quality freeze-dried liver treats (with your permission, of course!). When we return from our walk, I’m happy to give them a gentle clean-up — wiping their eyes, paws, and rear with premium Earth Rated pet wipes — so they come home fresh and comfortable. I walk my own dog at least twice a day, so spending time with animals is already part of my daily routine. I’m an active person, averaging over 10,000 steps a day, and since I live in downtown Palo Alto, walking is also my main form of getting around. At my client’s home, I will feed the pets, play with them, and keep an eye out for anything unusual, letting the owners know right away if I notice something of concern. I’m also happy to handle basic pet-related clean-up when needed. Having raised three dogs myself, I’ve become skilled at giving relaxing dog massages — and if your pet enjoys gentle human touch, I’d be delighted to treat them to a soothing massage.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs, which taught me that if they can coexist, anyone can. The cat, Garfield, totally ran the household though. Duh. I work full time in person so I have free time after 5pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. Also happy to stay over/housesit with your pet. About: I’ve had all different kinds of pets ranging from turtles, bunnies, chickens, and dogs since I was 5 years old. My last dog was a small dog and I’ve sat big dogs in the past. I’m currently on summer break from my university and don’t have a part time or full time job so I’ll have lots of time to take care of any pups! My house is fenced, and I have a little goldfish pond I’m creating netting over top of. My chickens are in a contained area without outside access and I currently don’t have any other pets inside of my home, so the dog could be crated or left to roam around depending on whatever is preferred.

About: My experience with dogs started when I rescued a 1-month dog. At that time, I was all his family. I felt in love with him, and named him Limo. Ever since, I informed myself and started taking care of all aspects of Limo's life. I educated him to be respectful of spaces in the house, where to sleep and where not to, how to behave when I was not home, and also some nice tricks to entertain him such as sitting, laying, closing a cupboard, and others. I enjoyed my time with Limo so much, he was my companion. When I moved to the US, I left Limo with my family in the house we all lived together, as I was afraid that the long flight from Italy would be too stressful for him. Life with a dog is fulfilling, and I miss Limo a lot, hence I thought hosting and taking care of dogs here could be a great way to keep being surrounded by these amazing animals. I love pets in general, and I'am always happy to have them sleeping next to me, cuddle them, play with them and walk them around - everything I could do with them is just magic. I currently work as a cook at mornings, but have normally plenty of time in the afternoon to walk dogs. At weekends, I could also host dogs at night - me and my wife are normally home, wither both or one of us, and love pets. Me and my wife have a fenced backyard where pets can safely stay, run and play. We also have a nice front yard, and plenty of area we can walk to. Our house isn't too big, but does not have carpet, which is ideal for hosting pets.

“I have known Alessandro ever since 2014, when we started our relationship. In 2015, when we were still in Italy, he rescued a 1-month old dog, who we named Limo. It was his first dog.. I can tell he felt in love with Limo, and Limo felt in love with Alessandro. Limo was his life companion for the following 6 years - until we moved to the US and had to leave Limo with Alessandro's family, because we were afraid the long flight would be too much for him -. They went on long walks together, they played games, Alessandro would work shifts and wake up normally at 4.45 AM to go to work, but ever since he got Limo he would happily wake up at 4:15 to allow time for a 30min walk with him. Besides Limo, every other dog is in love with Alessandro - and Alessandro in love with every dog we meet. To me, it is as if dogs can sense how much Alessandro loves them, and how good he is, and they love him back. Ever since we moved here, Alessandro misses Limo so much, and we can't afford a dog on our own, so we figured being a dog walker would help Alessandro being happier and spending time with what he loves the most: dogs. I really recommend Alessandro, who I know deeply, and if he was given the possibility to take this dog-walking, I feel he would be so happy. He is an hard worker, sweet, reliable and committed person.”

Alexis is our go-to cat sitter - she takes such great care of our cats and is always so communicative! We left the cats for almost two weeks (the longest we’ve ever left them) and I was worried about how they’d do…but with constant care and attention from Alexis, they were totally content!
Trina was wonderful! She came over the day before for a meet and greet, which really put my mind at ease. On the day of our drop-in, she was punctual and took such great care of our dog. Hannah was absolutely wonderful! She took care of my two cats for a week and did an amazing job. She’s dependable, resourceful, and clearly loves animals. Emma has been an awesome find for us and our dog, Cody. Cody is an active 70lb inqusitive guy but who has been quite sick and needs a lot of extra care. Emma was easy to communicate with - responding quickly and clearly. She has been great with Cody - taking the time to get to know him and being attentive to his needs. She is always on time and has been proactively thoughtful in caring for our dog and our house. I would absolutely work with Emma again either as a dog walker or house sitter.
Kevin helped out with our three cats last minute over a holiday weekend, and he did a fantastic job. He was thorough and communicative, sending lots of great pics and videos each day. He even lured out our shyest kitty for playtime! Will definitely have him back.
