About: I’m a student looking to help out with some local pet care and housesitting while I'm home for the summer. I’m vegan and I genuinely love animals and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule right now, so I'm around to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines, and make sure everything is taken care of. I'll always send plenty of photo updates too so you know they're doing great. I've taken care of dogs and cats for family and friends over the last couple of years, so I'm super comfortable handling feedings, walks, and overnight stays! “Three weeks after we got our puppy, we had to go on a week long trip and finding Mora could not have been short of a miracle. Our 4 months puppy loved spending time with her and knowing that he was in such a capable hand help us to also enjoy our time away! Mora was such a wonderful and loving caregiver and also spent some time to teach him new skills. I could not be happier with her and would recommend her to all of our friends, no need to say that she would always be our first choice! Thank you Mora”

“so easy! Charlotte is very accommodating and took good care of my French bulldog who is a terribly finicky eater. She made her eggs every day. She sent me pictures and kept me up-to-date. Her two little girls were adorable.”

About: I love cats and everything about them!! Out of all 8 of my fur babies 7 of them are cats! And I have one dog that thinks she’s a cat sometimes and tries to play with my cats if they let her. I’ve always been extremely big on treating your dogs/ animals right. The way you treat your animals will reflect in their behavior and nothing makes me happier than seeing my dog being so gentle and nice to my cats. She nurtured one of my kittens and they became very close it’s the sweetest thing! I recently rescued my first adult cat and take him with me wherever I go when necessary. I’m confident in my experience with both indoor and outdoor cats now because of him!

About: I have taken care of cats (my own and fosters) for over two years. I understand that cats are easily stressed out by strangers coming into their homes and I do my best to give them space while making sure their needs are taken care of.

About: I've an abysinnian cat at home, and also had a ragdoll and domestic short-hair. I've experience with kittens and mature cats. Don't hesistate to ask me to clean your cat's litter box or open a can of fish.

About: I had elderly cat named Bebe when I was younger that kept to herself, but I would always shower her with affection. Now I currently have 1 year old kitten who I had since around 3 months old. I have definitely love cats in all stages and I love playing with all kinds of toys.

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. I am very comfortable around dogs and want your dog to be happy. I am very clean and want to be considerate of your space.

About: I live with my wife, baby girl, cat, and dog in Palo Alto. At home, I am the CPO (chief poop officer). I've experience with administering flea medicine for cats and dogs. I make sure the pets have food and water. I've trained my current and past dogs (sit, stay, go home, come, leave it, look at me, and other commands). I am responsible and clean up after the animals whether it's poop or vomit. Furry animals make me happy. I'm extroverted, so I am also social and easy to communicate with. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.
About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. Over the summer, I will be working about 5 hrs/week in person and 10 hrs/week remotely. I am very flexible for dog walking, including in the morning and the evening. I live in a 2BR/2BA apartment building on Stanford campus. The building is very new. It is surrounded by several fields and playgrounds, so there is plenty of space for dogs to be walked. I have no personal pets.
“Best sitter we've ever encountered for our dog with many needs for her happiness. Well she came home so happy and better yet tired from all the walks which takes a lot. He kept sending us photos of her so we knew she was having a great time. He really understood our dog for not only the needs but her wants. So lucky to have found him.”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Milo had lot of fun with Daniel and Emily like the last time. They are my go to folks for taking care of Milo while I am away. Appreciate them going the extra mile with taking him out for long walks, playing & cuddling with him. Daniel is amazing with updates.”

“Lia was wonderful in taking care of Belle for a week. This was the first time for Belle to be away from us. Lia made us comfortable by sending videos every day and keep in constant communication with the entire time. Lia’s Gigi was a great friend to Belle and they had a wonderful time. I would definitely ask Lia to dog sit in the future.”

“Tillana was an amazing sitter for our pomeranians Cirrus and Misty. We had her watch the pups for our wedding and was able to pick them up for us with last minute notice. She even brought them back around for some photos after the ceremony! They absolutely enjoyed the stay going hiking and enjoying the beautiful area. It was like they were on their own little vacation. We also had some problems with an accidental double booking that she was able to help resolve no problems. We highly recommend Tillana to anyone needing a sitter in the area!”

“Yun and his partner did a great job taking care of our pup, Bagel, for a whole week. Bagel had lots of fun with them, they walked and played fetch with him daily. They made sure they understood the care instructions we provided and sent daily updates. Most importantly, Bagel came home a happy dog. Highly recommend!”

“Joy was both skillful and easygoing when we left our dog Lila with her and her family. I got photos of Lila snuggling on the sofa, and Joy had a great outdoor space for her dogs and mine to play.”

“Nina and Leo took great care of Nana! We had a great meet and greet. While they were watching her they provided tons of photos and updates. She was in great hands! We will definitely request them again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Kathryn and Denis are top notch dog people. They and their family provided a cozy and welcoming home for our high energy pup. Our dog does not always settle in quickly but did so quickly with this beautiful family. She, the dog, even appeared to mind her manners. Thank you K & D.”
